I am addicted to Trader Joe's they have some amazing stuff here and I love their quality meats! I'm here at least twice a month!!!

My current orchid. I've repotted it twice now because its gotten o big and its still blooming like Day One! I love orchids!

I love Trader Joe's! I buy an orchid every few months and they are so lovely, healthy and beautiful. I love their fresh bagged nuts, especially the unsalted varieties. Their produce like broccoli and edamame are delicious. But most of all the staff are helpful, courteous and service-minded, something you don't often get at other grocery stores. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Just being in the store feels good with the all the fresh flowers, colorful displays and fast check out lines.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you've never been here, now is the time!

I have shopped TJ's since early 1980's - Drove all the way from Hermosa Beach to Pasadena - the only location I was aware of back then. Great staff, decent prices & now a quicker drive - Morro Bay to San Luis Obispo

My favorite grocery shop in San Luis Obispo! It has pre-made items to make life easier, it has fresh and organic produce, it has seasonal items to make things fun during certain holidays, a fun beer and wine selection, yummy snacks that can be pretty healthy, and awesome cards for different occasions! I typically made salads for lunch and all my ingredients are from Trader Joe's, and even my dinners are normally made my Trader Joe's items. The cards are only 99 cents, I've gotten birthday, thank you, congratulatory, just because and holiday cards- they change up their designs all the time too! Try to avoid 5-6pm on weekdays because most people are shopping then during work. The entire town is at Trader Joe's on Sundays and Monday nights- most of their items are depleted!

After a day of a wine tour and expensive pours and bottles purchased. I thought why not go to the local TJs and ask for the local Trader Joe's wine person to help us on an economical mission. Have that person pick a handful of local wines they highly recommended with $$ as a limiter and their taste as a decider. The guy I think was named Dave. But he and my Fiancé connected on wines and ended up with 10 plus bottles!! We are excited to try them all. Again service and knowledge was fun and we will probably skip a pro tour for a TJ curated tour!?

Another poor experience. Thought I would give them some time after last visit. The are stiill complete assholes. Staff is awful. Still up to their communist ways. But the company claims it o be mask free. Not this location. I will never return. Tried to give them several chances to change. I dont need their junk

Great place to shop quality products and great service . It's expensive thought as it costs over $100 for a weekly groceries of people of 4.

There used to be a…read moresmall one in Morro Bay and I would shop for all the small parties I gave in my classroom each year! This large store in San Luis is located in the Laguna Lake shopping center just off the Los Osos Valley Road, so it's a little trafficy to get in but there's plenty of free parking and even shaded spaces available. There's even a special veterans parking space right near the front door. We made a visit the other day so I could get spices to cook some turkey Tikka Masala with the leftover Thanksgiving turkey. This is the only place I've found recently that has individual spices. They still sell them by the individual spice like oregano or thyme or majoram, Most places now have one spice called Italian seasoning or pumpkin spice or barbecue spice and you don't know what the combination is. Since I actually cook things from scratch, I want individual spices and this store has them at bargains prices. Today I got chili, turmeric, oregano, and more cinnamon since it's the cinnamon season! I also enjoy the display of little seasonal gifts that they have available. I got a couple of cute soft socks for my secret Santa pals and scouted out a lot of little stocking stuffers for my grandkids.. When I was a student )appreciated the small sizes of gourmet cheeses and could offer a very nice cheese plate for a lower price than I would've had to pay at other stores. They also have all kinds of crackers,, snacks, and fresh produce, right when you walk in. Paper plates and party supplies are also plentiful, so it is a good place to visit to prepare for those holiday parties. I also got a large size of fresh crumbled feta cheese as well as a plain low-fat yogurt, which has a wonderful homemade tangy flavor. This place is perfect if you do your cooking from scratch because it has all the basics at affordable prices!

After we grabbed our cart and started looking at prices, I assumed the "HIGH" prices were because this was California! Smart & Final frequently mentions no store membership. Are they referring to Kroger type stores where everyone with a phone already has a membership? No idea but our next stop was down the road at Von's. I wished we had stopped there first. We would have saved money. We found the folks friendly and the store clean. It was just much more expensive than what we had expected. At least now we know.

I decided to wait because I saw the timer on the oven said 11 minutes. Well, after about 20 minutes of waiting, Dawn came to check on them and stated that they weren't ready yet. She said it was likely because one of the larger chickens isn't cooked through. She offered to check the internal temp of one of the smaller chickens and pull it out for me if it was done. This worked out and I was able to take the chicken home for a family dinner. While preparing a casserole with the chicken my Dad kept steeling bits of the chicken because it was so good. This happened two weeks ago and tonight during family dinner my Dad brought up how good that chicken was. Thank you Dawn for going above and beyond!

It could have had more chicken, and some pico would have really added to the flavor. I had two shrimp tacos and one fish taco. The shrimp tacos were amazeballs. All tacos were crammed full of protein, cabbage, mango (shrimp ones, that is). Shrimp tacos are way better than the fish. I think they used talapia or catfish - two fish that always taste a little muddy to me). Overall, very happy with the dining experience. Macy was a great server. Answered questions pleasantly with knowledge. She was attentive but not intrusive. We are outside because it was a little noisy inside. This last weekend, we went to take milk back (it's a specially processed $12 gallon of milk) because it went sour. It was purchased just 5 days before it went bad and the expiration date wasn't until May. Of course, we got about 3 cups out of it when it was opened once and then two days later, reopened it and it was sour & would not froth. One of the managers refused to take it back and said "well it's halfway gone." Well yeah? We used it for a recipe the day we got it AND it wasn't supposed to expire until May. It was just 5 days later that it went sour. No issues with improper temperature in fridge. It was NOT left out. No contamination issues. It's not about the money. It's about not only a health hazard but the way it was handled. No refund, no solution to the issue. The manager shrugged and sent me on my way. I will no longer shop here and suggest others don't either. So disappointed.
