6/18/25 cruise NY. I would book this again. This is my 4th time using Trans Bridge. The convenience is great. Pick up at ABE airport is smooth and on time. 1st 3 days parking is free $5 /day afterwards in their side lot just off the bus pick up. Smooth ride all the way from ABE to the Manhattan cruise pier 88. Driver was friendly and bus was clean. The return ride, only disappointment I had was they parked all the way at Pier 90 (one over). No one ever walked up or made any announcements. We were waiting at the Pier 88 bus slots. Luckily, I walked down and saw the bus parked behind the Pier 90 wall. All good we got on the bus, it would have been nice if the driver had at least walked down to our arrival pier 88 holding a TB sign. (Just something to consider for future and avoid delays) Return driver was polite and bus was Clean. I recommend Trans-Bridge if going on a cruise. Skip all the traffic driving into the city. Senior rates avail for 62+ as well as free bus wifi. read more

Feedback on My Recent Bus Trip I recently used the bus service to travel from Allentown Airport to the New York pier. This turned out to be the longest route offered -- the bus made five stops each way and waited for passengers who had pre‑purchased tickets. This happened both ways, two occasions, we waited more than 20 minutes at different stops for people who never showed up. Then We set at the port Authority for over 45 mins . To pick up more people before getting to the pier and samething on the return trip . I booked my trip over the phone, never visited the website, and had not used your company before. The person I spoke with told me the bus went directly to the pier, so I had no reason to question it. I also have friends who used your service previously and said the same. On the return trip, there was additional confusion. Passengers were not informed that pickup would be at a different location than what was printed on the tickets, which led to over an hour of waiting for lost travelers. The bus driver and Company had miscommunication about where she was to stop on the return trip . Overall, the trip took about two hours longer each way than expected. I wanted to share this feedback so future passengers are clearly informed about all stops and pickup details when booking. Avoid using if possible read more

For EWR to ABE, the bus is consistently 20+ minutes late every year. On Dec 22 the 7:00 pm was 30 minutes late. It was a replacement bus with a transfer in NJ not arriving at ABE until 10:20 pm. The three of us paid $163.35 each way (while waiting for the late bus we realized Lyft charges $150-$180 door-to-door in 80 minutes). On our trip from ABE to EWR in July, we indicated we were going to the United terminal when boarding, but the driver skipped terminal C and then refused to return to the airport, leaving us in New York City and causing us to miss our flights. The buses are pretty nice -- clean, with power outlets and Wi-Fi. But due to the serious reliability and communication problems we will switch to Lyft or rental car going forward. read more

The bus never showed up and I cannot get in contact with anyone at the company. I purchased a $60 ticket to go from Bethlehem, PA to NYC the day after thanksgiving. 5 passengers were waiting at the bus stop but the bus never came. One passenger called and was told there is no bus and the company "forgot" to send a cancelation email. I have sent them an email trying to get refunded and have received no response. I called the customer service line and was told the only way to refund a ticket is over email. All I can think to do is dispute the charge with my CC company. This bus costs $80 roundtrip to drive approximately one hour each way between Port Authority and Clinton. This is significantly more costly than other bus services like NJ Transit or Greyhound, but they seem to have a monopoly on certain routes. This bus was more than 25 minutes late on the way back to NYC with no notification or apology until I wrote in to the company. For $80 roundtrip, this is unacceptable. The bus also had cramped seats and was less comfortable than buses like Megabus, Peter Pan and Greyhound. Wifi worked ok. I would not trust this bus if you are connecting, have somewhere you need to get to on time, or have a cheaper alternative. read more

They stopped for over 20 minutes at Easton and then back tracked to the prior stop to pick up 2 passengers "left behind" causing a severe delay in arrival. Emailed them requesting a refund given the operational failure and they acknowledged their "error in pickup location" but couldn't refund me as the "schedule is subject to change". While they did apologize for the delay, they did not acknowledge they would be addressing the issue. I've since found Greyhound services from Allentown to NYC a more cost effective and reliable solution to this company. read more

