Recommendation for Zac Bidelman/Keller Williams Preferred Realtor/Huerkamp Home Group…read more I first met Zac Bildelman after inquiring about a property that I was interested in. He made an appointment and showed me the property that same day. My first impression was that he was knowledgeable and able to answer my questions readily. I realized over time that because of all his additional attributes (Professional, always responsive, and very patient), he was the perfect realtor. It had been over 30 years since my husband, and I had previously scoured the cities in search of that one perfect realtor to help us find the house that was perfect for us at that time. Zac Bidelman patiently spent at least two years showing me various properties. He quickly fine-tuned the amenities that I was in search of until it basically came down to 3 or 4 properties. Once the perfect location came on the market, he helped me create an offer that he presented immediately. His quick action was the sole reason that I was able to buy the property that was perfectly suited to me. The second phase of my quest was to subsequently sell my house. During that process Zac assisted me with the preparations of getting the house we built 33 years prior ready for sale. His company hired an inspector and then advised me how to prioritize what to repair from the inspector's list. Zac had a "Stager" available to me who helped me get the house aesthetically ready to be viewed. The professional photographer that he used took exceptional photographs that helped present my house in the best possible light. This also included drone shots which helped highlight the fabulous view from and around my home. Regarding setting the sales price of my house, he listened to my input of what I felt the price should be set at - given that I knew my property and adjacent locations so well after living in the house for over three decades. Because of his skills as a realtor, my home sold in one day. For any and all of the above-stated reasons, I wholeheartedly recommend Zac Bidelman and his very accomplished assistants and team. So I have never written a review on any company in my life but feel like this is an obligation I…read moreowe for the greater good. Just take a look for yourself at all the poor reviews calling this company a scam and thieves! I didn't even get through them all! Get behind a month or two for $179 in monthly dues and expect to pay thousands and thousands in late fees and lawyer fees because regardless of what this company will comment saying they care, they don't! They will refer your communication to their lawyer at your expense. This company is the most greedy and unethical company I have ever come into contact with. I am a resident of The Villas of Faribault, which is managed by this scam, I'm sorry "company". I have been a resident within this same community for over 10 years. I have watched countless neighbors unreasonably and excessively fined making home owners actually want to move over an association management company. Is that not ridiculous?! Today, I witnessed two homes within my community JUST get published in the news paper as a notice of foreclosure over liens on association dues each one was $2600 and the other over $3000. Uhm we pay $179 a month in dues. I know these home owners missing a few payments did not result in that big of an outstanding bill. This has also happened to countless neighbors of mine as well. I think it goes without saying that families can have a hard month or two, maybe miss a payment or two for those unexpected emergencies like car repairs of medical bills whatever the case may be. Things happen, people go through hard times, and you would hope to have a company that cares and is willing to work with you BUT this company does not allow their residents to make payments towards their debt unless the outstanding balance AND unreasonable and absolutely ridiculous late fees amongst other fees are paid in full. So mean while, this company does not allow for you to make payments towards your current dues or past dues in effort to catch up, but this company will deny your payments so they can continue to accumulate a ridiculous amount of "fees" that your once $600 bill turns into $2700. One of my lovely neighbors who is a single mom got three months behind and was able to pay her outstanding bill in full thankfully however her unjust late fees were now more then the outstanding amount she owed. She wrote them a letter stating she wanted to dispute all the excessive fees that continued to accumulate and without notice they file a declaration for foreclosure! Also don't forget all their "lawyer fees" and other fees as well that are accumulating. My neighbors house was in foreclosure over $2600 in unjust and excessive fees that she was disputing. Not a forclosure on the mortgage as that is current but a forclosure on the association late fees! She has lived in this community for 13 years! This luckily hasn't happened to me but has and is affecting so many of my community members and neighbors. Families losing homes over this scam! This scam they call a company has been so disheartening and untrustworthy, I have reported them multiple times to the Better Business Bureau and so have my neighbors. I will definitely be running for my association board so our community will never have to deal with such a greedy scam of a company. Call me crazy but I actually care about my community. Didn't know that was a rare thing. I knew there were greedy and bad businesses out there but wow was I surprised today. Can you imagine a worse nightmare?! Companies like this taking advantage of the middle class who have all been screwed over enough without any breaks. This company is an absolute crook. Luckily, I work with many attorneys and am hoping that actions can be taken to stop what this company is doing. As to a logical person, this does not seem like it should be legal. I probably won't get very far on legal action but I feel like the scam that this company is running is unjust and people should not do business with disgusting greedy companies like this. Public service announcement!

