The real ambiance is Chioggia with its Venice-like feel and small bridges spanning canals. I came more for the views than for the food and it was mid-day so I wasn't ready for a full meal. This was the only place I ate so you have to take this review in a vacuum. I could give more perspective if I tried a few other places in the area.

The menu is always seasonal and comprised of items that are available at any particular time. This is as natural and traditional a cuisine of the area as you will ever find. The restaurant keeps old gastronomic traditions but merges them with 21st centuries technologies. The restaurants hosts a yearly 'carbonara'. An antique and special tradition where wood is slowly burned in a controlled environment/temperature to produce coal. The coal is then used to infuse aroma in many dishes that are produced at the restaurant during the year. I love this small little town. It reminds me of what Italy used to be centuries ago.
