Got a 90-minute massage with Ted this week. I was having a back issue from a fall, went to the gym after and aggravated it. Ted worked the trouble area perfectly. I sat up and could tell I had relief. The next day I went to my Chiropractor, and he worked out the structural issues, and said getting the massage prior to the adjustment was so beneficial. Ted will be my go-to guy, and I like that he explains the muscle areas that need work and how each group effects the others. I am so not knowledgeable, and I don't mind admitting it. But he helped me understand what would benefit will me going forward to work out without hurting myself. It's nice to be able to have confidence in someone that way. He doesn't try to be a trainer, just told me what he could tell was going on with me. So helpful. read more

After a month of travel, I was in desperate need of a relaxing massage. I found Tranquil Spa on Google and was able to get a last minute appointment. I went in for a deep tissue massage with Amanda. There was plenty of parking and the office was bright and clean. They had all kinds of wellness products available for purchase. They also have complimentary fruit infused water which was a great touch. The massage space was very comfortable and relaxing with beautiful lighting and music. My masseuse Amanda was amazing. I've never had a deep tissue massage that made me feel energized. It wasn't painful at all like I'm usually use to. I left feeling like I could go for a morning run. Booked an appt. weeks ago for a spa package. Got a text today stating that "Amber was not licensed. Please call to reschedule." I called to see what was going on, they told me I could come in for just a facial, I explained this was a birthday gift my husband booked in advance weeks ago and I was not coming in for 1/4 of the package. I asked them what the solution was and they offered to reschedule me 35 days later for their next Saturday opening! Totally unprofessional to cancel on a patient less than 24 hours beforehand in a text and have no solution to rectify the situation. I understand emergencies happen but booking appointments with a novice massage therapist hoping they'll be licensed by then is not an emergency, it's poor management. Stay away! ETA: I received a call from owner in regards to my review. No accountability in regards to the situation. Instead she attempted to gaslight me by telling me they cancelled multiple sessions last minute and I was the only one upset. I explained I paid for childcare, told my job I wasn't available for on-call demands during slated time, and this was not an emergency it was simply poor management and unprofessionalism. Shortly after got an automated text saying Appt. Cancelled. No Charges will Occur. Client is No Longer welcome in the Spa. Don't worry! No intention of ever going or recommending this place to anyone. read more

On Vacation had an amazing massage with Donna, very impressed with her skills. As a therapist myself I find it hard to find quality work. Pressure was good, massage detail was right on. Ashley is a truly gifted professional. She is incredibly knowledgeable and seems to really care about your well being. I was referred to Ashley by a mutual acquaintance a few months ago due to some seriously sore muscles and rock hard thighs and tight IT bands. I was basically walking around with a ton of little knots in my thighs - like a box of rocks. Ashley's knowledge of various massage techniques enabled her to concentrate on specific muscle groups as well as work on my body as a whole to loosen up and finally rid me of the the thigh rocks and tight muscles. I had a great experience at this spa, booking was easy and convenient. The ladies were very nice. Upon my arrival I was a little overwhelmed but Shaa had a very calming energy which helped me to relax. I initially wanted to have a dermal planing facial but I have autoimmune issues and take a lot of meds including prednisone (steroids) which has done a number on my skin. After a thorough examination of my face during our consultation Shaa gave me her honest advise and let me know that at this time I was not a candidate for that service (I loved her honesty and professionalism especially because she was being conscious of my health and wellness and not just trying to sell or up sell me) after my skin consultation we decided a hydrating facial is what my skin needed and we began. I've been going to Tranquil Radiance since it opened--Ashley is awesome! I really messed up my shoulder and back, and Ashley couldn't see me, but I was able to get an appointment with Donna. We spent a few minutes talking about what was going on with me, then she spent the next 90 minutes taking all the pain away! I could raise my arm after working with her, could move my neck around, and best of all, was completely relaxed and loose. She did some stretchy thing that was unbelievable! I went back when I wasn't so messed up for just a nice deep tissue, and it was perfection. She has an intuitive sense of how deep to go, when to ease back, and her scalp massage made me melt!
