The broads of course were lovely, and I plan to holiday like this again, and I have to say I would book with these guys. You can get yourself early bird discounts, which is a great thing to look out for, and when we had an unfortunate issue when we were trying to cross breydon water (getting stuck on full power, not a silly prank as we first thought, and a little frightening), it was easily fixed, and if I'm right, compensated for after the event since it messed with our travel plans. I'd definitely recommend holidaying on the broads to anyone.

We got picked up by a friendly man, who helped us with our bags, and we travelled to the airport in a lovely comfortable and clean car. When we came back, our flight was nearly 45 minutes early, but when we walked into departures, the guy was there waiting for us. He mentioned that he had been following the flight online, so he knew exactly when it was coming in. We thought that this was a very nice touch. We will definitely be using Lion Travel again.

They were £3.95 and absolutely huge, and delicious, quite the best I have had for a while. But as Im posting I would observe that most of the food being served around us looked absolutely fantastic. Some were having steaks others just snacks like baguettes etc. There were also some delicious looking cakes in a cool display . Yes the place looks like any other seaside cafe, but certainly a class above many I have been to.

In the earlier days, living in West London and booking Easyjet, the cheap rate airline, I thought…read moreit is more convenient to take a bus to Stansted. This was a 1.5 hour travel and when there was an accident and traffic jam it turned in to a nerve racking experience. However, from West London, I avoid getting on to the tube, carrying my luggage for miles and paying for a tube and expensive Stansted express ticket. All perceptions I threw over board when using the Standsted Express, which leaves from Liverpool. This train leaves as frequently as every 15 minutes, but please note, as fast and convenient the train is, the journey time takes 46 minutes. Please remember two point: Ticket: If possible, purchase your ticket in advance online but do not pick it up last minute. I almost missed my flight while queuing for 30 minutes to pick up my ordered tickets at the train station!!! (Fridays are the worst by the way.) Nowadays I purchase my ticket a couple of days before hand online, as I get £2 discount and pick it up when passing Liverpool street station in advance. An other word of warning - even Stansted Express can be delayed due to mechanical failure. Once me and more then 300 people were made to get out of the train and alternative transports such as taxis and buses were organised. Leave yourself enough travel time...