Greyhound bus ran almost 2 hours late arriving at Port Authority. I missed my 12 noon connecting bus with Trans Bridge. I called Trans Bridge contact number. Without asking multiple questions, the Trans Bridge representative issued and emailed me another ticket without any charge. I appreciate you Trans Bridge. You had nothing to do with the 2-hour Greyhound delay but you were very flexible and supportive at that time of need. Thanks again! read more

Its 6.49 pm Saturday October 19, the bus driver is lost and doesn't know where she is. This is very dangerous for everyone on the bus heading to New York City. This bus company needs to review all its drivers and make better arrangements for the passengers on the buses. Transbridge needs to improve its bus service from Port Authority Bus Terminal To Wind Creek and back. More bus service is needed. read more

trans bridge is now rolling out their online ticketing system. For those who are not aware they are going to charge $2 per ticket and $4 per round-trip per ticket for all online reservations. they are also going to make their tickets reservation only so you have to take a bus at a specific time on a specific day. Sure you can modify your ticket online but that'll cost you another $2. They state that you don't have to pay the surcharge if you buy it at a ticketing agent (good luck finding one) but if your schedule changes and you have to come back a different day they're gonna hit you with a two dollar change fee on top of their already pricey ticket costs that have only gone up in the last year "because of Covid and driver shortages and gas prices", but that's only my opinion. so your ticket could end up costing you $6more than it should!!! Just another excuse to gouge the customer. On top of all that when I question their customer service department it was said to me that "customers are just going to have to get used to it". The lack of communication and casual disregard for your customers is maddening and frustrating. After purchasing a ticket online I waited at the usual pick-up location only to learn too late that the location had been changed-without notifying me and without any way for me to know about it. Why was there no sign? Why wasn't I informed at the time of purchase? Why was there no email? Why didn't the driver, or someone, walk the few feet to see if anyone was waiting in the wrong place? Even on your website the alert is buried in a menu and hard to find. There are so many ways you could have prevented this situation and you chose to do nothing. Shockingly disappointing. Really its the biggest shame that this company holds a monopoly on bus transportation to nyc. Literally 1 HOUR LATE now with all of us waiting. Some leaving. No one knows what to do. Hello, On Sunday, several people, including myself, were waiting for the 6pm bus at the Hellertown stop. The bus driver arrived a half hour late only to abandon us in the parking lot. When he arrived, he stepped down the bus steps and said "My bus is full and no other buses will be coming. You'll all need to go home." He then shut the door and drove away. I have been commuting for years and have never been so appalled. Half of the people in line had tickets that were specific to that bus, time, and location. Some of us needed to get to work and others had hotel reservations. The fact that a second bus was not called was surprising and incredibly disappointing. Due to the Mon-Fri business hours, no one was able to contact anyone from transbridge about what happened. read more

We were trying to take the bus from Bethlehem to NYC and back. The bus to NYC was 25 minutes late and could only take 6 people. The driver offered no explanation as to why. A bunch of people who paid for tickets, were left stranded. Our bus home got cancelled. There was very little communication regarding this schedule change. I found it on Facebook. We were lucky to be able to catch a train to NJ, but again, people were just left there. Terrible company. I understand if they are understaffed, but don't sell tickets unless you can actually transport everyone that has one. read more

Trans-Bridge always make it seem as if all issues are the customer's fault and NEVER THEIRS. Never stands up to the company or the driver's wrong-doings. Reported an issue but wrote back blaming it on everyone else but themselves to avoid any responsibility - Known to NEVER give a simple heartfelt apology. When I saw a driver few feet away blurting profanity at me, I got a response back from them saying, he was cursing at someone else - "Yes, the driver was frustrated with them and did mutter a profanity, however, it was not directed at pedestrians and his windows were closed." I never wrote any complaint before, but this time I can't hold it anymore I just had a worst experience in my life. I took the bus every time to go to the city, and brought stuff home. I always put them in plastic bag and have no trouble getting on the bus. Unfortunately this time, the bus driver refused to let me get on the bus and also shouted at me telling me to GET OFF HIS BUS. So I decided to call in for a complain, and the reason they told me that I can't get on the bus was because the stuff was not in a closed container. No real complaints about taking Trans-Bridge to NYC. They are always on time or at least as on time as driving in and around the NYC area allows. The buses are clean, the wi-fi is free, and as long as you're not waiting to leave because your driver didn't get his Burger King breakfast delivered from one of the "regulars" things will be great. read more

