I called Bruce regarding my Colorado spruce - all new growth was dying. This tree was given to me…read moreby my neighbor several years ago. Left a message on his cell and didn't hear anything. Two weeks later, he showed up unannounced. His view was that the tree was planted too deep (Briggs nursery, where the tree was originally purchased, advised that there was a disease and I should spray it with a fungicide - which I did before. Bruce showed up.). Bruce said he would lift the tree, and his charge from the moment he left his house to the minute he returned was $150/hour. Mind you, I didn't pay for this tree and could easily replace it for much less than he was planning on charging me. And no guarantee of course that lifting the tree would solve the problem. There is a saying, "pigs get fat, but hogs get slaughtered". I will not use him again. Ps - a few years back, Bruce cut back a viburnum that was not doing well and charged $700 for that. Yeah, that tree died the next year.

This company did my driveway I kept my end I paid him the day he finished the job. I wanted a 2 yr…read morewarranty it's a good thing, half the driveway did not come good, I told him and he came tried to use a torch to smooth it down but it didn't work, he said don't worry next spring I'll fix it. The spring came and I called and he said I'll fix it and he sent me a bill of $1,900. To fix it , I said no way it's under warranty you have to fix it, after that it all began with the lies to get out of repairing it by saying he went out of business when I told him he was a liar he said he was going through a bad divorce and he was filing for chapter 11 all of these lies to get out of doing what he promised to fix and the worst of it I had someone call to get a price for a driveway and they said when would like it done, how's that for someone who is out of business. So check this out before you hire him. He is not a man of his word. He has not responded to the BBB or myself to repair the situation.

I mentioned the need for a backhoe to dig out the buried organic material(dumped leaves). Their response was "we don't have one". In short stay away, their local TV adds are nothing like our eerience. Something is going on their father/sons ownership of the company. They are due 9/19/25 to come back with a complete new driveway, no charge! We will see. I will post update. Update, successful resolution. The sons were honest and apologetic about the delays. Completed sink hole remedy, down the road well see how it holds up. Offered to return at no charge if needed. Give them a shot, appears sons have taken over operations.
