The wives began to run the host stand and check people out while the men took orders and ran the food. As I often do, I left it up to the owners to suggest items from the menu. For the appetizers we went with a variety plate of panelle and some eggplant type relish. This was very good. The other appetizer of "sardine balls" must be an acquired taste as I didn't care for it but my dining companion enjoyed them. For our main course I had the spaghetti and clams which was delicious and my friend went with the lobster filled ravioli. Know if you order this last dish that you must like curry as it uses a lot of it for seasoning. All of that plus a few glasses of house wine and a couple of beers came to about 75 EU which seemed reasonable for the amount of food.
