This is a nicely renovated with a cozy ambience, calling themselves a restaurant, but unfortunately the service remains that of a mediocre pub.
I ordered chicken supreme and which was on the table in 5 minutes - clearly indicated it was reheated.. I found it rather dry..
But what really disappointed us was the way the pub handled the fact that they were out on naan bread. BF ordered a curry with mango chutney and naan bread. The meal came without the bread and when we asked the waitress she didn't even have an apology to give us, let alone offering us an alternative. Bf approached another waiter to ask of there's anyhing they vould substitute the naan bred with and got a very condescending "...umm..bread?.."
I thought I give this place another chance to make up for this and when paying, I asked them if they wanted to give us a discount which is fair given that we have payed for the full dish.. The answer was a clear no a so is this review. If you want restaurant service, go to a restaurant, if you want a reheated pub meal, the Tradehouse will do. They won't see us for food there again that's for sure. read more
