My go-to order is the cheesy omelet and we'll usually split an order of pancakes or waffles. Definitely check out their fall specials, I'm still dreaming of their pumpkin cheesecake waffles! Looked up a place for breakfast on Yelp and found Meemom's. We loved the place. It is in a small strip shopping center. I also had the "spuds" which look like potato chips but are not fried. They are seasoned with paprika and some other spices. I thought they were good but a little too much paprika for me. It's been a while since we came here. I've been wanting to come here for a while and we finally did. We were immediately seated after arriving. We ordered the following: Daughter had the Chorizo me Crazy, which is chorizo & pico de Gallo cooked in a chipotle cream sauce, served over 2 eggs scrambled and toasted sourdough. It's also topped with half an avocado and cilantro. She also got a side of spuds, which were homemade chips. Daughter thought it was extremely flavorful and delicious. She also wished that it was a bigger plate so that she could enjoy it longer. LOL. Next, Hubs had the Veggie omelette, which is peppers , onions, tomatoes and portobellos. He also got a side of sourdough bread and homemade chips. He said that he omelette was ok and wished it was a little fluffier but the order was pretty healthy. He also said that the spuds were unique and crispy and that it's a great idea. Lastly, I had the waffle, was garnished with fresh berries and powdered sugar. I also added a banana to it and thought that this was delicious. The waffle was nice and crispy. Service was quick and friendly. Our server was training someone, so we had 2 servers, which was great. Wow! I love when you find a place in a shopping center that you'd never think to go to until you searched for a place nearby on YELP. The reviews are definitely correct. It's funny how when places are only open til 3, you know that it has to be great. First off, I was seated and greeted right away. The server was so friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. She told me about the drink special and the specials on the table. I asked for her opinion of the bananas foster French toast or banana bread French toast. This has become one of our favorite place for brunch (the other one is the Chat & Nibbles). We have been here twice now and we love the fresh squeezed orange juice. The French toasts are great. We tried The McMeemom's last time and it looks like a waffle but there's egg and waffle inside (very creative). The breakfast bowls have a good combination of ingredients and very flavorful. The apple pie French toast was equally delicious and loaded with fresh apples and creamy mascarpone. Come hungry because the portions are generous! Was down the shore for a wedding and decided to pop in here for a quick breakfast before getting ready. Although Meemoms is known for their french toast, I opted for a more savory breakfast. I ordered a coffee to drink and the Bandito Breakfast Wrap to eat. My waiter was super nice and explained what their famous 'spuds' were (their take on potato chips covered in seasoning), he recommended I get those as my side if I've never had them before, so I did. The wrap was pretty hefty in size and gooey with cheese coming out--just what I was looking for. The spuds were okay--they came all stuck together, some cooked more than others and some way more seasoned than the rest. Although the wrap looked very good, I felt it was missing something--I asked for an extra side of their salsa verde to dip but my waiter was very busy and he must have forgot. I have been wanting to bring my Mother-In-Law to Meemom's for years-- like YEARS!! and our calendars, Universe and stars never aligned to make it happen, WELL I can happily say a few weeks ago, Hubby and I picked her up to go to breakfast before heading to grocery shop--(because no one should ever food shop hungry-EVUR). She looked over the menu and her eyes lit up, you know that happy feeling when you see so many good things on a menu, then.... you can't decide.. yep, that was my MIL. She ordered the Denver omelette and declared it fantastic!! and she ate almost everything on her plate- and only stopped because she decided that my order of the Taylor ham loaded hash was all hers LOL. Hubby got the Campfire French Toast and I of course ordered my favorite Bananas Foster French Toast. I am so happy she loved it here and I can say 1000% that I have never experienced the issues that some DIL and MIL experience. I am blessed and so very lucky that I was embraced with nothing but love and welcoming by her and my FIL, when I married their son, over 20 years ago. This place is located within a strip mall and once you walk through the doors you are invited by cozy farmhouse decor and a very friendly staff. I ordered The Farmhouse, which is one of their several breakfast bowls. It was very hearty and filling! The creamy mariachi sauce was a very nice touch. I also ordered a side of turkey bacon and it was definitely a high quality cut. My mom ordered their turkey pesto panini, and she absolutely loved it. This is such a cute breakfast and brunch spot. Atmosphere: Meemom's is located in a large shopping center. When my GPS said: "turn here," I was actually fairly surprised. Why? Was it really there? Luckily it was easy to find, nearly on the end. Coffee: The coffee tasted great, but I was never asked if I wanted refills. Food: Meemom's has a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options. They aren't open for dinner so you won't find that. They have plenty of fun and decadent food options. I decided to with the veggie wrap with a side salad. I haven't had a veggie anything in a while, and it sounded good. Plus eating out for a week, I wanted something slightly healthy. The veggie wrap with avocado, sautéed portobello mushrooms, roasted red peppers, spinach, tomatoes & mariachi sauce all wrapped up in a warm whole wheat tortilla. I was happy with my selection, and I would order it again. Service: The waiter at Meemom's was friendly, but it took a while for food to come out, and we never got refills for our drinks.
