The bathrooms are clean and upgraded. We saw they had a beach for swimming and ended up taking a refreshing dip in our clothes . Did I mention they are dog friendly and have a small playground for the kids. If you are just passing thru or looking for a few days to relax don't hesitate to stay here. Yes there is a slight bit of road noise but not bad at all.

On the grounds are a baseball field, water park, walking trail and playgrounds. There is no camp host or "security" but local neighbors walking the trail say it's a very safe area. Nice residential atmosphere. You like the sound of trains at night ? You'll love it here! If that noise or the slight fragrance cow dung offends you, don't stop. The easy in and out plus adequate parking is a plus. I expect during baseball games the lot may be temporarily congested.

After…read morereading several terrible recent reviews about the condition and management of the park, I decided it would be best to stay elsewhere. Before cancelling, I reviewed my reservation confirmation, which clearly stated that cancellations made more than 30 days in advance would receive a refund of the deposit minus a $35 booking fee. Since I was well outside the 30-day window, I called today to cancel. I was told the campground is now under new management and they are not honoring any previous policies or agreements, so I would not receive any refund at all. I explained that the recent negative reviews were the reason I no longer felt comfortable staying there. The person I spoke with simply repeated "no refund" and then hung up on me. Very disappointing and unprofessional customer service. Be aware before booking here, especially if you expect them to honor their written cancellation policies. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

The staff was accommodating to my needs and were willing to help anytime I needed assistance. They provided information on a great local RV repair man (Kent's Mobile RV Repair). Close to everything in North Platte, including some local attractions. Sites were easily accessible and kept up. I felt very safe and other tenants were kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Every site has a concrete pad, which is super easy to level your RV, waterl, sewer, and electric! We also received a good same discount. The price was amazing. Very affordable. The showers, restroom and laundry facilities are all in one location. Everything is very clean. The place is very quiet. If you bring your bikes, there are miles of bicycle trails around the camp ground, and the archway which is all connected by bike or road. I would highly recommend.

The forest is the largest hand planted forest in the US, beautiful pine trees right in the middle of the plains. So many amenities, we enjoyed horseback riding, archery, and hiking.
