Who knew that an entertainment district themed after turn-of-the-century Mid-Atlantic boardwalks (e.g., Coney Island, NY and Atlantic City, NJ) would have so much appeal? Well for us, it did. It's really charming and intimate, especially when compared to other parts of Disney World, like the relatively gargantuan Disney Springs. So, along with the fun and unique "seaside" period atmosphere, its size and the fact that this part of Disney isn't crowded had a lot to do with our enjoyment of Disney's BoardWalk. There's a black-and-white photo inside the BoardWalk Inn of the Three Stooges during an appearance at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City in 1938. To me, that photo encapsulates the time period and atmosphere that I think Disney aspired to recreate at the BoardWalk, and I think Disney was successful, for the most part. Aside from the Inn (and the Innkeeper's Club), highlights here include the Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers, Screen Door General Store (for exclusive BoardWalk merch), and Atlantic Dance Hall (cool they have this art-deco music venue here). My wife and I would like to return and have dinner at restaurants Flying Fish (seafood) and Trattoria al Forno (Italian).

I needed a hat, so ofc they have a Lids, Nike, lululemon, a bunch of smaller electronic shops, high end designer stores like Gucci, ferragamo etc. I would come back or head up the street to the other big outlet. Either way it's a chill spot to kill time. The kiosk stands mostly overpriced dupes and reps. Vape stands highly overpriced. Ample trash cans around and pretty clean in general!

There are also 2 Starbucks within 3 minutes of each other, so if you want a cappuccino, they really have you covered! As far as shopping goes, they have everything from Ralph Lauren to Adidas to Psycho Bunny and everything in between. The place had a decent amount of people there, and by the look and sound of it, most of them were tourists, specifically tourists from overseas. I personally did not think the deals and selection were all that special, but maybe if you're coming from Europe or Asia it's unbelievable, I don't know. I just wasn't seeing the value here. Overall, three stars from me. No great shopping deals as far as I'm concerned, but a pleasant place to walk around nonetheless.

I love Disney Springs and so does my family!…read more We usually stop at Disney Springs for dinner and enjoy walking around shopping and taking in the sites and sounds of Disney. One suggestion: because it can get extremely hot, it would be great if they added more misters or cooling areas throughout the Springs. There isn't a lot of shade, so walking around outside can be a challenge unless you duck into the stores or restaurants for a break. The free parking is definitely a plus. You do have to go through a security screening before entering Disney Springs, but it was a smooth process and completely understandable. Just be prepared--it's very easy to spend a few dollars here! Between the Disney merchandise, treats, and unique shops, there are plenty of tempting things to see. Overall, it's a fun place to visit, especially with family, and a great way to enjoy some Disney magic without needing a park ticket. I'm sure some day they will end up charging for this area, but I hope not.

Darth's Mall has evolved over the years I have been attending Star Wars Weekends from a tent behind Rock 'n Roll Roller Coaster to a brick and mortar retail mecca located in Soundstage 1 in the Studio Backlot. It is Disney and Star Was together so it can be pricey but you can find many items that are not available anywhere else. A couple of years ago Disney D-Tech Me moved into Darth's Mall with a very creative offering. They will take a 3D image of your face and then transfer it to an action figure. They have several offerings to choose from such as a Stormtrooper, Rebel Pilot and 3D image yourself frozen in cabonite a la Han Solo from Empire Strikes back. Whether you are looking for hard to find toys, collectables, art or even decals for your vehicle Darth's Mall has it and if you time it right it's fun to get it.

Seeking certain items can become a challenge when walking through various aisles of a big store. I do love a huge selection of items but sometimes less is more. I was indeed grateful to find a few items I couldn't find at other stores/supermarkets to take with me on my trip back home. Customer service is also great, was able to find a store representative to assist with locating one item that was hard to get. I did do a price check on some of the items purchased and others I did not and found some to be less expensive than in my home area yet others were a bit pricier. Overall great store.

Unlike other companies, I am rarely greeted by employees in target stores, but if I do need assistance, I can usually find someone.
