Starting with a polyjuice potion antidote (tea infused lemonade), having a wide selection of themed teas in addition to their normal large selection, and then the tea tower itself was filled with a flavorful assortment of savory and sweet items. To top it all off the staff gets paid a proper wage so tipping is optional (huge props to the ownership for this!). Not to mention, the staff is absolutely delightful to interact with, and their selection of ala carte treats and even the afternoon tea itself was incredibly reasonably priced. Their tea menu was also pretty extensive, and had something even for picky me. Also wanted to make sure I point out that Sweet Tease doesn't require tipping, which (hopefully) means they pay their staff fairly. I think that's worth a shout-out considering it's one of a handful of places I've been to that have made this statement. Overall a good time! The cafe had Italian vibes with Mediterranean artwork, lemon decor, and Italian pastries. The place was not just a coffeeshop, but offered a full menu of upscale takes on traditional brunch items. Our server was very sweet and also extremely diligent, as she was able to manage the continuous influx of diners and to pitch in to help her colleagues at the counter without missing a beat. I started with an Almond Milk Cappuccino, which was excellent! The coffee was rich and flavorful, and they were able to get a fluffy foam from the non-dairy milk. I ordered the Avocado Toast as my main dish and was similarly blown away. Two thick slices of artisan, multigrain bread were covered with smashed avocado, roasted tomatoes, red pepper flakes, and habanero bacon jam. The sweet, smoky, fiery jelly was such an unique addition that really just made sense. I also asked for a fried egg to be placed on top, and I loved that it was perfectly cooked to a golden brown with only the yolk being runny. It was really one of the best avocado toasts I had ever had! There was a small cup of fresh grapes, strawberries, and blueberries included for a perfect little treat. My companion found his four buttermilk pancakes nice and fluffy, though felt the batter could have used a bit more flavor. He enjoyed his crispy bacon, however. From the professional, welcoming service to the delicious food, I was thrilled with our breakfast meal at Caffe Di Famiglia. I would recommend it for food or even just a quick coffee to-go.
