I called to book and there was a small stumble finding my information but they called back in a timely manner with everything good to go. They only have the equipment for a hydra facial at the Guelph location, so they offered me a normal hydrating facial for the Waterloo location which I accepted. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the staff. It was just me and the nurse/aesthetician working on me so it was a very nice experience. The member of staff was very nice, friendly, and polite. She explained each step of the facial and answered each of my questions. They have a relaxing Spotify playlist playing through the treatment. Unfortunately, they don't have a premium account and the occasional ads took me out of the moment of relaxation but that's alright. They're also doing a great job with Covid and provide you with a stick-on disposable mask to keep on through your treatment. It was a wonderful experience!

Sure enough, we found ourselves in line to drop into Sunday General Store. The window shopping was enough to draw me in. They focus on low/no waste products, locally mades, and natural. All things I've loved to appreciate within the last year. As an added bonus? It's also a groovy hip coffee bar offering a variety of hot beverages! I ordered an Americano Misto and you could tell the quality of the beans could not even be compared to that of my Keurig. Truly delicious and a great late morning pick-me-up. COVID protocols at the time of visit were strictly enforced. There were a very limited amount of people inside which although I had to wait, it was worth it because once inside I felt safe. What I bought: +Holy Basil loose tea - has tons of benefits and I like experimenting :D +Tango Chile Sauce - no additives, gluten free, and vegan!! She has a great dental-chair manner and her hygienists are very kind and competent. Her office has a nice atmosphere (and is very child friendfly) and parking is easily available in the front.
