Hello VITAS Healthcare, we would like to extend a big THANK YOU to the VITAS Team for providing my…read moreMom with care, and the family with assistance during her final moment. The compassion and attentiveness provided by the whole VITAS Team Staff was no doubt remarkable during a very difficult time in our lives. When my Mom's Healthcare Oncologist informed us that we needed to begin coordinating Hospice Care...VITAS Team swiftly responded and came to our home that evening. Not really understanding Hospice Care a representative arrived within hours to help explain a care strategy. The experience of preparing and planning for the needed care of a loved one was not easy. The VITAS Team really gave our family amazing support through a very emotionally time from early Home Hospice Care to final Facility Hospice Care located at Rockledge, FL. The VITAS Team ensured my Mom was comfortable through the entire process of care. VITAS Representatives and Teams listed below were all superb in our experience! Yes, we lost our Mom but do know, she no longer must deal with the pain of cancer, other illnesses, or worries. Again, thanks to the whole VITAS Team for their outstanding care and support provided to our Mom/Family. God Bless You All! VITAS Representatives: Admissions Nurse: Emily; Health Care Nurse: Crystal; Doctor: Dr. Z. Dahya; Chaplain: Ellen; Social Worker: Stephanie; Nurse Assistant: Yolande; Rockledge Facility Nurse Team, Facility Chaplain, Cleaning Staff, and to the Health Care Equipment Delivery Team.

This is the place…read more You want a place like this when you are in need of hospice. I have never, in my years, found one location where everyone is as capable and compassionate as the people in this hospice facility. From the security guard to the janitor, every doctor, every nurse, every aid and the social worker too. I spent the four last days of my father's life here. I would not have wanted him anywhere else. Informative, professional and kind. I want to know a place like this will be waiting for me in 40 years. Thank you, St. Francis. For these past four days, as well as the past four months of monitored care at both Parish Hospital and a LTC Facility. THANK YOU.

They sent people to my house at 10:00 p.m. unannounced. I had to call the sheriff. They never asked questions of appropriateness, the staff even admitted this organization was very poorly run by management and it was very disorganized. I finally was forced to quit the care I was receiving, it got so bad. Do not go with this hospice. They Bragg because they are the only 5 star hospice in the state.....but definitely they are NOT. I gave them 1 star only because there was not an option for a zero star rating. State of Florida needs to review this hospice. This is my review. I am a Registered Nurse of 50 years and still am, have been a staff nurse, a team leader, a nurse manager and a Director of Nursing. I was complemented for my ability to give excellent care during this time. This is a very professional review of this organization. Sorry it could not be a 5 star but it is an honest review. I wanted to write this review for the staff. Everyone, from the Doctors, nurses, therapy, food delivery and housekeeping are absolutely amazing here. As a daughter of a parent going through rehab it is really scary when you have to leave your parent and hope they are given proper care. Well, I'm here to tell you that Solaris is an amazing facility. They take such good care of my mom and I couldn't be more pleased with the care she has received. She loves it so much that she said she is going to miss her second family there when she leaves. Thanks to all of you for everything you have done to make her stay so amazing.

They have gone beyond what I would consider their duties. The Director of Nursing even stepped in to love on my mother out of strong compassion. The staff has always been very helpful with ALL our concerns and reassured us that we can call as many times as we needed. My mother has had very good care, and we have developed friendships with staff. I am grateful for Solaris Health Care for my mom. Diana H. (Daughter of patient) 10/3/25

Do your homework, people. No matter what you are told, hospice will not keep giving your loved one…read moretheir needed meds. This facility literally killed my mom by refusing to give her her blood pressure meds and sent her into shock!!! NEVER TAKE anyone here unless you want the clones for nurses to ignore you and do not believe the lies that the oh so sweet and calm social workers tell you. Death is their business, NOT LIFE, even though it is short. The brochures say they will continue the meds..............LIES!!! They admitted my mom after hours with NO DOCTOR to check her and NO MEDS available, yet after 5 was when they do admissions!!!!

The nurse Jackie Bailey was exceptional. She would always call me right after her visits every week to report on his status. She was always pro-active, in trying to maintain his quality of life and care. If she needed to come in more than once per week because of a problem, she would be there. She made my father feel special, and that he mattered to her. He would always smile when she would come in to see him. The other workers that would come in to help him were just as attentive. Allison, who would shower him 3 times per week, Donna a volunteer, who would come every week to see him, Stanley the Chaplain, who would give him comfort, and Jason the social worker, who would visit him often as well. I can't say enough good things about the people and the care they gave my father. It takes special people to do the work of hospice care. God bless them all! - Mike Reed
