After completion, she started on behind the wheel training with Rob. He was amazing! She enjoyed the training with him. He always came to the door to pick her up and drop her off after their session. She learned so much from him and he was very encouraging and patient. My daughter passed her drive test on the first try, exactly 6 months and 1 day after getting her permit! I researched a ton of places , but, out of all of them, 5-0 Driving School was next level in so many areas and I was happy to make the investment. An American made company with fortitude and moral high ground. It was comforting to know my kids were going to be taught by people with good character and similar views than us! And to top it off, all of the instructors are either current or prior Law Enforcement or First Responders. Knowing my kids were receiving education about driver's safety and learning the rules of the road firsthand from the people who enforce these rules, was comforting to say the least. Everyone I spoke to was kind and courteous and answered all the questions I had. My boys absolutely loved their stylish fleet and thought is was cool to practice driving in new, updated vehicles. I really liked that students attend math (2hrs) and English (2hrs) classes 2x a week where they learn new material with teachers and do projects in class. They also have a "lab" time dedicated to ask for help with classwork, take tests, or a quiet place to get work done and get ahead. They will give certain students a "Presidents Award" for academic achievement. They also have Pizza Parties for those students who excelled during the school year. If your student is on time and turns in all work weekly there are also small rewards. This helped keep my son engaged. They want all students to achieve so making up work is encouraged. I don't think we'll be doing High School here as there is very limited electives to take and we're looking for something where they offer A-G courses or geared towards a career pathway with dual college credits. But we loved our 3 years here for middle school!!

They also seem a bit overwhelmed, so you may not get as thorough an explanation as you need unless you press the issue. I'm not sure how it works for the older grades, but the younger kids have class for 2.5 hours a week together and then do the rest of the work at home with mom or dad. This is great if you're organized and have space to properly teach them, but if you're not into it, your kid is going to suffer. We have since transitioned into public school and my son is thriving.
