My lesson in Proper Dryer Loading Etiquette came at a price, which was actually affordable. It was only a year or so ago that Drew came to our home to put that very same dryer drum belt back on after it popped off after I turned the drum manually. That was actually Lesson #1 in Proper Dryer Loading Etiquette because who knew that dryer drum belts were such sensitive manufactured parts? As he did that first time, Drew arrived ahead of our appointment time, quickly set to work and rapidly finished the job. And as part of the service, he cleared out the lint trap below the dryer drum. Manning's has been our sole major appliance repair service for a long time. Look at my previous reviews. I mean, REALLY look at them. I've been posting about them since 2015 which is when I started writing reviews on Yelp. We actually first called them about a year or two before that. Drew might do warranty repairs on appliances but if not, well the best thing about a warranty running out is that while you'll have to pay for the service call, you get to entrust your appliance to Drew for an expert repair. In our experience, warranty repair service companies have always been hit and miss. Drew's always dependable and his work is top notch. Do we like spending money on repairs for malfunctioning appliances? Not a chance. Do we enjoy having Manning's Appliance Service as our go-to for making those repairs? You bet.

They measured carefully to ensure that the refrigerator would fit before they unboxed the refrigerator. They were gracious and efficient and even suggested a way we could solve a problem with a drawer really close to the refrigerator. This was not our first exprerience at Metropolitan Appliance, and it won't be the last. The professionalism of both the sales staff and the installers was outstanding.

There's a reason this store has only 2 stars. Be careful…read more I bought a Kohler standby generator for over $15k. Lowe's had a subcontractor (Nexus Electric) install it. What should have taken 2-3 days took 5 weeks. Their subcontractor went out of business before the job was completed but their electrician kept showing up to try to figure out and complete the installation. He properly connected the generator to our panel but lacked knowledge about and experience with Kohler generators. Nexus wasn't certified to install Kohlers. Their electrician couldn't figure out how to properly set up the battery. On his last day here (when he admitted he wasn't coordinating his efforts or hours with Lowe's and I asked him to leave) he yelled "Go back to California!" Lowe's had a certified installer from Washington Electric finish the job and financially compensated me for this unpleasant experience but in my opinion their compensation wasn't enough. I've left out details of my experience in the interest of brevity, but take my word, Lowe's dropped the ball numerous times. Bottom line: BEWARE.
