After complaining I did get my money refunded. I am now searching for a solution for my shoes. Please do not go to Rosendalhs to buy shoes. You will regret it like I did. I gave them 3 weeks to try and sort that out to no avail, which If I'm being totally honest, is not their fault. When I first went into this place, the "specialist" who saw me asked several questions INCLUDING if I was Diabetic, which I am NOT. So, immediately there was a question about insurance. I told him regardless, I just had part of my foot amputated. I desperately need help walking. HOW MUCH IS A PAIR OF ORTHOTICS? His definitive answer: $150 per pair. No other feees? NO. Ok, I can cough that up for my feet. So they scanned my feet and placed the order. 3 weeks later I drive an hour to go pick them up and they bait and switch and now they are $466. That's $316 MORE than what they told me it was originally. To say I was beyond furious is an understatement. Then I was told that if I WAS diabetic, they would be $150. Ok, we'll try this: I suddenly identify as being diabetic. This is Boise, after all. We should be able to play their liberal games... Well, since I wasn't diabetic when I ordered them now they're $466. They can keep their F U C K I N G orthodicks. I honestly truly despise businesses like this.

I called Austin (I live in Oregon and have to travel a few hours to get to location) and told him my issues with the shoes I had. I was hesitant to ask for help, but Austin reassured me that they would help me fix my problem with my current shoes. I ended up getting two new pairs of shoes (different brand, of course) and two pairs of insoles. Timothy, the salesman who helped me this time, he did the new computer measuring of my feet and discovered I needed a different size than previously thought. Timothy was exceedingly patient as I tried on several boxes of shoes. I'm so happy that I called in to ask for help. Austin & Timothy solved my problem. I am a very happy customer. I researched various places to go, and after reading the reviews online, made the appointment for the 30 minute consultation at Foot Dynamics. Janice was very friendly and thorough durning my initial visit and showed me several things to do at home to cure the pesky little pain in my foot. Since I was buying the packaged insoles at various other stores, I opted to go with the custom made pair. It hit me like a ton of bricks that my feet were different, so why have the same orthotic for both! Today, 02-06-2023, I went in early to my appointment to pick up my orthotics to discuss shoes. Mark assited me and was very knowledgeable and helpful in picking out a pair of Altra's. He made sure my size was correct by putting me in a half size bigger stating that the Altra tends to run smaller. Once I had the shoes, Janice put in the orthotics and a very noticeable improvement was found! I'm hoping to be to be top notch for the upcoming Europe trip knowing I'll be walking aLOT!! I live quite a ways from Boise, but I'll make it a point to come here for my shoe needs in the future. Very happy to have found a place with great and helpful people!

That ruins the vibe for me for any business. REI is crazy expensive tho! Ooooh! So Al's just opened. I was sad to see the trampoline park close and leave. Sports Authority was at this location at one time too. Mittens was on the board, soooo...ahhh! Never mind lol. They closed. Sad. Anyway, finally a store goes in there. Obviously we are talking about AL's. This store is fantastic. I know it's going to be pricey eventually, but when we went in, the sales they were having were amazing. They had great prices on almost everything. With Christmas coming up, too, I'm sure their sales will once again be epic. They have all kinds of top brands. North Face, Patagonia, etc. Any place that carries Patagonia is ok in my book...even if Patagonia is another company that gets too political way too often. They make great jackets tho. I've had my R3 for like 17 years and still looks new. So walking into Al's and seeing they sell Pats, made me happy. Pats in general are very expensive. So if they happen to have these on sale, don't hesitant to pick one up. Same goes for a lot of the other name brands they have here. Great store for hunters, for anyone who loves kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, I mean, it's just a great store. I'm usually iffy on these chain stores, but I think this one is mainly specific to this area of the country, PNW, and obviously Utah and ugh, I'm sure California as well..at least Northern California? We headed to 3peat after brunch to see what kind of dope stuff they had. This store front is so nice! Walking in, everything is so organized and clean. The shoes were perfectly displayed on the wall. There were racks of clothing that were all nicely hung. For a small venue, everything was nicely spaced. You didn't feel crowded. My husband did find a couple pair of rare sneakers but unfortunately they were not his size. It was cool that they had them and that we got to check them out in person. They have a great variety of sneakers for those sneaker heads out there or sneaker collectors. We didn't really check out what kind of clothing they had but from all the customers looking, I'm sure they had some cool stuff. I'm sure we will be back to see what new sneakers they get in. I honestly didn't mind kicking it while my husband looked around. I was admiring their two pretty chandeliers in the front. I thought it added a hint of elegance to the store.
