We split the platter of meats, lasagna, tortellini, tagliatelle and ragu, and grilled veggies. The lasagna was soft, pillowy, and decadent without being heavy, the tagliatelle was al dente and flavorful, and the tortellini stuffed with creamy ricotta. For dessert we split a generous portion of tiramisu, which was creamy and rich. We had a couple bottles of Chianti. The ambiance is relaxing with a neighborhood vibes. They didn't have any tables outside so we were seated inside. Service (3.5/5): No WiFi unfortunately which isn't great for an international traveler like me. Standard European service. Not terribly friendly and not terribly efficient but I would say they were a bit more attentive than the norm. They did hook us up with some complimentary limoncello shots which was a really nice touch. Ambiance (3.5/5): A little quieter since it's off the beaten path which I like. A pleasant, homey restaurant. Drinks (4.5/5): We shared a bottle of wine. And the aforementioned limoncello shots. Food (4/5): We went with their pasta for two deal where each person gets three different types of pasta that you choose from six or so options. I love getting a variety of dishes so this was a nice way to do it. Not huge portions given the price but still delicious. The dishes were served to us quickly and we got to try some pastas we had never heard of. Overall: When in Bologna, Osteria Broccaindosso makes for a fine choice. It's a 15-minute walk or so from the center of town.

I agreed, and my seafood was nothing less. The ambiance on a quiet side street (maybe in the Jewish quarter) was a great way to enjoy a Bolognese night.

It was an amazing artichoke and cheese concoction with a shredded artichoke salad on the side. The pastas were all very good. The bolognese had tender meat with a tasty sauce. The tortellini in beef broth is also a local winter dish. The tortellini were filled with a nice mixture of beef and cheese with a full bodied beef broth. A simple but delicious dish! I'm usually not a truffle fan but the spaghetti with black truffles had a good balance of truffle flavor without being overpowering. The scalloping with cheese and Parma ham was tasty. The meat was tender, the cheese side decadent and the ham added a bit of salty flavor. We were too full for dessert!

After being sat down my table decided to order the mozzarella bites and our server's choice of white wine to begin with. Our server selected a wine that he had me try before giving me the entire bottle. I appreciated him letting me try the wine and asking what I wanted in the wine before selecting it. Afterwards we received our mozzarella bites that includes mini mozzarella balls, basil, and tomatoes. This was a refreshing appetizer that was a great start to our eating experience. We then placed our order for our main course. I ordered the tagliatelle al ragu bolognese. Once the dish came out the owner of the restaurant asked if I would like parmesan and he sprinkled the perfect amount. This pasta was extremely delicious and I ate every last bite. I plan to order both of these dishes again in the future. Additionally, we did not order a dessert but the owner insisted that we try the tiramisu. Thankfully, the owner gave us two slices that we devoured instantly. Along with the other two dishes, I will definitely order the tiramisu. Overall, Ristorante Teresina has an amazing menu, wonderful environment, and excellent service. All three of these aspects are why I will return to this restaurant!

As she was planning to seat us, a younger woman walked in and looked us, then said something to the old lady, then told us there was no table for us. That's all and she walked away! Clearly she was not happy to seen couple of Asian wants to have lunch in her place! Well, that's her losses. We walked out and eat a restaurant right around the corner with amazing foods and services. At the end, we are so glad that we didn't eat there. Judging by the attitude, I won't be expecting their foods would good at all. So, if you are visiting Bologna, avoiding this place by all means!
