That was me before we switched away from KidTherapy and to another PT. My daughter saw Jenny for PT about 3 times before we switched. The front desk staff are nice, but Jenny started our sessions 5-10 minutes late all 3x (which is significant when the session is only 30 minutes). She would oftentimes be rushing through the front door when we were in the lobby as her first patient for the day. She was a lovely person, but now it angers me to realize how my daughter was not receiving proper guidance & care. During our evaluation she took zero notes; just drew little drawings to try to show me what exercises to do at home. The evaluation at the other office had a full rubric/the PT took notes on her computer, etc. Multiple times Jenny would tell me "You should be a PT!" when I would share my observations of my daughter's gross motor skills. And I kept thinking "I'm only doing this because she's not receiving the guidance that she needs." I would leave appointments feeling more overwhelmed and had more questions than I arrived having. Jenny would frequently ask me to remind her what we did last time or what exercises we were working on; things that should have been recorded by the professional we were paying for the session. Overall, it was not a professional experience and I was right to trust my gut and try a different therapy center, because the difference has been night and day. My daughter has made more progress elsewhere in 1 session than she did in 3 sessions over 1.5 months at KidTherapy.

This was our first time navigating medical treatment for one of our kids, and we trusted that we were in good hands. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. From the outset, appointments were a challenge, taking months to schedule. When we finally met with Dr. Smart, it was immediately clear that she did not even pretend to care about our child's well-being. The level of indifference was shocking. The rest of the staff reflected the same unprofessionalism, making what should have been a supportive environment feel stressful and unwelcoming. To make matters worse, we found out through our own research that many standard tests and procedures were not even considered during our visits. Eventually, we made the decision to seek care elsewhere, thinking it couldn't possibly be worse. The difference was staggering - night and day doesn't even begin to describe it. The level of care and attention our child received at another facility put Dell Children's ENT in a harsh light. They are clearly more concerned with their bottom line than with providing the quality care that families deserve. The staff at Dell Children's is overworked, the service is consistently behind schedule, and the overall experience is deplorable. They should be referring patients to other facilities that can provide the level of care needed, rather than continuing to push families through a broken system. Do not take your child here. Take them literally anywhere else. Update: Dell Children's ENT put in an order for us to get an MRI. They told us that it would be sedated because our daughter was only 4. They even suggested things like taking her tonsils out because she would already be sedated. When we arrived, the order was not for a sedated MRI. The results of the MRI were not usable, because she just turned 4. Despite the doctor putting in an incorrect order to radiology, Dell Children's sent us a bill for over 3,000 for the unusable MRI. Unbelievable.

The procedure itself was fine, but I was discharged without the required dark protective sunglasses. When I mentioned this to a staff member named Pam the next morning, she cut me off and said, "That's not true." Her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. When I returned on October 20 for my left-eye surgery, things got worse. After being prepped and placed on IV, I was left completely unattended for over an hour -- no updates, no check-ins. The gel on my eye dried out, and when I finally asked about the delay, I was told it would be "another 30 minutes." I left frustrated, hungry, and uncomfortable. This clinic badly needs retraining in empathy, communication, and patient care. I will never return or recommend them to anyone.

On the first level during the morning, there is plenty of 2-hour parking spaces. As a friend/family member, you're required to stay in the clean and quiet waiting room as you enter the Center, but the patient first has to check-in at Suite 110 next door. My friend was out in two minutes. The very happy and calming staff at TSC greeted us and made us feel relaxed. One came around with a bowl of snacks for those who are waiting, but normally snacks are upon request. Amenities include water, tea, coffee with plenty of different flavored creamers, padded seating, umbrellas, tv, magazines and tissues. They have wheelchairs for patients that need it. After surgery, you have to get your car from the garage and drive down the right of the building and meet your patient. Overall, I was happy with my experience and how they treated my friend. Everybody, I mean everybody, was so accommodating and friendly.

My daughter is a young mother but the disrespect lately is totally uncalled for. She is also discussing my granddaughters services with the director of the center! They need a HIPPA and positive communication training with staff. The only time she had to cancel services was due to her child having the flu and her running late 10 minutes due to car issues. Below you will find a text message to my daughter. Today my daughter was only taking her to preschool for her speech and she receives this text message from her at 1:28pm. Apparently she had already spoken with the director of the school and told she was absent. All communication should start with my daughter first.

Erin is very sweet with children and kiddo enjoyed the speech therapy. She had a few tips that stuck and my little one's enunciation - which wasn't horrible, but was a bit behind peers - did improve during that time. At the end of six months, based on feedback from kiddo's teacher and some other educational figures, as well as my /grandparents/coparent's perception of moderate improvement, we decided to close out the therapy sessions. Erin looked a bit disappointed when I told her the final date, but was professional enough. She insisted that she would "re-assess" progress during that day's session, instead of going over the usual consonant sounds. She sold it a bit - kept talking about it - and I agreed, thinking it was harmless enough to have a written record of progress. The initial assessment at our first visit had been priced the same as the ensuing therapy sessions, so I wasn't worried about pricing. Erin went over her "re-assessment" of kiddo upon our return. My initial perception was that she showed the need for speech therapy as more extreme than assessed at our first visit. There was a minimal nod in one segment to minor progress. There were multiple areas where the report seemed to show regression. It was a bit alarming and my first thought was that she was far less happy about our quitting than she had expressed. Thinking I might not remember the initial assessment accurately, I compared the two reports when I arrived home. My initial instinct was correct. The second surprise arrived a month or two later. A bill (despite our having paid the usual co-pay at the visit) for THREE TIMES the co-pay. Almost $200. Because Tesoros had billed insurance differently, this "re-assessment" had been assessed differently in connection with our deductible and the insurance wouldn't pay. Calls to Tesoros (it took a week of daily calls to get a person on the line) resulted in a circular explanation of how they bill re-assessments. They couldn't explain why it would *need* to be done on a child's next-to-last visit, or why it was billed at a higher rate and filed with insurance differently than the initial assessment. After months of going back and forth with them, I've reported them to my insurance company's fraud team, paid the bill to avoid a credit report ding, and am reviewing them here. It's left us with a very sour impression of what was, otherwise, quite a harmless and neutral experience.
