The heart of Haven is their incredible spice blend. They don't just offer "hot"--they offer a…read moreprecision-engineered scale of heat that caters to everyone: * The Mild Side: If you're spice-averse, their "Country" (no heat) or "Mild" levels let the quality of the chicken shine through without the burn. * The Extreme: For the thrill-seekers, the "Haven" level is truly "out of this world." It's a deep, dark red dusting of spices that delivers an intense, lingering heat that will test even the most seasoned chili-heads. Whether you want a quick snack or a full feast, they've mastered every vessel for their crispy, juicy chicken: * The Sandwich: A massive, hefty breast on a potato bun that is widely considered one of the best in New England. * The Wraps & Tenders: Perfectly fried and consistently juicy. * The Sliders: The perfect "middle ground" if you want to mix and match different spice levels in one sitting. The "Must-Have" Sides A hot chicken joint is only as good as its sides, and Haven's are legendary: * Homemade Mac & Cheese: This isn't an afterthought. It's rich, creamy, and features a perfect cheese-to-pasta ratio that acts as the ultimate cooling agent for your palate. * Banana Pudding: This is the "secret weapon" of the menu. It's authentic, layered with fresh bananas and Nilla wafers, and topped with light whipped cream. Many regulars consider it a "side" rather than a dessert because it's the only thing that can truly put out the fire of the higher spice levels! Haven Hot Chicken is a masterclass in balance. Between the crunch of the breading, the customizable heat, and the soul-warming sides, it's a 10/10 experience for any fried chicken lover.

I've been to Haven Hot before but this was my 1st time to this location. The set up was different…read morebut it was the same vibes. Very clean and bright. Jahbari greeted me and took my order. He was very helpful with trying to figure out combos to get the most out of my money. The items are very pricey hence why I don't eat here often. A single chicken sandwich is almost $15 with a combo being a lil over $18. The manager where I usually hooks me up with lots of Rob sauce. At this location I just purchased a large which was $4. We had a great conversation while I waited. What a nice young man. My food came out in less than 10 minutes and it was nice and hot. I witnessed someone purchasing 2 large box orders and their's came out fast as well. This was my 1st time getting the Wrap Snack and a side of coleslaw. I tried medium- Hotter Than You Think, it wasnt super spicy. The wraps came with 2, so I saved one for dinner. The one I ate was yummy, though I wish it had more chicken. My last bites were all tortilla. The chicken was crispy and the cheese really paired well with it. The coleslaw was well seasoned, not sweet and had good size pieces of veggies. You could see the onions and celery. I tasted all the layers of love. My son The Sandwich Combo per usual. He always gets the same thing. My only complaint is the seating was uncomfortable. If you could afford it, I highly recommend you check them out lol.

First time ever hearing about Dave's Hot Chicken. We happened to be in the area and someone in our…read moregroup raved about it. Got the #2. Comes with 2 chicken sandwiches and fries. Chicken was huge and super crispy. Fries are crinkle cut dusted with seasoning. Found that the fry amount was a bit smaller in portion size compared to the chicken. I mean maybe it's the actually serving size but let's be real. Fries are also a main course. So we ordered a large box of fries. The three of us (who didn't eat the #2 meal) killed the fries quickly. Mixed 2 packets of the Dave's sauce (it's like equivalent to 5 ketchup packets) with 2 ketchup packets . Mmm perfect. Saw a lot of Muslim patrons here. I was curious and looked it up. The chicken at Dave's is halal. KFC and chic fil a aren't. Looking at you KFC and chic fil a. More patrons would come to eat at your establishments if you served halal foods. Clearly from my ONE time eating at Dave's I could see that Muslim people like fried chicken too. DUH! Good job Dave's. I mean it didn't affect me in any way but it made me feel good that Dave's did something right. Will definitely be coming to Dave's Hot Chicken again!

I have been eating Dave's hot chicken for 4 years, and this is the first time I have ever had a bad…read moreexperience, significantly due to poor customer service rather than anything food or atmosphere related. I will preface by saying I arrived 30 minutes before closing, which may upset some employees, but the way my food was handled was completely uncalled for. I ordered 4 Dave's hot chicken sliders -- two mild, two hot. I sat in the restaurant for 40 mins waiting for an order that typically takes 10 to prepare. I did not make a fuss or complain until the last 5 minutes of the 40, when I walked over and saw the kitchen staff horsing around with my food. I inquired about the status of my order, and they said, "it'll be out in a moment." At this moment, I saw them chuck the boxes into the plastic bag, and pour the hot oil and seasoning on top of my box, with the cashier saying to the food preparer, "Bruh, that's horrible." I then finally received my meal. It should also be stated I was not the only person here at this time, as there were several other customers patiently waiting for their food. As I was leaving, another customer went up asking, "I've been here half an hour for a single chicken slider, what's the holdup?" I hoped that this story would end here, but when I opened my hot chicken sliders, I found that the chicken had been left cold and unseasoned, at which point I realized the bit with the throwing boxes, chili oil and seasoning on the boxes was a middle finger to me.