Why You Shouldn't Rent a Home from Twin Cities Management…read more We rented a home from Twin Cities Management and I'm sure some things fall on the owner, but some things also fall on the management company. In March 2012 we rented a home in Apple Valley and just picked something real quick because we were in a bit of a time crunch. There were several things left behind from the previous tenant and some items that needed to be fixed before we moved in. Those items were never taken care of and I had to ask every week when they would be taken care for nearly a month. It was obvious to me they had more than enough time to remedy these items before we moved in, but chose not to. One of the biggest issues was the basement. Apparently there was mold growing on the laundry room wall and the only reason I was able to figure that out was when I asked someone. This was a brick wall and I've never seen mold grow on a brick wall, but apparently it's possible. What I don't understand is why the management company didn't catch this. Don't they inspect their properties? Apparently not. There were also a handful of other little items here and there. Handles missing from windows, no screens, closet doors installed upside down and unfinished wood, a toilet that couldn't flush or ran, missing piece of awning in the roof, branches hanging from trees, graffiti on the exterior garage wall as examples. Missing light bulbs. Zero efforts to make a property ready before someone rents it. The drive way was also a major concern since nearly a fourth of it had deteriorated and was begging to get worse and created a valley at the end of the drive. Anyone walking or riding a bike down the sidewalk would avoid it so that they wouldn't trip. We asked countless times if this was something that would be repaired or even patched, but nothing happened. Another task that was never done, but supposedly would be is landscaping. Plantings were never planted and instead the perimeter of the house looked like a desert. There was also a leaking outside faucet I pointed out, but was never repaired, which left a constant large wet spot on the ground and up part of the wall. The other repair never made was a roof that started to leak. The water spots remained with no attempt to repair. We cleaned the carpets ourselves, but had limited success due to the age of the carpets. I was told we may be able to get them clean, but the stains may not come out since the carpets were pretty worn. I've worked for Property Management companies before and we ALWAYS performed inspections because tenants aren't always real good about pointing out maintenance. We also had preventative maintenance plans in place. If Twin Cities Management had the same plans in place they would have caught the mold and it wouldn't have ever been an issue. Apparently when you rent a home with an "As Is" clause I think it's buyer beware, because who knows what you're going to get or even if they'll fix anything. One more item I confronted them on is the humidifier, which is a common piece of equipment with any furnace. They claimed there wasn't one. Turns out there is one and I even sent them a photo of it. When the new furnace was put in long before we rented the place the existing humidifier was never repaired and hooked up to the new furnace, which would explain why it was so dry in the house, which resulted in soar throats and bloody noses. One of the excuses I would hear from maintenance, "I'm not even sure how to go about that", when it was a branch hanging from a tree. Really? You don't know that you can get a ladder and saw or tree trimmer and just cut the thing down before it falls on someone's head? Communication was another issue. You would submit a maintenance request and you would be lucky if you ever heard anything. You didn't know if it would actually be fixed because they didn't respond. For a time I would just keep resubmitting, but they never got the hint. Instead I decided it was better to just sit here for the term of our lease and renting something else later. Near the end of our lease we were told the lease would not be renewed since the owner had passed away the estate would be settled. I find it very odd the kids of the owner would not let us out of the lease early to move into another home. I don't know if it was the owners or management telling half-truths. We also found out during the move out inspection that one of the kids of the owner was moving in to the home, which contradicted management's claim of another renter.

Wendy responded very quickly after we contacted her. She walked through our home and gave us advice on placement of furniture, removal of some furniture, and improvements needed to make our home more attractive. Wendy provided us with a very well researched presentation of a proposed listing price. She provided us with names of people who helped prepare the house for sale and even suggested an organization geared to helping us relocate by sorting and packing our goods. Wendy moved very quickly to get the house listed and generated interest in the home by mailing information about the coming sale to people in the area. Within three days of our listing we had multiple offers. Wendy explained the pros and cons of each offer and was able to secure an offer well above the listing price. We very much appreciate her expertise and professionalism, as well as her quick responses to any questions or issues we had.

We were excited about seeing it and connected directly to Parker to set up the showing through a referral. The house wasn't all it appeared to be online- but the visit was so valuable. Parker took the time to point out positives AND Negatives about the house. He asked important questions to me (the chatty one) and my quiet husband to figure about what kind of home would fit the bill for both of us. We figured out quickly that he knew his stuff! Talked to us about neighborhoods that fit our criteria, schools that were best, and connected us to a mortgage lender to start getting ahead of the financials. Fast forward one month- we had gone on showings 2 or 3 times total, and had a few houses that popped up just before 4th of July weekend. He got us into the homes that day. By the time we were walking out of the second house, we knew we wanted to write an offer. He coached us on what would be a fair price, and had paperwork emailed to us for e-signatures halfway to our cabin. I signed on my phone! The holidays didn't stop Parker from keeping us updated. We ended up in a competitive bid situation, and came out on top because of some sage advice to get our offer non-contingent. After buying a house non-contingent, we had to get our house sold! Parker came to our home and did a walk through, pointing out items for us to update or fix before pictures were taken. He had a photographer out a few days later, and it listed the exact weekend we wanted to have it up. We went out of town for a long weekend, and came home to NINE OFFERS and a spreadsheet from Parker comparing the offers. Go with an expert. Pemberton Homes is just that-- definitely worth it!!
