When I needed a co-signer who was out of town, he went above and beyond to get the paperwork across the country for a signature. Thomas spent lots of time ensuring I knew everything there was to know about trailers before letting me drive off the lot. Purchased a trailer in January of 2022 from trailers plus in Leeds, Al. CarryOn brand 7x14 enclosed. While using the trailer well within the rated capacity I experienced complete brake failure and frame damage from the axle contacting the frame. An email and pictures were sent to the general and assistant store manager explaining what was going on with the structural damage and lack of trailer brakes. The manager then acknowledges the structural frame damage and lack of brakes, THEN ASK ME TO HOOK IT TO MY PERSONAL VEHICLE AND HAUL IT TO THEIR LOCATION OVER AN HOUR AWAY. The manager then tells me that CarryOn and TrailerPlus will no longer honor my warranty if I don't bring it to them soon enough. I expressed my concerns with hauling it to them. They said tough luck. I have now purchased the parts and steel to reconfigure the suspension and reinforce the damaged frame. read more
