    Spicy Thai shrimp fried rice
    Joshua H.

So I prepared the spicy Thai shrimp fried rice that I got from Trader Joe's and it didn't say whether to cook frozen or unfrozen so I cooked it frozen. I followed the instructions and let's just say don't use stainless steel pans but also I didn't do my test to see if my pen was ready before I put the oil in so that's on me. I have to take the blame for that because my pan is a mess and I'm cleaning it right now. But let's get to this fried rice. It has a great heat to it now I did add a little sesame oil to my pan and a little dark soy sauce and the shrimp are good with it. I would buy this again. Do you need to maybe add a little flavor yes because you get the heat, but it's not hitting me with flavor. I get a little spices, but it's not something that's gonna wow now to some people it will, but to me that's a connoisseur and a home chef I want a little bit more flavor and another thing to stretch this is to maybe scramble two eggs because it does have eggs in it, but I just think that fried rice is better with fresh eggs the eggs in it are good but I just I like a lot of eggs in my fried rice so I will be adding two eggs and some colossal black tiger shrimp because I had them on hand, but I just want it in this picture you to see the fried rice by itself no added eggs no added shrimp just this fried rice and I'm not gonna lie to you. I'm gonna buy this again the same way I like those shrimp potstickers if you're in there grab those two they're great with a little bit of that citrus Panzo sauce yes sir, thank me later. The ambience of the store it is what it is you know Trader Joe's to me it's a I would say maybe a better version of Aldi's. I don't know why I always had this stigma that Trader Joe's was an expensive store, but I do like the culture of different things I can get in all these that some things. Yes you're gonna pay for you know but I'm one of them connoisseurs that I go to Trader Joe's, Publix Whole Foods that's one of my favorites num dae mun for fresh seafood or I'll go to DeKalb farmers market every once in a blue moon and just grab a whole lot of seafood, but I also shop at Walmart Lidl because they have certain things that I can go to those storage for now you know what I should've added to this, which I probably will do later is make a duck breast that I have on hand and make it a shrimp and duck breast fried rice oh my God I think that's gonna be fabulous, but y'all have a wonderful and blessed day and thanks for looking at my review

This is my guilty pleasure store. It doesn't matter what I have on my list, bc I'm always walking out with more! Lol Lately, the produce has needed to be fresher, but aside from that, it is still a favorite stop.

This was my first time shopping at the Sandy Springs location. They had a good bit of the fall goodies remaining as well as a lot of Christmas items. I love the cornbread crisps that are seasonal and was able to snag a bag of those. The employees were passing out samples of the toffee coated pretzels and were assisting shoppers with finding items throughout the store.

I love Trader Joe's, especially this time of year as there is an assortment of plants and flowers. I am obsessed with plants so whenever I'm there, I make it my duty to pick up a few flowers for the house. This time, I saw this tropical house plant, can't remember the name but it's beautiful and I had to have it. What was even more special, a cashier pointed out that there were more plants along the window and to be sure to look through those before making my final selection. After I selected the house plant I was near the flowers and saw the purple calla Lillie's that were nice. I usually get a bunch of sunflowers but I wanted to change it up with the season and all. I personally think that this location is the best for fresh flowers. My usual location isn't bad but fresh flowers do tend to sell out quick. This visit was on a Friday afternoon.

I used to go to the Trader Joe's in Athens when I lived farther to the east, but I have recently moved and this Trader Joe's is right next to my place. I was so excited! I love Trader Joe's and finally live close enough to one to go regularly. They have really great prices and soo many items that you can't find anywhere else. As someone who loves French food, I was very happy to see that you can find so many authentic French ingredients here. I have a hard time finding Raclette, Crème fraîche, Comté, Lardons (actually Pancetta and not for me, but for when I'm making Quiche Lorraine for non vegetarians lol), etc. etc. They also have so many ingredients imported from other countries as well + lots of imported wines at a really good price! The only complaint, and it's not really a complaint, is that the store is a little bit small. They pretty much have everything, definitely all of the basics, but occasionally if you need a certain ingredient for a specific recipe like a certain shape of pasta for ex. they might not have every type of noodle available. But I wouldn't say that I run into that issue often enough for it to be a problem! I will definitely be doing 99% of my grocery shopping here now!

Great place to get Christmas flowers and greenery! Wreaths are fresh and flowers are reasonably priced! Ivy is my favorite gift to give especially these have fairy lights! Will come here again again for Christmas gifts!

TJ's is doing an amazing job during the Pandemic to ensure customers & employees alike are being safeguarded. Sanitizing between customers is a priority & per usual inside the store is clean, organized & full of inventory. I'm a stickler on customer service & TJ's exemplifies wonderful service & regardless of location. You'll find smiling, eager employees to assist customers with their bags, carts, last minute item while in checkout & whatever else. Prices are unmatchable.

