My favorite Home Goods. Worth the drive from up north and to pay the toll because it always has good finds, clean, and organized

I intend to write a letter to their corporate office. I have visited this HomeGoods on multiple occasions and the staff there are incredibly rude. But my most recent visit was completely un-called for. I am a frequent flyer at HomeGoods..my main stores are Federal Way and Issaquah....they have such nice staff that i always feel welcome. During this last visit on January 24th I almost left the store crying. There was a lady who worked there, blonde hair, who as soon as i walked in looked me up and down. She was so obvious that i thougth perhaps she has something to say so i stopped and looked her in the eyes. She then walked away. I proceeded to the kids section and was talking with my kids and every time i say something i hear this laughing. I must have said 15 different things that were then followed by laughter. And turns out this person worked there as well. I found this out as she came to put something on a kid shelf, bumped my cart and items fell out of my cart and then she walked away. I was so distraught that she was laughing at me that i went to check out. The checkout lady was no help at all and just down right rude. This is the worst way i have been treated when going to spend money there. I spent $100 on toys alone...You can't mind your business and refrain from laughing while i'm shopping? read more

This was my second good trip to home goods. Botth were almost perfect.. the first time i got a desk and everyone was extremely helpful and lifted it into the car for me. The second time, i bought 2 rugs and the lady who took them down for me was super nice and sweet. What i like about the experience both times is how easy it was to find someone to help me. On both trips, the store was packed with customers. Well, packed for gig harbor... lol... (cuz in miami everything is packed)... but even being busy, i had someone helping me with my purchase within a minute each time. read more

The fact that I'm only the third person to review this location just shows the concensus of how many people in the area use or even know about Yelp. Just saying lol The Gig Harbor HomeGoods location is the smaller of HomeGoods stores within the area. Being it's a part of TJX companies, here you will find many great deals as their other stores TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Sierra Trading Post. HomeGoods specializes in... Well, home goods. You can find a lot of variety of decorations, home accents to dishware, bath, and bedding accessories! A lot of people don't seem to grasp that concept of what is actually sold here, there's no major appliances, no beds, and no cribs. It's house accessories such as rugs, chairs, comforter sets. The great thing about this store is that every thing is unique, it's open stock. Some things you will see during the season others stuff you'll never see again which is a bummer if you pass on buying it!! Truth be told this a wonderful place if you are looking to save money as many of their items (sometimes top brands) are priced way lower than department stores but you also have to remember this isn't a bargain store. Just like Marshall's and TJ Maxx, this store is a part of a family of stores that are able to price items low because the items is either discontinued, slightly flawed, or even overstock that's bought out so expect to get some things that aren't perfect. Not saying they don't have the best of quality but this isn't Nordstrom. So just a bit of FYI when you are coming here. I've enjoyed shopping at the Federal Way store, so coming to this one is a breeze being there's barely traffic if you are coming from across the bridge. Lots of parking space and there's also Marshall's right across so even better!! Two stores and one trip. read more

I like walking through home store and have been going there since they open. But I don't usually buy anything. This is because I usually can't find anything I really want. I have bought a few items like sheets, towels, coffee cups, etc. I never leave there feeling satisfied. One time there was a couch I liked, but it was broken and I asked for a little discount and they would not give it to me. It was broken! Today, I found some cute dishes that I bought. I was hugely disappointed when I came home and the stickers for sale with price and sale price ( 2 stickers) were stuck on and impossible to get off. If they weren't on the top of the dish, it wouldn't bother me as much if it was on the bottom like the coffee cups I bought in the past. It was so impossible to get off without using Goo removal. These dishes said to only hand wash gently, no dishwasher because they were real silver. A razor could not even get it off. I wish they would think of the customer going home with the products. Next time, I will ask them to take off their stickers for me. read more

So we recently relocated to Gig Harbor, and was pleased to find a Home Goods store, I was disappointed how small it was with limited inventory, but what was most disturbing was both times my husband and I were in the store, we were stalked by loss prevention, they were not suttle at all, it was the most uncomfortable experience shopping ever, I most certainly will not be going back to that store again, I would rather travel to a bigger store, and hope that the loss prevention are better at disguising their stalking. read more

Fun place to shop and great prices. I have always found store to be clean and oraganized with helpful staff and quick checkout.

My husband and I love this store! We live in Gig Harbor and stop in frequently to see what's new. I am shocked to see such negative reviews on Yelp. Our experience has never been anything other than excellent. It is a smaller store than some other locations, but still has great stuff at great prices! They always have unique finds. So im agreeing with the other negative reviews about this home goods store. Seriously need to work on their customer service. Ridiculous.....i also was mistreated and even questioned by a very rude older blonde lady....she acted like i was suspect for some reason. I had asked her to hold an item for me and i had been contemplating exchanging an item i brought in with me. But i was waiting for my sister to give her opinion so i left then returned to buy the items and exchange my item but i got a foul taste in my mouth after the blonde came at me asking if i was going to pay for the item i already purchased. I said i already had i asked her if she wanted to see my receipt. She said yes so i handed it to her and aaid make sure everything matches. It did and she didnt apologize she just smugly handed my receipt back. Whatever i never felt so horrified. How flipping rude. I wont be returning to this store for anything. read more

One of my biggest pet peeves is bad customer service.. And that's exactly what I got here. If you don't want to work with the public, find a job where you don't have to! Joyce called me over to the register and that was her only interaction with me throughout the whole transaction. No "hello," no "bye," nothing. I think that is so rude. read more

Great selection of housewares and holiday decor. All the aisles were well stocked and organized. I've been to multiple Homegoods in WA and this by far had the best Christmas selection. If you're looking for some great stuff to add to your home this holiday you should definitely stop in here! read more

Customer service is terrible and awkward. The store carries the same beautiful products as all Home Goods but the staff is socially awkward and it's unacceptable in certain situations for customer service. read more
