You can tell the new management is putting in effort with updates, and it's noticed and appreciated. The office staff are always prompt and kind, which makes a big difference. My only complaint is a big one: the laundry room. First, the AC never works, so during the summer it's honestly unbearable. Second, there are 8 washers and 8 dryers, but multiple machines are often out of order. Some washers won't drain, and some dryers don't dry properly. And third, despite those issues, the prices keep going up. It's now $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry. That's $5 per load, which is pretty steep, especially for families. When I first moved in, it was $1.50 each. Since July 2025, I've already loaded $200 into my laundry account. That's less than a year, and it adds up fast. Living here is easy and comfortable overall, but the laundry situation is frustrating enough that you might be better off going to a laundromat.

The Jaxon Apartments are a complete…read morescam, and their management is the worst I have ever encountered. * They provided a lease with multiple errors, admitted their mistakes, and STILL tried to force me to pay incorrect rent amounts. * The rent amount in my portal does not even match what they are trying to charge me on a Notice to Vacate! * When I called them out on their shady business practices, they retaliated by trying to evict me-without a valid lease on file! * They ignore emails, lie about charges, and try to intimidate tenants into paying fees that don't even make sense. I have already filed a small claims lawsuit against them and renorted them to the BBB. If you are thinking about moving here, DON'T. I will not stop fighting until this management team is held accountable for how they treat tenants.

When I first contacted GCA they had no pre-furnished units already available due to demand, so they quicky negotiated with several properties for available units and when I picked one, they completely furnished it in 2 days. One suggestion: clarify prior to signing up just what you'll get. I was expecting a king-size bed but was provided with a queen-size. No worries though - I asked GCA to swap out and in 2 days had a king-size bed in place. $50 delivery charge, nothing extra per night/month. The king bed seemed a little better than the queen was, but neither was top-notch in comfort. Otherwise all other furnishings were good quality and very clean. Accessories were about as complete as one would want for a short-term lease (no blender but I bet they would have provided one if I'd asked). I'll be recommending GCA to others at my company.

I'm going to I had a small work order that needed to be fixed such as a clogged shower and sink. But the maintenance team came in minutes after placing my work order in. As an eligible family member of an active-duty service member, I was covered under SCRA protections when we received military orders requiring relocation. I followed the proper process to terminate our lease early, providing written notice along with a copy of the official orders within the required timeframe. Despite this, management refused to honor the law. They attempted to charge early termination fees. What's most concerning is that this didn't appear to be a simple misunderstanding--it was a repeated refusal to acknowledge federal law. This created unnecessary stress during an already challenging military relocation. The SCRA exists to protect service members and their families in exactly these situations. Property management companies--especially those serving military communities--should be fully aware of these obligations. Failing to follow them is not just poor customer service, it's unacceptable and potentially unlawful. If you are part of a military family considering living here, I strongly recommend getting everything in writing and being prepared to advocate for your rights. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this complex.
