Awsome!! Very knowledgable staff, they now their snow equipment.
    Jessica S.

This place has been by far one of the best experiences, I've had on my trip so far. I was on a trip visiting my brother for his birthday, We had plans to go skiing. I found this place while comparing ski equipment rental pricing. This place by far has the best prices on rental equipment. They are very knowledgeable about the equipment for the needs of beginners intermediates or advanced skiers. Coming in and getting skis fitted and rented it took about 10 to 15 minutes, they were very attentive, and answered all my questions perfectly. They have a very friendly staff, that really knows their stuff. So we went skiing the next day, unfortunately it was pouring down rain, And it was predicted to rain the following day, that's what I get for coming to try to go skiing at the end of the season. So ended up calling this place back, I was expected to have the skis rented for another day, I explain to them that it has been pouring rain all day, I never got to use the skis, and I explain to them if I'm able to bring him back today if I could get my money back since I never did use the skis. , And they were totally cool about it, They understood that it's been a really bad ski season, and that the snow is melting really fast. They gave me full $37 refund for the two days I was supposed to have the skis for. Next time I come back for next season ski trip, I'll come in the middle of the season, so I know that there's good snow, and I will definitely be coming back here again to re-rent My skis.

Never again. I've…read moresold several items at the new East Boise Play it Again store since they opened earlier this year. I expect to get less than if I was making a private sale. Much less. But I do expect employee competence, respect, and professionalism. So far, the employees there have showed me just that. Today was the last visit I will make either to buy or sell at the East Boise store. I believe the employee who created my offer (tall blonde guy) was formerly at the Fairview store, which alienated me for different reasons a few years back (employee professionalism). That's how i remembered him, and why I considered leaving when i saw him. He suggested I look around the store while he looked over my equipment. I had a new Helly Hanson gym bag (current retail $75), an unused Rossignol backcountry ski pack (current retail $180), and an older used Wilderness Experience backpack (price unknown). I also had a used softball which, I was told by an employee before the store officially opened, would fetch $1 each. That employee even saw this same softball. The blonde guy was away from the desk, and another employee told me about my offer of $15.50--$5 each for the backpacks and gym bag, and 50 cents for the softball. When he told me the offer was 15.50, I asked "for which bag?" I could tell he was reticent to tell me it was for all four items together. The blonde employee clearly did not do his job by simply counting the number of items and stiffing me as if I was desperate for a measly amount of cash. To not differentiate between three very different pieces of equipment, and then to even offer 50 cents less for the softball was more than insulting. It was unsatisfactory work. I strongly encourage the franchise owners to support the employees who have been there, and to not employ that blonde guy I worked with today, even as a temporary. He is a disaster. In the meantime, I am heading off to an independently owned shop that pays fairly for used equipment. It's not located as conveniently as this East Boise store, but being treated respectfully and fairly is worth far, far more than a location.

Fun store for affordable sports equipment, and their service shop is awesome. I've had skis tuned…read moreand a bike fixed with great results and reasonable prices. Definitely recommend!

Those were different times,…read morewhen the mountain truly felt like a community-focused place rather than a corporate entity. Recently, I paid $110 for a lift ticket and experienced a day marked by a sense of urgency and some irritability among visitors, which made the experience less enjoyable. In three hours, I was able to make six runs, which was noteworthy given the circumstances. The snow was surprisingly good considering the effects of global warming. The parking lot was very crowded all the way up to Pioneer Lodge, and the volume of visitors was quite remarkable. The Deer Point Express lift experienced several slowdowns due to wear and tear, so I chose to avoid it. On a positive note, the guest services staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful. The ski shop staff also assisted me with a binding issue free of charge after some discussion about a potential fee.

Bogus Basin is a great place to learn to ski their ski instructors and Ski Patrol are incredibly well trained, kind, and qualified. I myself learned to ski at bogus basin through their passport program. A program that includes upon completion gear rental for the entire season and a season pass. Bogus basin is one of the few ski resorts that is open for night skiing until 10 PM during regular season depending on snowfall. That means our ski resort is open for 12 hours a day on average. Are food price is a little high? Sure, but not out of the question for what other ski resorts are also charging this year both of the lodges upgraded to accept Apple Pay! There's a new taco Cantina at the renovated Pioneer Lodge, and of course they serve barbecue at the outside stand. Bogus basin has over 32 runs across varying levels several black diamonds, long cat tracks and an awesome beginner area. I love our ski Mountain. I love that we have the access and ability to ski so easily and close to us. I regularly visit bogus basin at least 2 to 3 times a week during the season. In the summer bogus offers, concerts, yoga, and a roller coaster! I highly recommend everyone who visits Boise visits bogus!
