The people that work here are so nice. The vendors are excellent. Anyone try the peanut butter fudge yet? If not, it is so good! As soon as you walk in the first vendor is all set up for Easter! I was able to get everything I needed for my kids easter baskets right there. Good thing there are shopping carts and baskets on the left when you walk in. There is another room they opened in the first section filled with great things. I am never disappointed. The store is clean and fun. read more

This place is ran by a family that runs multiple stores in indiana. they live off vendors, they have you sign a contract 3 pages long thats in lawyer script needs a telescope , basically to run things in one way. and thats to screw you over at the start an end of each month an when you decide to close. they are not liable for any theft or damage, so when your things, your own goods come up missing it causally just walked out the door.. over the past 4ish months i have seen several people walking in an out with backpacks, duffle bags. yet they charge out the ass for rent plus a an 6.5% commission fee on every sale on each thing plus make you pay transaction fee for credit cards. now that's ridiculous. you yourself have to be in there selling things your way. with how i saw things work they make it impossible for you to make a profit. if anything gets stolen its should be managers fault. but guess what! not at this store! they all play a role. read more

Posting my experience after renting a booth at Trader Bucks. Save yourself the headache & rent a booth somewhere else! Horrible, messy, unorganized, dismissive and unhelpful management. On several occasions, items were missing, stolen, moved or lost from the booth with no resolution from management. When ending our rental agreement, we were charged another month plus a $5 fee without being previously notified of our move-out date, even though we asked for an exact date & were told that "we had some more days" to get everything moved out after reopening after COVID. I really wish we would've had just waited for a booth to open up at Sell It Here! After messaging Trader Bucks on Facebook requesting an explanation as to the breakdown of our monthly check, instead of receiving any sort of reply, they just reacted with the "laugh" response to my message and left me on read. if I could give zero stars, I would. My husband and I went in on a Monday after noon and purchased a Queen sized box spring for $70. We came back less than 3 hours later and picked up said box spring. We have picture proof of the label saying it was Queen size, as well as the fact that the sold sign was put on the same exact one. We got it home and it was not a Queen size, it was a Full. We called the next day and explained what happened. They said they would call us back. No call back. I called today to follow up and got the run around again. Spoke to the manager and he told me he had no proof we grabbed the one we bought since it wasn't in the plastic so they would not exchange or refund. So they're ok with their vendors misleading customers and they will not do anything about it. He was extremely rude and I explained I have picture proof, they checked it before my husband left the store to confirm it was the correct item, and he has security footage if he wanted to check that and he still refused to help. Sucks to know people can get away with being dishonest and get away with stealing. read more

I bought a lamp at this place that didn't work and I bought a set of queen-sized sheets that don't fit my queen-sized bed. I know that this is a no-refund flea market, and that you have to take what you get. But when you're 0-2 on what are, in fact, fairly ordinary purchases, I feel like you can hold it against the business as well -- at least for not having better quality control about what they're selling. I'd go to Klassy Klutter instead. read more

Please Did all of you reviewing trader bucks forget this is a flea market ???? They are never pretty and you have to weed through junk and maybe find a treasure.... And the prices are individually set by booth owner and depends if their junk finds are treasures to them or their research on the item.... The people who work there are not experts on junk or the mind of the vendor :,,., silly to expect Macy's walking in to a flea market or junk stores ....... Most booths aren't manned if you have a question or might want to haggle on price. A lot of the same stuff here, only scattered here & there. Some prices are ridiculous and some people put chipped/stained/torn items out. Others have nice offerings, esp. on furniture. Was hoping to find a booth that had items for bridal/baby showers, handmade toiletries and candles, etc., perfumes, pet items. read more

Lots of overpriced junky stuff in a crummy environment. Lots of "booths" look like somebody just dumped junk in. There are quite a few vintage items, but most are less than prime, but at prime prices. There are quite a few flea market, mass produced items, if that is what you are looking for. I've wondered about this place for a while. Glad I checked it out, 'cause I won't be coming back! read more

Ethan, I know you wrote this review back on September 24th, 2008, but just in case you should come back to this review and read. They have signs posted around to test your electric devices before buying. So you should have tested your lamp before buying it. You could always buy electrical wire to rewire the lamp? Did it need a bulb? As far as the queen size sheets go? They probably were not queen size or your bed is not queen size? I know you can not test bed sheets, but have some common sense? Klassy Klutter is a good indoor flea market, but you will run into problems as with any flea market. It's all used stuff no matter where you go! It's not like you are getting brand new stuff. read more

