The nurse came out and put my mom's catheter on wrong and it came out in the middle of the night. Because of this the next morning my mom was wet with urine and I had to take her into urgent care to have the catheter put on PROPERLY - she has had no problems since then with the catheter. All my family felt the nurses were very rude and condescending. Our relationship started out good but quickly deteriorated when it was apparent that we were not going to be working TOGETHER as a team to HELP MY MOM. Unfortuanlty, we had to report the nurse to the appropriate governing bodies for investigation. I truly regret having to take such actions but felt it was necessary in this case. Another nurse was unable to give my mom, who is 110lbs, a shower without help. While IHSS worker and other nurses from other agencies are able to shower her just fine. They miss scheduled appointments regularly. Always make excuses of why the were unable to keep their word. After meeting with nurse Yvette to set up a plan for my mom while I was out of town, she called the cops in bad faith, to report neglect a few days later. Thankfully, after speaking with the officers they sided with me, affirming there was absolutely ZERO NEGLECT, due to everything being thoughtfully planned out and prepared for my mom. There are other companies that provide solid care and work well with families. This is NOT one of them.