The bus from Lehigh valley, wherever you get on it, to port authority is so convenient. We've always found the drivers to be friendly, the busses clean, the schedule dependable, etc. The girl selling tickets in the Easton terminal was rude and lazy and unfit to work in any type of customer service role. We only interacted for 30 seconds but she was clearly miffed that we interrupted her phone time. On the the other end, port authority is always a disorganized mess and reflective of what is wrong with mass transit in the US. No signage to indicate gate changes. No staff to help answer questions. We and 7 others are on a bus one hour later than we planned to take because our drivers all on separate inbound runs announced multiple times about a gate change for all return trips. We dutifully obeyed and are now getting home on a later bus because we'd all been told the wrong thing. read more

I would like to say to anyone who was on the haunted happenings 3 day trip to salem Massachusetts you got ripped off!! I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way, the lizzie borden house was excellent and the jack o lantern experience was amazing!! The dinner that was served was just awful, horrible for the amount of money we spent for this trip, who want's dried up Turkey, box stuffing and box mashed potatoes!! You should be ashamed you apologized for an incident 2 weeks ago where the driver put us all in danger by pulling the bus on the median bc he reached his hours to operate the bus. He held us all hostage until the connecting bus driver arrived. Again lack of compassion for anyone. You never offer a reason why the bus is overbooked requiring passengers to stand. You take cash therefore you miscount how many passengers you have on your bus. On a recent ride to the Newark airport, the bus broke down and the driver ended up going another mile before pulling into a breakdown lane between and on ramp and the highway. He was unable to provide any concrete information (most likely because his dispatchers did not) and merely told us there "might be another bus in an hour or so" but that they "couldn't make any promises". Imaginably, being a bus to the airport, stress levels among passengers were hight. It was a 90+ degree day and the AC was off following the breakdown. I ended up calling a Lyft and found a brave driver willing to come to the location to take me and some other passengers the last 15 min. drive to the airport. When I asked Transbridge to reimburse me for the Lyft, they cited "traffic congestion" on the highway that day as a rationale for why their policy would not allow for a reimbursement. Other than the bus arriving late to the original pick up point, it was proceeding on-time and there was no unusual traffic that day that would've significantly influenced the arrival time at the airport. Yet another case of a large company not taking responsibility for itself and, in this case, making their poorly serviced bus the customer's problem. On top of this, TransBridge is obscenely expensive. Try Our Bus/Klein for great customer service, on-board charging/wifi options, free water and much better rates and comfort. read more

Yesterday Trans Bridge left almost40 people stranded at PABT. I was one. We were to return to Allentown on the last bus at 9pm. At 9:30 a bus pulled in and the driver locked the door and while walking away up the concourse announced there was no bus leaving. There was no driver to take it back. Come back in the morning. This was after they also cancelled the 6:15 earlier. No posting at the gate, no posting on the web site. Took LYFT with 4 other people to Allentown costing us 120.00. Cheaper than a hotel in NY. NEVER RIDE THEM AGAIN. This was not safe. Don't know what the other 30 people did last night. read more