0h, people quit complaining. Andy and Matt are trying very hard to change this flea market into a fun shopping experience. A lot of new vendors with some great prices on top name brand articles. I find plenty when shopping there. Someone always carry's out my purchased that is wrapped in nice clean paper and a new plastic bag. Would recommend it now. They have a pop machine for only .50 cents. Doesn't smell musty or that mildew odor seems to be gone. They will buy items off of you or purchase and appraise estates. I have been to Trader Buck's on more than a dozen occassions and I ALWAYS find something I didn't even know I was looking for! Sometimes I stroll through without an intended purpose and sometimes there is something specific I am looking for and I have yet to be disappointed. Yes, some of the booths need their owners to take better care of the pieces they are "trying" to sell and to attempt to "display" them in some fashion but Trader Buck can only police that to a certain degree. I have noticed that some booths have big bulky items that have crazy price tags on them that you could buy the item brand new for less. It appears to me those people are probably just storing those items and know no one is going to pay that. Having said that, I know right where those booths are and they get a glance and I never stop to shop in them. The above mentioned booths that are crazy messy, take the time to poke around. You never know what you might find and you might find something you just didn't know you were looking for as I have found many good deals. It is like garaging sales without buring the gas to drive all over town. Items I have found: ~5 shelf bookcase that I converted into a Cat Tree-less than $15 ~Desk with a slide down top and removable shelves that I converted into a stero stand and albumn display-less than $20 ~Medium dog bed that has since been taken over by our felines-less than $5 ~Foot stool with removable top that I converted into a toy box for my grand daughter-less than $10 ~ White wicker small coffee table for patio that I gave a fresh coat of paint and is now an adorable night stand-less than $20 ~Whte wicker stool that I have converted into the base of a bassinet stand-less than $15 ~2 bar stools that I gave a fresh coat of paint and they look wonderful in my kitchen-less than $5 a piece!! ~small picnic basket that we use as a bread box complete with brand new plastic setting for 4-less than $20 ~beautiful clear glass lamp with frosted flowers-$4!! Heading there now to browse around and see what I find that I didn't know I needed!! Give it a chance but take your time. Nothing good happens fast! read more

I can't disagree with some of the reviews on here. Yes, their carpet does desperately need to be cleaned and some of the booths need better quality merchandise. However, if you are looking for inexpensive, gently-used furniture, this is the place to go! You can also find just about anything else you could want, new and used. They have toys, kitchenware, vintage items, clothing, games, stereo equipment, incense, body jewelry, and much more. read more

When it first opened they had genuinely rare and worthwhile finds, now all it seems like is a dumping ground for garage sale toys and equipment. There's hardly a thing worth purchasing at this point as all of the shops have been well picked through. Now they buy wholesale products and sell them throughout the store, taking up perfectly usable space for other patrons who'd like to sell things. It's similar to junk you'd find at a large Goodwill, just 3x more junk. read more

This flea market reminds me of the kind I went to when I was a little kid. These kind of places have become extinct - for better or for worse. The warehouse it is in is huge, but so many of the booths in the front half are in complete disarray with merchandise Goodwill wouldn't be happy to accept. The bane of flea markets to me is the $1.00 bins of made in China products that aren't fit to sell at the Dollar Tree but takes up room in flea markets now. Trader Buck's has one such area. There are also quite a few empty booths suggesting sales aren't keeping up with rent. There are no antiques in here - just used merchandise, but if ever there was going to be a place where you might find some treasured toy from the 80's for $.50, it would be here. The back half of the warehouse labeled "show room" has better merchandise, is more organized and some booths even have themes. There is even a massage booth back there, but the masseuse wasn't there on this Saturday morning. I picked up a dollhouse miniature, porcelain toilet and sink for $2.03. read more

Today I spent 45 minutes looking around for a gift for my little sister as well as something for myself. I was there with my 2 small children and i've been there a couple times but i will NEVER RETURN as well as anyone i know. I found a jewelry box, 2 necklaces, and a old reclining chair. The chair doesn't obviously fit in the shopping cart so along with my other stuff put the tag in the cart and headed to counter to check out. the lady at register was alright i guess and was helpfull letting me kno that if the chair doesn't fit in my car then i have 5 days to find another way to get it home. Another lady walk over to assist the cashier. she said that the handwriting on the tag for the chair was not of the owners, therefor she cannot sell it to me. I asked if she could possibly write my number down so that i could come back and purchase the chair once she spoke w/ the owner of the chair and confirmed the tag was correct or whatnot. She then proceeded to be extremely rude to me and it was completely uncalled for. She said "I have the right to refuse selling you anything." I was confused, I only asked if shed take my number down so i could come back for the chair once she spoke with the owner. That wasnt awnsering my question so I thought she misunderstood me. so explained i understand i cant buy it today and was asking if its possible to give me a call once it is. She then again just repeated herself. I then assumed that was a no. So I said, nevermind, and asked the cashier how much i owed her for my stuff. The cashier was cut off by the lady and this time she said same thing about her right to refuse, that I cannot purchase anything and that i need to leave the building. I said"Are you being serious, I dont understand why, what reason do u have to treat me like this" Then she accussed me of writing on the tag. WTF so i told her to look at the cameras cause i didnt do anything and was extremely pissed ispent all that time in there and couldnt buy anything. She refused to look at the cameras . So im mad but explain to her how rude she is being and tell her I have been here forever looking for a gift for my sisters birthday.just let me buy this and i'll leave. She said "No , Get your kids and leave the building" If my kids wouldnt have been with me i would have beat her head in and told her what a fat ugly Bi*ch She is!!!!! read more

This place has a little bit of everything. The items are reasonably priced, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend testing electrical devices ( outlets are provided )... I believe that most things work when delivered to the store, but because the vast majority of spots are unmanned, things do get broken by unscrupulous people. read more

I could spend hours in this place and have. It's big, it's clutered and it FULL of treasures...if your willing to look, thumb through and dig, dig, dig. Come on people, IT'S A FLEA MARKET!! its not suppose to look like Penny's, if thats what you want, go across the street. The place is getting better every day, much cleaner and organized that when I start visiting, so is much better ambient now, they open news booth every day, like the 727, is gorgeous , even have a large selection of beautiful displays on it!! read more
