I will say that the hallways (at least on the fourth floor) are dim and disorienting. The black and white vertical stripes gave us a sense of nausea if we shook our heads from side to side, and then using the key card to open the door was always a challenge. I fear a person with migraine disorder or other sensitivity would find the hallways, maybe the rooms, painful and would not be able to tolerate, so if that is a concern I would not recommend. Overall, our stay was wonderful, the staff was friendly and helpful and the room clean and comfortable. Will definitely return to stay next time we have a weekend in the city.

Not only, did I have to wait an hour because Tim "forgot" that we had an appointment to see the apartment, but, when I asked about renting a short term stay in this condo building he said no problem. My parents, who were supposed to stay there, canceled their hotel reservations, so they could stay in this place and two weeks before they are supposed to come, Tim sends them an email saying that NYC is cracking down on rentals and he "can't rent the apartment to them." The response was as follows "I represent people with private apartments and they are picky about who they rent to, obviously for security reasons and their peace of mind. For you to invite up to 12 extra people into their home for a party won't settle well." I responded that I found it to be insulting as it was to be a civilized dinner party and that this communication seemed very unprofessional and not to contact me again that I had found a property suiting my needs elsewhere .However, I was contacted with the following- "How you interpreted is up to you. I have no hosts willing to rent their apartment for use such as a gathering of people other than those who rented the place...or for a civilized dinner party. And to waste your time never recommending my services tells me you would have been problematic if we proceeded. Glad you found something. Judith" You make the choice- just be aware that this Kitty has her claws out and clearly cannot cater to either high society or the general civilized population. RUDE!!!!