I've been here about a dozen times over the years so it's about time I get to writing a review for this location... My regular Trader Joe location is the one original one in Roswell, GA https://goo.gl/maps/VtXRUfA8Tw2dpXPH7 It's not the closed but it's pretty easy to get to...straight down 92 ( Holcomb Bridge) The location that I sometimes go to but because of their lack of parking spaces is the one in Marietta, GA https://goo.gl/maps/QtsRbtWA84QdkfDv9 I like this location but sometimes depending on the time of the day or week you visit parking can be a challenge. Not only that people like to drive in the wrong direction in the parking lot...because? they must assume they are the only people on the planet and no one else exists... This store is super busy like the Roswell location and some of the layout is a little different. When I was here the last time they were giving out 3 kind of samples...strawberries, spicy cheese and cashew spread that taste just like cheese. Their free coffee was piping hot and fresh...and they have a seperate thermos for free milk next to the coffee station which my Trader Joe does not have...hmm... I have never had problems finding items here and always friendly cashiers. No complaints...expect for bad drivers...

This is my go to grocery store spot. I love grabbing my simpler canned wines from here, pumpkin pancake mix, & a lot of other Trader Joe's branded items. I even grab my go to vitamins from here. The store is always clean & never to crowded. Definitely a great spot to grab some much needed grocery items. There's not much I dislike about Trader Joe's. My go to store for grocery shopping

This is a nice TJ's. It seems more spacious than the one in Midtown. Not as packed as the one in Midtown.

They never complain about having to take care of so many people without having a chance to breathe. After this ongoing mistake is fixed, long term, I will change my rating to a five; three consecutive weeks, premade meals in the horizontal open refrigerator have been accidentally mislabeled. Tonight, the correct entree wasn't identified on over seven meals. The contents were beef or something else, not Salmon as labeled. The first time I saw this and pointed it out to the acting manager, she dismissed it like it was no big deal because it was in a clear container so customers can see the contents. Since I was dismissed when I brought this up three weeks ago, I have not mentioned it again. I won't. She dismissed my serious concern as it, nor I, matter. There isn't any point in bringing it up again. My hope is the next time I go in, that the meals will be properly labeled. After I see food properly labeled several times at this Fresh Market, I will increase my rating. Great store otherwise.

While I was picking out my snacks, I happened to glance up & saw the Deli menu displaying "Vegetarian & Vegan" Subs. Of course, I was taking advantage of this. Jae, the Deli employee took my order. Now, they do not have Vegan bread, not a worry. I was able to purchase my Vegan & Gluten Free bread for Jae to make my Turkey & Bacon Sub. Here's the awesome topping, I was refunded for my bread purchase...of course still charged for my Sub. The Vegan Sub ingredients include Lightlife SmartBacon strips, Unreal Roasted Turkey slices, Follow Your Heart Smoked Gouda Cheese, Publix's own Ranch Dressing & all the garden fixin's. Of course, I had to get Publix's signature Olive Oil & Vinegar mixture. I got everything except the Ranch Dressing as they were out of it. Jae even took the time to see if there was Ranch Dressing on the shelves. None, yet ok as I make my own from scratch. Jae's service was A+ & well appreciated. She cleaned the prep area & changed out her gloves twice while preparing my Sub. I'll be back for another one before the weekend is out...hello good carbs.

I've been a regular at Publix in metro Atlanta for decades (Atlantic Station location, mainly) and that never happens to me. I told him that this Publix's layout is flipped from what I'm used to. He smiled and said he gets that a lot. I did get turned around at first, but I was able to easily find everything I was looking for, except for the Red Baron Deep Dish Pepperoni Pizza singles (2-packs) which this location and my go-to location were out of at the time. I've also liked to buy them in bulk (12-packs) at Costco. That guy and the two ladies at checkout were very friendly. There were also a couple employees in the produce section that were joking around with each other. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood. This was on a random Tuesday night around 8:30-8:45. Did they all just find out they got unexpected bonuses or something? I had a conversation with the cashiers about the restaurant I'd just eaten at, Kyuramen, in the same shopping center. I brought my leftovers in and had them with me while I shopped. My cashier, Jill, noticed and went out of her way to bag my leftovers for me. How nice of her. This Publix is located in Abernathy Square, the large shopping center at the big intersection of Roswell and Abernathy Roads in Sandy Springs, North Fulton. The reason I came to this location is because it was convenient for me to grab groceries right after dinner. This shopping center was busy, especially when I arrived around 6:30pm, but there was plenty of parking. I ended up settling for a 2-pack of Red Baron Deep Dish Four Cheese Pizza ($4.59) and got a few things I routinely buy at Publix: a large fruit salad ($16.08), Silk Almond Creamer Sweet & Creamy flavor ($5.59), and two cans of Starbucks Premium Instant coffee Medium Roast ($10.79 each). The selection of Starbucks products at this location was better than my normal Publix in Atlantic Station, but I'm pretty sure this Publix is bigger. My wife and I are generally fans of Publix and prefer it over competitors like Kroger and Harris Teeter simply because of Publix's fresher produce and generally higher-quality selection. I also like that you don't have to deal with a membership at Publix because everyone gets the same "automatic" discounts. Publix did launch a membership program, Club Publix, in 2020, but I think its main benefit is digital coupons -- it's not for automatic discounts at the register like Kroger Plus and Harris Teeter VIP, where you have to scan a membership code or enter your phone number. Like the Publix I frequent in Atlantic Station, this Publix also had a police officer stationed inside the front. This one was a Fulton County officer. This location opened in May 1994.

So the store needs some updating. And it wasn't the fastest Publix I have been too. But I genuinely…read moreenjoyed conversation with multiple staff Memeber. My sub was like a typical deli sandwich. Good Pleasant atmosphere.
