My brother chose Royal Oaks for my mother to stay once she needed round the clock care. Eric is real good at selling you on what great care your lived one will receive and we fell for it. What a HUGE MISTAKE!!! The nurses are incredibly RUDE, they allowed my mother to get really bad bedsores (even though she was mobile), they would tie her to her bed and let her scream until she calmed down when she had an infection and her dementia got worse (from the infection) instead of working to calm her. She broke several bones while in their care they claimed due to "unobserved" falls. She had cancer on her face they didn't even address until i finally took her to the Dr and found out it was cancer and had it removed with an outside Dr. she had a HUGE what they called a bedsore when she died photo attached but claim she died of natural causes (NO AUTOPSY) see photo, you tell me? Even worse ALL of her jewelry was stolen from her when she passed. We only got 1 little ring back out thousands worth of jewelry. In fact they stoled a lot of her belongings over the time she was there even though we labeled all of her things with her name. No one even had an answer or cared about that either. The building always smells great and clean! the staff is easy to talk to and they really care about there patients! This was coming due by August 1st so I called about a week prior to schedule my physical. I arrived for my appointment on July 31st - arriving about 10 minutes early knowing that I would need to fill out paperwork regarding my medical history. I was greeted by the professional office employee and she gave me the appropriate paperwork. I had barely gotten halfway through with my paperwork when I was called in to the back. I was weighed, blood pressure taken, vision tested (chart), and had to give a urine sample. I then returned to the examination room where I had time to finish my medical background paperwork. Patricia Philbrick, APRN, came in with her stethoscope and checked my lungs (deep breaths), peripheral vision, color test, reflexes, and hearing. She was very professional and thorough. She signed off on my Medical Examiner's Certificate Card including her State License number and National Registry number. I have to carry this card with me whenever I operate a Semi Truck. Once home I uploaded a photo copy of my new card and updated my status online with the Florida Division of Motor Vehicles (easy peasy). I found everyone here friendly, professional, and efficient. I had a very good experience and so I'm going with 5 stars.

I had previously promised him that I would show him my DNA blood test report from a hospital in China. So, I brought my DNA blood report to a nurse practitioner at this clinic. If I remember correctly, her name was Allison. When I arrived at the clinic, the nurse who checked my blood pressure and heart rate was very unfriendly. My hepatitis B virus test has been positive since childhood, but it is completely non-contagious. The only restriction is that I cannot donate blood. My twin daughters were born without the hepatitis B virus. However, this so-called medical professional actually told me that she needed to report my condition to the local infectious disease agency. I was speechless. How could a so-called medical professional lack such basic medical knowledge? Even now, passing by this clinic still makes me feel very uncomfortable. She made me rethink what it means to be a so-called medical professional in the United States. I encountered this just after returning from my parents' funeral in China in 2019. This in itself was adding insult to injury.

I went to Parrish Healthcare Center in Port St. John Florida for CT scan. I arrived on time and had…read morea seat in the waiting area. As I waited I was able to snap some great pictures! They actually have a cool little cafe inside Parrish Healthcare Center. They also had this phenomenal piece of artwork hanging from the ceiling in the cafe area. This building is really cool. It looks like it was built in the 90's but it turns out that it was actually built in 2007. A gentleman called me back shortly after I arrived for my CT scan appointment. In the room with the CT scan machine, the gentleman who walked me back, introduced himself as Donavan, my X-Ray Technician. Unfortunately Donavan could not find a vein in order to hook me up to an IV, so that he could inject my arm with the solution that they use to complete the CT scan. I told Donavan that they usually use a special sonogram machine, on my arms, in order to start an IV. Donavan said that he didn't have a machine like the one that was needed to start an IV on me. He said that he would have to send me over to Imaging department at Parrish Medial Center Hospital, for my CT scan, because they are the only ones who would have the machine that is needed to run my IV. Donovan excused himself to go into the other room, so he could make a phone call to the Imaging department at Parrish Medical Center Hospital. After Donavan returned, he apologized for not being able to complete my CT scan that day. He said that he called the Imaging Center, at Parrish Medical Center Hospital, and that they can take me for my CT Scan right away. We said our goodbyes, and then I left the health center and immediately went over the Imaging department at Parrish Medical Center Hospital.
