Usually this car wash does pretty well, but after this trip, it will be our last... We brought our truck through the wash and when we exited the wash it was still completely covered in suds...On top of that, the wash barely touched the bugs stuck to the front. The antenna was also bent about 15 degrees. Pretty bummed because we love doing business with Tradewind's! The staff was friendly per usual, great gas prices and a free vacuum is always nice! read more

He came out and opened and closed the change box for the water. He did make it work but did not offer to refund the money I had over paid. The brush had more soap coming out of the fittings around the handle than was coming out the brush. I finished the wash when I walked in to tell Ed that there was an issue. I explained it and he turned without a word and walked into the automated car wash. I have been going to this car wash for the last 20 years and this was my last stop. The customer service is deplorable.

Before I resolved it I had a wax glaze all over my car which I had to buff off. A few weeks ago I was going through the area and stopped. The first bay I tried wouldn't work with a credit card and second one I couldn't seem to get to turn off. Ended up with a $12 car wash for what typically would have been around $6.

They don't replace a bunch of things that don't need it. I recently (this fall) squired a new car and needed tires on it. When I went to Sullivan's in Brewer for tires I asked them to look it over. Sullivan's returned with a 2300.00 quote (not including the tires). I was discouraged and figured I should start doing some repairs over time, and brought it to mikes for its first repair. They called me at 1 pm that day, all fixed for less than 200.00. They also knew it was a new to me car but they didn't take advantage and only fixed what needed it. Don't expect a lot of phone conversation, these guys work. But leave them the car with a list of things and expect it to get done quickly without breaking you. If you want a car wash and a lot of side talk, go spend the extra 1000.00 at a dealership.

There were numerous areas of the car left completely untouched, like door jams and sills, lower body panels, windows were not rolled down and cleaned along the edges, front trunk had more dirt in there than when I bought it in because of pressure washing and not cleaning it up and engine bay was never even opened. burned through headlight protection film, leaving it blistered. Some slick slippery amor-all type product was used on a full leather interior that took me a couple of days to wipe down and retreat it with a real leather cleaner and conditioner. One button on the stereo missing and the clincher, excessive force or too much product sprayed on the heat/ac control screen which is now missing pixels. This place is not qualified to work on fine cars, best they stick with pickup trucks(which seem to be the main clientele) and SUVs. Not recommended for fine automobiles. The owner or manager Mustapha said he would make it right but never followed up.
