Since we had never been to that part of Wisconsin, we decided to give it a try. We've been full-time RVers for 14 years and can honestly say this is our favorite spot out of at least two or three hundred other campgrounds including everything from boondocking to resorts. The grounds are immaculate, as are the restrooms and two laundry rooms, which are handicapped friendly. The roads, while unpaved are of a fine shell or gravel and hard packed so these are easy to traverse using a walker. There are miles of popular, well-kept walking/bicycle paths nearby going from Point Rawley to the north, past the park and on to Manitowoc to the south. The owners of the park, Tammie and Paul, love the park and are working tirelessly at making it more beautiful every year. There is a lovely pond, lots shrubs and flowers as well as bat houses, bird houses and feeders (we watched goldfinches as we ate dinner several times), whimsical decorations large and small scattered throughout which are changed with the seasons. A number of sites have shade, and most of those without full grown trees have young trees about 15 feet tall or so and will provide more shade every year. Guidelines for the park are clear and reasonable: guests are asked to respect the space and people which is of course, simple common courtesy. All-in-all, this is is our idea of the perfect combination of a natural and well-kept park and friendly people. We are looking forward to our next, longer visit next year. The camp office doesn't seem to be open often, but the owners live on site so if you ever need anything. Great place, hidden gem! And reasonably priced.

My wife and I decided to go out to door County for vacation this year. We stayed at other KOAs…read morebefore so it was decent. The bathrooms were clean. They have plenty of stuff to do for the families. The only thing that I don't like is there not much to do during the week only on weekends, but that might be just a me problem. We're not going anywhere right now. The sites are a little close together but again it is a commercial campground so they try to pack them in all in all. It was an average commercial campgrounds not the best, but certainly not the worst. I guess I'd come again.

They put us in the old area which was dark, gloomy, mosquito infested, and no one else camping around us. Not sure why we drew the short straw to get this undesirable spot. There were three dead trees around our camper, so kept my fingers crossed there would not be a windstorm. Tons of staff running around in golf carts doing nothing. Oh yeah, and they have three dump sites and only one works. Would not go back.

Also, note that the rules do not allow you to burn branches, so you can't burn any of the debris yourself even if it's in your campsite. See pictures... Another thing that stood out is their rule about dogs. According to the rules (see photos), they don't want you leaving your dogs unattended if you leave the campground...even if they're secured inside your own RV.

The pool looked very inviting, but it was a little cold out for my liking, but there were plenty of families enjoying. Loved the site with a nice big fire pit, enough privacy and trees love the layout. Kind of pricey but it's Door County.

It has 2 large pools and one baby pool, ping pong, a jump pad, a train ride, and video games in the Ranger Station that are fantastic. And just enough! If you want hotel amenities, go there. This is camping at its best! Do not expect to play phone games all day. Play soccer, take up a craft or do an activity that is provided by the campground. Take many pictures with Yogi and get some candy at the Ranger Station or some ice cream at the Goody Shop. Plain good camping fun as it should be. The owners could not be nicer and have a big stake in this game. They care. They're on site. They're fantastic. Love this place!!

Not much tho. You will hear the birds sing. Loved it here. Staff is friendly and kind. Grady place in u want to rent it. Rent sites don't have electric. I stayed in a cabin. Very small but would work for a family of 4. Bring a fan and a strip for electric cuz there is only one outlet per room and no running water in the room. There is a light inside and outside as well. Nice porch if it rains like it did for me. Fire out. Picnic table. Nice place to visit and decompress like I did. It's a nice place for kinda. They have mini gilf, a heated pool, snack shop, 2 showers in the bathrooms that are kept clean. They have internet at the main. Area of the snack shop. Didn't work in my cabin. I have Verizon and had poor cell service so if that is your carrier take note. There is a custard stand close by u can walk to. I can't say enough good about this place. They have city water and deer. They have 4 washers and dryers. If fishing is your thing, you have a area to clean the fish and they will put your fish on ice for u while u stay here. Make sure to pick up after your pets. Host was helpful and were escorted to the site. There is a putt-putt course, a small swimming pool and lots of neighborly guests. If you have a big gigantic camper, there are spaciously long pull-through spots. Located in a quaint town right before heading up to the hustle and bustle of Door County. This is a great base camp.

I always change where I go camping to keep it interesting and this was my first time being genuinely disappointed with the grounds. The biggest shocker for me was a 'wagon full' of wood for $15!! Mind you it is not a big wagon at all (wish I remembered to take a picture!) and had about 10 pieces of long wood with the bark still on it. That's important to add cause it was still holding moisture = getting the fire going was a pain! l!! The price was really ridiculous for me, and they do NOT let you bring in 'outside' wood not on the grounds per avoiding other tree sicknesses. It became clear this site was more geared towards RV folks. We had a back in site with water and electricity--electricity didn't even work. Once we let them know they gave us an additional plug in piece for it which helped, but I could only wonder what would have happened had we decided to go more 'glamping' for that trip and were heavily relying on that box. Would have ruined the trip for sure. Bathrooms were...interesting. I mean they had them and they weren't sour smelling, but could have been set up to help keep it clean. For example, there is just an air hand dryer. To keep down some costs I'm sure but what that does is leave the sink area covered in water that splashed, making it feel dirty. I'm not high maintenance at all, but when its filth from so many other people, I get uneasy. The 'shop' they have there for things you may forgot or need or want, veryyyyyyy skimpy. I'm talking like supplies NOT in abundance, grouped together on a shelf with a hand drawn sign in front of each. Essentials yes, but have low expectations for good selection. Family run I GUESS, but I have been to plenty around WI that have been wayyy homey-er and still a good price. Definitely would not recommend unless none of this applies cause you have an RV

We were there a week, never saw them emptied. For what you're paying, you would expect better amenities. We went to a series of state parks next, and it was SO much better