They refused to send another bus, forcing people to wait over an hour for the next one, which will likely be filled and have people waiting again. Here's how they are better than Transbridge -Can buy tickets online -Can buy tickets cash on the bus for same price -Outlets and usb at EVERY seat -More frequent buses -Is one quarter the price! (NYC-Philly vs NYC-Easton is $8 vs $25) Sure the transbridge buses are (sometimes) cleaner and the drivers are (often) very professional, but is that worth 4x more? Buy your tickets and then get lunch ( usually a 2 PM show ). If you are headed to downtown Manhattan WEEKDAYS ONLY there are 9 buses in the "WALL STREET & JERSEY CITY" service. Buses leave 04:30 AM to 06:00 AM and return after work. --- Only 2 buses make the two stops in Jersey City. 1) Exchange Place 2) Newport Center (planned community and mall) --- The other buses go through the Holland Tunnel and drop off passengers in 8 downtown locations. 1) Franklin Street Subway stop lines #1 , #2 2) Broadway and Thomas (walk to Chinatown and Little Italy) 3) Broadway and Chambers (City Hall and govt buildings) 4) Broaday and Dey (Closest to World Trade Center site) 5) Broadway and Chelsea (Heart of Financial District) 6) Broad and Exchange Place (Stock Exchange) 7) Broad and Water St. (Southernmost- South Ferry & Battery Park) 8) Water and Wall St. (Short walk to South St Seaport Museum) You have multiple options to return from Port Authority such as #136 gate #4 at Port Authority , leaves at 5:55PM and arrives in Beth 7:45PM. Last bus is 11:45PM if you want to stay and party or have dinner in NYC or catch an evening show. On the return trip purchase a round trip ticket for $28 and take one of the two buses that goes to Sands Casino (one is at 11:30). They will give you a coupon good for $30 in slot play and a $5 discount coupon for food. If you can win back $23 from slots, and sell your return ticket (good for 36 hours) for $5 then you are even. However, if you have a car at terminal on route 22, then you will need some way to get your vehicle home. ================================================= If you are closer to the Interstate 78 and Hellertown Rd "Park and Ride" in Bethlehem, then take Bieber Bus (based in Kutztown) instead of TransBridge bus line. Bieber Bus does not service the Sands Casino which is 2 miles from the Park and Ride. There are 19 buses per day. read more

I wanted to like Transbridge Lines - I really did. In fact I love their drivers. They are really fantastic guys and work very hard despite the fact that the company is falling apart. I am a relatively new customer so you'd think Transbridge would be wanting to keep my business. It turns out they don't. After advocating for fellow passengers on Twitter and posting actual bus arrival times they have simply blocked me. I was never rude, always professional and tried my best to communicate with them only to be ignored. The issue is that they are now daily canceling and combining advertised runs (particularly 9&13 putting us in late to NYC 30-40 minutes EVERY day). We received a very long email from the company President about how there is a shortage of drivers and that there is nothing they can do and that they know there is a serious problem. They maintain that it's a temporary problem but it's been ongoing since earlier this year, at least since May when a previous letter about the same issue went out. None of this of course has anything to do with the customers who pay hundreds of dollars every month to use this as their primary commuter option and expect to receive the advertised service. The best thing they could do is cancel runs that they are unable to maintain instead of continuing to advertise for them when they simply aren't meeting the demand. Yes this will inconvenience some - and yes it will mean that some will stop using the service altogether - but it must be done to allow everyone to have a more reliable service. Unfortunately they don't seem to be listening and as the only game in town I guess they don't have to - but it's not really ethical or acceptable. I am trying to look into other commuting options now as a result and hopefully will find one because attempting to rely on Transbridge has nearly cost me my job. read more

At most, this bus service got us from New Hope, PA to New York City for an overpriced rate of $30 cash at the bus stop. The fact that our bus was 20 minutes late (and the earlier bus simply didn't show up) didn't seem that strange for a bus line... But the fact that this particular service is completely okay with taking standing passengers is appalling. The ride from New Hope to NYC is approx 2.5 hours. At least 4 passengers were okay with standing for the duration starting at that point. To my surprise, more and more folks boarded at the subsequent stops, and all the driver seemed to care about is how many people he was able to pack on board. With no receipt system, I hope he does well for himself. Thank goodness the brand new bus we were riding had seat belts - if we ever take this bus line again, I hope the next bus comes with "soccer mom" instructions for those who are strapped in to protect those who are standing. This practice should not only be prohibited, it should be illegal. For my own safety, we'll never take this service again. For your own sanity, I recommend you avoid it too. read more

If I could do a negative I would. Most unpforessional bus service we have ever used. We have used a lot! They refused to let my fiancee eat his sandwhich or any sodas on the bus at all. He was on the 8:15 pm bus. He came from Massachusetts and had no dinner on his way. The bus driver did not care.
