More folks trickled in while we enjoyed our first drinks, and by midnight the whole room was lively. We appreciated the bartender's attention when it wasn't busy. He walked us through the menu, making recommendations and steering me away from an allergen (pineapple). The menu includes a page of craft cocktails for $16 each, which seems reasonable since the place is rather classy and they use quality ingredients. We ended up trying several menu items, then asked the bartender what he really likes to make; we ended up with a special old-fashioned and the best margarita I've ever tasted. We were also given a small tray of snacks--a few nuts, olives, and chips--which I believe was complimentary. Even when it got busy later, the staff kept up and took care of everyone. The atmosphere is nice but welcoming; we were dressed casually after a day of sightseeing but didn't feel out of place. We found street parking easily (around the corner on Bryn Mawr). The kids had a blast throwing paint on their canvases and each other, and the adults did the same, but mainly painted. After we were done, whoever was doing the paint gun wars stayed in, and boy did they paint themselves green. We went to wash up and man, we all had paint from head to toe, and hair! After we washed up, we ended our time with a refreshing Agua Fresca, paletas, churros, and chips. I highly recommend going to Chatter Paint. We had a blast! A bit crammed where the catering set up is and only single file fit through the area...more like a corridor. It's in the heart of Old Town so I'd say the best part is the location, location, location! I was expecting an upscale wedding reception(because I was told to dress up) but it's more suitable for a semi-formal at best. When we arrived, the chairs were uncovered and the tablecloths had deep creases in them. Be aware that the basic package doesn't include the chair covers (even if you were told it does!) and includes their least-expensive tablecloths. Despite this, the manager on site the day of our event very kindly put covers on the chairs and swapped the tablecloths out. We had no problems with the venue or the staff until the manager left. Once she was no longer present, the staff began clearing tables, not just of trash from dinner, but also by throwing away wedding favors, florals, and other decor we had out. Many of our guests began leaving because they thought the event was over, even though it still had 2 1/2 hours to go. We ended up leaving early, ourselves, because we had no guests left! We also pre-paid for some wine vouchers for our cash bar. The bartender requested that we hand out the vouchers, so we put a friend in charge of them. At the end of the night, we still had 20 vouchers left. The bartender charged our guests full price for glasses of wine if they didn't have a voucher; this was after asking us to hand out the vouchers rather than keep them at the bar for free use by the guests. We feel double-charged for those drinks, and were offered no means of making this right, since it isn't the bartender's job to keep track of the vouchers that were pre-paid for. We frustratingly overpaid by $100 for wine that the bartender can now re-sell at another time. Overall, the management is phenomenal, and our experience was a good one. The venue is beautiful, and I'd highly recommend a walkthrough for anyone interested. Just some suggestions: make sure everything you're promised is written out to the letter on the invoice, don't have an evening event here, where the manager might be clocking out partway through, and go with a strictly cash or strictly open bar, DO NOT buy the vouchers, because they're not afraid to double-dip for the drinks that are already covered by those.

Not only is it beautiful, but the rooms are great!! Spacious and comfortable and from my experience very well maintained. And they are dog friendly. One other thing to know is that in the morning they have a complementary coffee bar and there is also valet parking. Another thing that I like about this hotel is they have pretty art and pottery displayed throughout. Other things that I like about this hotel is it has a fabulous roof top restaurant with fire pits so you can sit sit outside and dine and look at pretty city lights! At sunset you would be able to see this mountain ranges! Very beautiful and romantic! The night that we dined here was a limited menu, which I do not know if that's always the case or if it was just particular night. What we did have for dinner was very satisfying to us. Also, if you did not want to eat at the hotel right across the street is a food court called Sawmill Market, which has a variety of food choices not only for dinner but for breakfast and some delicious coffees. There's also another restaurant across the street in case you didn't want to dine at the hotel. All are walking distance....so very convenient if you're just passing through. When I took my puppy out for a walk around the neighborhood I found some really pretty photo moments, which I have shared here.

For all the money they make from the Office you'd think it be in better shape. & don't even want to get started on the POS carts they have. They will start beeping and lock up on the first cut, not even the rough. Constantly locking up in the cart path. I know no one there could give a shit less but I won't be playing here again.
