The condos are nicely decorated and very clean. There is basic kitchen cookware and utensils. They always have Door County coffee, which is really good. I like the big jetted bathtub in the bathroom. There is also a shower. This resort is off the beaten path but that is what I love about it. Every room has a view of the lake. The beach and resort grounds are very nice. I like to enjoy the open windows and patio doors to hear the waves. There is a small indoor pool and hot tub. Both are nice. And clean. The restaurant right next door is amazing. Super cool inside with great drinks and food. Make reservations! I think the prices are inline with other resorts in DoCo. Super friendly staff. I know I'll be back next Fall!

Walking into the room, the first thing that hit us was this strong, leftover food smell - like someone had just cooked something super spicy and the scent decided to stay for the weekend. It wasn't exactly the fresh, clean place we were hoping for. And to top it off the other side of the building had its own thing going on - its own kind of funky, musty odor that hung in the air. Not AWFUL, but noticeable. Not the kind of scent that says "welcome" more like "something weird went in the walls". The room did not do itself any favors either, there were dust, and dirt in random spots, and when we made the mistake of checking under the couch and cushions, we discovered a little time capsule of old food crumbs and debris. Cozy! It looked like the furniture had not been updated in a while - unless " 1990s cabin chic" is making a comeback. On the bright side, the shower actually worked pretty well - hot water, great pressure. Honestly that was probably the highlight of the room. Outside there is some tennis courts , and a basketball hoop. Which is a nice touch if you are into that kind of thing, ( or if you need to burn off frustration from your room situation.) Overall the Landmark has potential - the location is solid and the grounds are peaceful - but the rooms REALLY need more attention and care. If they put in the effort to clean better and refresh the interiors, this could be a great spot. Until then, maybe bring some freshener, and DO NOT look under the cushions, and keep your expectations in check!

We typically stay in Fish Creek, but since we booked our trip only a week in advance, there were no available accommodations there. We decided on Bailey's Harbor instead, which is just a 20-minute drive from Fish Creek, offering stunning views of the lake, surrounding nature, and charming villages along the way. I paid $200 for one night in a Trailside One Bedroom Suite, which featured an apartment-style layout with a queen bed, a pull-out sofa in the living room, a full kitchen, parking, and a lovely view of the wooded trail area. The room was spacious and clean, providing a cozy, cabin-like atmosphere that was more than enough for two people. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with walking trails, stunning views of Lake Michigan, and a peaceful, secluded ambiance. It also offers a dock, beach area, hot tub, and pool, all surrounded by majestic pines. We were able to easily walk to the water, the breakfast hall, and other areas of the property. During our stay, we also noticed a small wedding taking place, adding to the charming atmosphere. The only thing preventing me from giving a 5-star review is the quality of the breakfast. It was typical of a basic hotel breakfast--scrambled eggs made from powdered eggs, cereal, coffee, juice, and so on. As someone who loves breakfast, it would have been a nice touch to have freshly made scrambled eggs and hashbrowns, which would have really elevated the experience for me. Overall, I'm excited to return in the summer to take advantage of the outdoor pool, hot tub, beach area, dock, and outdoor seating. I'm also looking forward to trying the restaurant on the property next time.

The property was beautiful and it was huge. There were options to stay in cabins, houses, and a lodge. There were also hiking trails and it sat on Lake Michigan so you could Kayak or swim in the pool over looking the lake. There were also basketball courts and tennis courts. You could basically spend your whole time on the property and have your vacation there. We stayed in Cabins. This one is the Spruce and it's where Leslie and I roomed. The cabin had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, and fireplace. And we had a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan right out front. Everything was so quiet on the campus. It was super relaxing and I got two nights of fantastic sleep! I also have to add they have hot water and there was great water pressure. Not everyone talks about bathrooms and showers, but for me a hot shower is like a cup of coffee. I don't like coffee and I need the shower to wake me up. They had super soft towels too. This is another small thing that is huge. I can't stand small scratchy towels. These were big and fluffy They also had a buffet breakfast and a restaurant. The breakfasts were amazing! They had different buffets each morning too. I had such a great stay!

This newly renovated, family owned lodge has so much small town charm, you just don't want to leave. I woke just before sunrise to dim light, a slight overcast and quiet waves hitting the sandy beach just 40-50 yards from the back porch seating! There is a slight trail that will guide you past and around a local house that is perched right on the beach. Don't be afraid to walk past it, the lodge owns beach access and the neighbors have learned to live with it (We confirmed the route to access the beach [Right in front to us] with the lodge owner) Hubby made our plans to travel to WI just a week before we arrived! He tried to have us stay near or very near Lake Michigan and Green Bay. So, we embarked on five different locations for five individual nights. This was our third overnight, our second on the peninsula. What a wonderfully peaceful evening. The best word I can use to describe the lodge is just "peaceful". I say this to be clear-- People woke to just sit quietly out back amidst the view - but since I could not be quiet, I sought out someone to share the experience with. We found, we enjoyed!! Rooms seemed recently renovated- and that is my presumption since the owner said they just took over a year or so ago. Bathroom floors were new, as was the paint and the texturized walls. The decor is simple and muted, but not unflattering. The beds were comfortable and pillows extra fluffy!! Towels were fluffy and bed linens were super white and clean. There was a coffee shop on site called "A Little Bit of Coffee" which featured the Door County Coffee brand and boasted a variety of their flavors. We truly enjoyed this cute, little hotel and look forward to staying there for several days on our next visit to Wisconsin.

The chemical smell did not dissipate; instead, the fumes triggered a severe asthma attack and heart palpitations within hours. The conditions were so dangerous that I had no choice but to check out the next morning and drive home to ensure my safety. Crucially, this was a holiday weekend. The hotel undoubtedly rebooked this room immediately after we left, suffering zero financial loss. Yet, they refused to refund the remaining two nights and kept the full $750 charge. The Snug Harbor Inn breached the basic warranty of habitability by providing a room with unknown chemical hazards that caused an immediate medical reaction. Keeping the full payment for a room I could not use, while they re-rented it to someone else, is unjust enrichment and a clear disregard for guest safety. Do not book here; the management prioritizes profit over health.

This place makes me want to be an innkeeper when I'm older…read more It's an old 2 building inn nestled off the main road of Hwy 42 in the quaint lil town of Ephraim in Door County. The accommodations were renovated, clean and well-maintained. I stayed in Bill's Room - b/c it was the least expensive boarding with a good reputation. At $80/night (for either on or off season), it's definitely more affordable than the nearby inns/motels. Don't expect a lot of amenities with the small room though - but there is coffee, free WiFi, and cable TV. No phone though, which made things difficult since we had absolutely no reception on our cell phones. A complete Cell Phone Dead Zone - I had to drive out a few minutes onto the 42 in order to call the innkeepers to have them come fix some broken blinds. Inconvenient, but not too bad. As it's a small, family-owned inn, they don't have someone manning the office everyday. But Hugh and Alicia were just a phone call away and would drop by when you needed something. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay - the other rooms they have available are really nice - w/ fireplaces, sitting areas, etc. Their website is well set up with photos of the rooms and prices for the season. It's centrally located in Ephraim and walking distance to the water and restaurants. Check it out next time you're in Door County!
