They provided us with all the quality materials, tools, and personal instructions need for each project. She even assisted us when we doubted our ability. Kathy, the owner, was right there helping as needed while working with another group also. We never felt rushed. We brought a charcuterie tray and drinks with us to nibble and sip on as we worked. Such fun!! Keep in mind when picking projects and setting aside enough time to complete them, that the smaller signs could take an hour, the large ones can take two hours, and the real big ones can take even longer. If you like to have fun I recommend going to the WAKA website and signing up for next season. You can either get a group together or if you sign up solo you will be assigned to a team. This is a perfect organization to join if are new to town or just looking to network. The games were on Thursday nights. They started at 7 p.m. with another round starting up at 8 p.m. Sometimes there were double headers, which, I almost liked even more because it was like getting in extra practice time! I would say bring a big can of bug spray because I did get eaten alive during the games. The theme nights were so much fun! This year we kicked it off with superhero night, followed by PROM, Pirate and a Nautical themed night. You do get a pretty cool WAKA tee shirt for joining the leauge. After the games, a big lot of us head over to Neighbors to get some beers. Which is an added bonus because if your team dressed up the best on the theme nights, you could win pitchers of beer. I also like the mid season and end of season parties on the agenda too. All in all, 99.65% of the people are a bunch of big ole goofballs that like to have fun. Yeah, there are some people that are a little TOO hardcore about kickball and there are some people who don't show up (you have to have a min. about of players on the field to play) which can damper the party, but all in all the good sucker punches the bad in the face with awesome. I am SO MAD...I took a half a day off from work (those don't come easy) to take my teenage daughter…read moreto the pool for a mother /daughter outing. We arrived at the pool about 12:20 and PAID our $3 each ( $6 total) to go enjoy the POOL and the sun...We were there about 1/2 hr and the whistle blew for the kids to get out. We were pleased that they were not that busy. So the kids got out for the required 15 minutes. Again the whistle blew and in went the kids. I went to get wet again and swam for about 10 minutes and went back to lay out. Noel checked the smartphone and it was 1:25..we had been here barely an hour. A lifeguard came over and said EXCUSE ME we are closing the pool because a child had an accident in the pool ..she said we had to leave...I thought WELL SHOOT....so we gathered our stuff to leave and waited in line to get a pool pass to come back (RAINCHECK) since we hadn't been there as long as we had wanted to be...WE WERE FORCED TO LEAVE..it wasn't like we decided on our own to leave...The guy said I am sorry but you have been here too long and we can not give you a refund or pass. I can understand that rule if and when someone leaves because they want to leave but NOT WHEN THEY ARE FORCED....I wasn't with any small children...I realize accidents happen but WHY should I be out DUE TO THE FACT SOMEONE ELSE didn't follow up with their kid and make sure they went to the POTTY in the POTTY and NOT the POOL... I want my money back or a pass...I feel I was cheated and they are hiding behind a rule that they MADE...I feel that because I answered the question about my length of time there HONESTLY and didn't lie about how long I was there...I should get my 2 pool passes. I will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS POOL AGAIN...I am so MAD at them..I feel like I was robbed...I know it was ONLY $6 BUT it was MY $6....
