When I hired an attorney to supposedly go to court with them. All you can do is have a fake hearing over the phone with a magistrate who apparently rules always in the favor of the government although, as far as I know, I never even got a ruling, yet I get a message every month to give them money after the initial two year notice. Even the attorney didn't understand anything happening. I don't understand how you can have a hearing and never get a verdict, and how they can want the money when a hearing is supposedly pending or whatever they call it. I don't understand anything happening and not a single person there can help you, even if you wait on the phone for three hours to talk someone and they still can't help you and some of them even sympathize with you but even they can't help. All they do is run around in circles never help you enter the workforce, and now all I do is work, and I don't have time to run in these circles with these people. No surprise from Haley and this corrupt government. I've been working since I was 14 paying into unemployment, my jobs were shut down because of the state, and the state they want to finally screw me over, not to mention I was forced to get a stupid Covid vaccine just to go to work. Typical Massachusetts government screws the working person. They should be ashamed of themselves, their department, the paycheck they receive every week, stealing our tax money to be incompetent thieves. I must confess two of my uncles were Massachusetts State Troopers, which is another great group of tough cops. But the Boston Police were awesome as they used a robot, flashbangs, and a thermal camera to apprehend second Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev . The Police Chief recounted in a press conference shortly afterward just how they got the bleeding guy hiding in a Watertown backyard boat. Additionally, the Police made great use of their Twitter feed by communicating with the public about exactly what was going on. The city of Boston should be very proud of their 5 STAR YELP Boston Police Dept.

I would have been fine with the rule explanation but for the fact that while she did this, with her back to the bus, two men boarded, carrying a HUGE, BOXED, FLAT SCREEN TV, one man on each end. I tried repeatedly to draw her attention to this and she refused to turn around! She just smiled, shook her head and said, "I don't see anything!" Arrogance, self importance, and rule enforcement when and as she wanted to. Hope she gets fired with an attitude like that. Updated income information to get a correction on my Medicare premiums based on their new letter on…read morepremium costs. Met with representative at the Quincy office.They corrected it incorrectly. I anticipated this potential error in our face to face meeting and they told me to call Medicare if that happened. Medicare was called and they referred me back to social security recommending I talk with a supervisor and make a 3 way call with SS and Medicare.. When I called SS again about the error in their recent letter on premium costs, they informed me a new letter is "coming and in the system that I have not received yet" that will give me a new premium amount that is lower. 4 hours in the office and 1 hour on the phone and I am told "its in the mail". They open files, generate 4 page letters every time, are given copies of 1040 that they then do not have when they "look back", so they contradict their own letters with new letters based on old information. Keep track carefully, keep your "letters" on changes and watch carefully when there are published increases in Medicare costs and Social Security increases, because the whole system gets confusing and errors are made.

There's a gate welcoming you into the area and quite a few other other Chinese inspired decorations in the area. I loved a lot of the murals and street art that lines the streets. There also seems to be a few places to sit and hang out if you'd like. There are quite a few stores and the Chinatown signature produce lining the streets. I love seeing people shop and pick their perfect veggies. If you get the chance, walk through Chinatown. It's a vibe.

While the entrance gate is beautiful and makes a great first impression, I have to admit that once we walked farther into the neighborhood, we were disappointed. Our biggest concern was cleanliness. Many of the streets and sidewalks appeared dirty and, in some areas, bordering on filthy. A neighborhood with so much history, culture, and tourism deserves better maintenance. Regular street sweeping, power washing, and general upkeep would make a tremendous difference in how the area is experienced by both visitors and the people who live and work there. Just a short distance away, the North End is noticeably cleaner and feels much more inviting, and places like Quincy Market have a much more vibrant atmosphere. Boston's Chinatown has tremendous potential, but during our visit it felt worn down rather than welcoming. I truly hope the city and local stakeholders continue investing in the neighborhood because it has the history, culture, and character to be a destination that's every bit as memorable as the other Chinatowns I've visited.

Since it's just a local version of the larger system, you can look for ANY of the books from any of the branches and they'll send them strait to this location for you to pick up. You can also ask about how to reference and find books because the librarians are really friendly. I wonder how many people really use this service in East Boston? It's open daily and while it may take some time for the books you want to arrive, there's always something you can pick up in the meantime.
