Our previously booked hotel (shoutout Ramada Inn in Platt) managed to take our money from a non refundable pre booked reservation then sell our room to someone else. Which ok stuff happens. But then they proceeded to be absolute jerks about it lol. So Tyler was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise highly unpleasant evening for us. It's why we reserved the place. They also need to remove the signs in the pool area that indicate a "pool & spa." The manager was less than helpful, refusing to remedy in any way even after I offered to check out (I checked in only 2-3 hours earlier). She placated me by handing me the general manager's business card & to call on Monday. RUN from this place, as there are better options available in town.

Walking into the lobby was our first sign that we should have left immediately. The overwhelming odor was impossible to ignore and honestly made us gag. Unfortunately, because it was late and we were exhausted, we tried to make the best of it. We were traveling with two cats and specifically chose this hotel because it advertised itself as pet-friendly. Upon check-in, we were informed that they only have one room dedicated to cats, which is something that should be clearly disclosed before booking. That room, however, was in extremely poor condition. The smell in the room was just as bad as the lobby--strong, stale, and unbearable. We tried to tolerate it, but it quickly became too much. We went back to the front desk to ask for another room or a refund, and both were denied. The only solution offered was an air freshener, which did nothing to address the underlying issue. I have stayed at many hotels that allow cats, and there is no logical reason a room or lobby should smell this bad. Being pet-friendly does not mean sacrificing basic cleanliness. I would not stay here again and strongly recommend looking elsewhere, especially if you're traveling with pets or arriving late with limited options.

Shannen helped us out for a last minute hotel room and was extremely friendly and helpful. Kevin was all smiles at 6am, friendly, attentive and helped us out this morning. I didn't get the maintenance man's name but he was so nice and polite as well. Room was super clean and had everything you needed and beds were comfortable. Breakfast had great choices and was fully stocked even after the huge crowd at 6am. I highly recommend to anyone driving through and need a place to sleep.

The lack of individual temperature control is the only downside. We liked cold room - so we closed the bathroom (where the heat was really pumping), cracked a window & turned on the ceiling fan. It was perfect. The King bed was comfortable & the room smelled fresh. We loved that there's a small table to eat at & that there were tables on both bedsides. The style is old-school homey... which could feel dated or classic, depending on your view. The price point was great & everything we were going to was in walking distance. A fabulous find!
