It is a…read moregreat oportunity to taste outstanding food and share a luxurious experience with someone special. However, Prairie Star is not a pretecious location so casual attire is fine. The Prairie Star's location has a fabulous view of the Sandia Mountains. We watched storms move across the horizon through out our meal. Easily want to spend time relaxing and watching the world go by. Our arrival timing was perfect for immediate seating, definitely want reservations. There are covered parking places available in the lot. The staff is well practiced and take care of you throughout the meal. The meal was fabulous. The chef put together a great combination of plates. The appetizer was a soup or salad. Both were excellent and displayed unique touches to enhance the flavors, perfect vinaigrette on the salad. For the main course, I had the sirloin steak, summer vegetables and black beans. The steak was extra tender and a flavorful as a ribeye. The pureed beans acted as a sauce to the steak. The meal also included a bottle of wine. (a white or a red) The red was great with the entire meal. Not quite sure how the white would have stood up to the beef or cioppino. The warm chocolate cake was a fine finish to the meal. The fresh fruit added refreshing flavors, neither too bitter nor too sweet.

We had a wonderful view and were seated far enough away from the quincera party that the noise didn't impact us. Our food was great, I enjoyed the calemari and my dish, as did my husband. Our waitress was alright, but admitedly the table next to ours had a waitress that seemed to go above and beyond for her customers and knowledge of the menu. She could have trained other staff. The biggest reason for the downvote was a restroom experience. I waslked into the restroom and noticed the smell was unpleasant and the ADA stall was clogged. I went to the smaller one, but as I sat, I heard gurggling. The toliets backed up as did the drains very quickly. I managed to get out of there as fast as possible, but still got dirty feces waste all over my shoes. I immedately notified the hostess and my husdband asked for the check. Between the time this happend and we walked out the door, the sewage was seeping out the bathrooms with no signs in place and no seeming rush to correct this issue. The smell was overwhemling and I can only assuem that many others noticed. A sewage issue means the kitchen also cannot wash dishes or sanatize properly. The resturant should have notified custumers and the party, while allowing poeple to take their food home. This unfortante incident caused our night to go arry.

We were rushing down the hall in our bathing suits and tried to badge in at 11:01, but the card had already been deactivated. I told the gentleman at the front desk and he was unmoved. Said there was absolutely no way he could allow us into the pool, as it was after checkout time -- by two minutes. Sorry Charlie, hope you enjoyed your stay, now get out! I get it, rules are rules, but I was astonished he wasn't willing to let the kids swim for a bit before we left. A nice empathetic guest let us in and the kids swam for a bit, until this guy comes in and threatens to call security! This place is a lovely looking ghost town. The parking lot is empty. They have nothing but slots. No poker. Very disappointed. Booked the Sandia Resort and Casino up the road the following night, which was AMAZING. We had a bad experience. If it weren't for that incident, I would have given them at least 4 stars. You may have a wonderful visit, as long as nothing like this happens to you.

**Restaurant Review: A Taste of India, Farmington, New Mexico**…read more Walking into A Taste of India in Farmington, New Mexico, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting ambiance of the restaurant. The rich aromas wafting through the air hinted at the delightful culinary experience that awaited me. As a walk-in customer, I was greeted promptly and seated without delay. After scanning the menu, I decided to try the Butter Chicken and Coconut Chicken, both served with fluffy rice. The Butter Chicken turned out to be a fantastic choice--its creamy tomato sauce coated the perfectly cooked chicken in the most delicious way. Each bite was a comforting blend of spices that left me wanting more. Equally impressive was the Coconut Chicken. The way the coconut milk melded with flavorful spices created a dish that felt both exotic and comforting. Paired with the rice, it was a satisfying combination that made my taste buds dance. I also couldn't resist ordering the Fresh Garlic Naan, which was freshly baked and had a wonderful garlicky aroma. It was the perfect complement to the rich sauces from the main dishes, making it hard to resist going back for more. My server, Sandy, was a highlight of the experience. He was friendly and attentive, helping me navigate the menu and customize my meal. His recommendations were spot on, and his enthusiasm for the food made my visit even more enjoyable. To my surprise, he treated me to some rice pudding for dessert. It was the ideal sweet ending--creamy and light, perfectly wrapping up my meal. Overall, A Taste of India exceeded my expectations. With its delicious food, inviting atmosphere, and attentive service, it's a gem worth visiting. I left with a satisfied palate and a desire to return soon for another delightful experience.

Even worse, management couldn't be bothered to come address it in the moment and instead doubled down afterward without hearing both sides. This also wasn't the first issue with that bartender, which makes it pretty clear nothing is being managed the way it should be. At a certain point, it's not a staff problem--it's a leadership problem. Plenty of better places in Rio Rancho that actually know how to treat people.

Can I get a witness? Having that written, the location you're practicing said frustration that you hope evolves into fun has a lot to do with your overall experience. Can I get another witness? Amen! This is an absolutely beautiful course! It's set up very well and very challenging. However, what sets them apart from other higher end courses is the staff! Seriously, from the nice young girls who greet you upon arrival and set your bags on a cart for you, to the pros in the shop, all the nicest folk you'll most likely encounter in your day. I'd especially like to acknowledge golf pro Allen for being extra nice! He and other pros are the foundation upon future patronage of a particular golf course. And despite the fact that this is a high end course, there is no air of snobbery. There is no dismissive attitudes from any of the staff! Price wise? Sure, a bit more expensive than a muni, but obviously you get what you pay for, right? If you're a beginner like my daughter and I, or an old pro who has been whackin' balls for decades, you'll still be treated great here and hopefully love every minute of your day. Unless of course your frustrations get the better of you. Just remember, it's still just a game! And always remember the factual saying: a bad day on the golf course beats a good day at work every time! Cheers!
