How do they throw away buttons or anglers knowing it belongs to someone's piece of clothing. It's their responsibility to save everything that comes off as I can't get the same aglet since Burberry doesn't sell them. These are $1800 coats not $200 where I can buy another one tomorrow. A few things really stood out to me: 1. They provided a quote with their response. I contacted a few different junk removal services I found via Yelp to see if they could remove my couch (surprisingly, the only company that never even bothered responding to me is the company that was ranked #1 in the area and had a ton of glowing reviews--and I both called AND e-mailed them). Omar responded to me within hours and provided a shockingly reasonable quote in his response. He also offered to come by the following day. I had already made an appointment with another company, but that company would not provide a quote without coming by first and had already cancelled on me once. I knew I was not going to get a better price than the one I received from Omar, so I decided to cancel with the other company and do business with Fins Up instead. 2. Punctuality. They showed up exactly when they said they would. That NEVER happens in Miami. 3. They did not stray from their quote. I had described the couch as a four-piece sectional, but I don't think they were expecting it to be quite as large as it was. The pieces were too large to fit in my building's elevator and needed to be carried down a flight of stairs, so that made its removal much more difficult. Regardless, when I asked Omar how much I owed him, he responded with the quote he initially gave me. He could have responded, "Well, I know I quoted you this, but...", but he didn't. I really appreciated that. They are a family-owned business and told me they have encountered so many people who have been grossly overcharged by other junk removal companies. That's not Fin's Up's game. I can tell. 4. There was no language barrier. I don't mind if a service provider doesn't speak perfect English. I've lived in Miami for 10 years and still speak zero Spanish, so who am I to judge? But when a service provider shows up at my house speaking ZERO English, it makes everyone's job a lot harder. When I brought in the material, I asked that the wires be separated by type before weighing because they were clearly different materials. That request was ignored, and everything was weighed together as mixed material, which lowers the payout. On top of that, the employees weighing the material mixed up the prices for different grades. I already knew the correct pricing for the materials I brought in, which is why I questioned it in the first place. Instead of a clear explanation, there was confusion and poor communication. I also want to address the disrespectful behavior from the employee shown in the photo. He started with his mouth. when I simply asked questions about the grading and pricing. I get brushed off.
