This travel store is the perfect place to find a Christmas, birthday, misc gift for your hard-to-buy-for friends. It also has a great selection of luggage. They also let me find a quiet corner to nurse my baby in... which was much better than returning to a bench in the busy, public mall walkway. 5 stars! I never thought luggage shopping could be this wonderful! Zac was phenomenal. I went to Travel Outfitters on a mission to see if they would have the luggage I wanted. I was undecided between 2 different series of Briggs and Riley pieces. First of all, I was very impressed that they carried both series and had them on display. Zac was very knowledgeable and demonstrated all the features. He listened to everything I had to say and understood what was important to me. Zac helped me select other pieces that I thought would be useful and I can honestly say, I am beyond thrilled with my purchases. I am very happy that I decided to go to Travel Outfitters. I would not normally buy luggage in a mall but i was in there on day in a rush. They surprised me, very knowledgable and as a person who travels for a living it was very helpful. Bought my all time favorite make up case and a really nice durable piece of luggage with a great warranty. Turns out they keep you in the system and was easily able to look up my purchase after 3 years and just like that took my luggage and fixed it for free. Amazing that kind of customer service. Very nice luggage store with knowledgeable salespeople. If you are looking for higher end luggage that is actually very sturdy and reliable, this is the place for you. The luggage that I was looking at came with a two year warranty that you can replace with normal wear and tear. Just came back from a great trip to Europe, made especially great because of the advice from the Manager of the Chandler store! I can in just for a travel charger and because of her advice, I left with a few items (an RFID wallet for one) that I didn't know I needed and I DID! Without the advice of Traveler Outfitters, my trip would not have been as enjoyable! Doing one star only because there are no negative stars. I was shopping for a bag and the manager (!) of the store was incredibly rude and completely oblivious to her behavior. Another associate was showing me other items and the manager rudely shoved the ones I was considering across the countertop even though I was still looking at them. After I called her on it, all she had to say for herself was a (weak) "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention." Really??!! Isn't that what you are there for? Isn't the customer the whole reason you are there?! She did not offer any other apology or explanation that sounded even half way genuine. Her sales associate also looked shocked at this rude managers behavior. I will not shop there again. read more

i travel for a living... i was visiting the phoenix area recently and needed to replace my luggage... and thought this would be a good time to compare a couple options.. i purchased a bag from Travel Outfitters in Chandler... (Briggs & Riley)... and a bag (Victrionix) from Bag n' Baggage... (www.bagnbaggage.com Scottsdale location)... i took both to hotel to see which would fit my travel needs best... after configuring my items i decided on the Victrionix ... i went to Travel Outfitters to return the Briggs & Riley and apparently during my configuring the PRICE TAG was no longer on the bag... keep in mind.. i am returning an UNUSED BRAND NEW BAG IN BRAND NEW CONDITION THAT HAS NEVER EVEN BEEN ROLLED OUTSIDE.. purchased within a week... with my receipt.. with all the paper stuffing... all of the warranty info.. pamphlets etc.. but alas without the price tag.. (was it on there when i purchased it???)... the kid working said he wasn't allowed to take anything back without the original price tag... i called the next morning... and spoke to a woman who said she would call the manager and see if they could make an exception... she called back and said to come in on monday... i asked if she would return it then.. the gal said.. we can't take anything back without the PRICE TAG on it but the manager would "deal with me" on monday ... I was leaving the area on Sunday so that wouldn't work for me... i ended up returning the Victrionix to Bag n' Baggage (as i couldn't afford to keep both bags).. and as a comparison i deliberately removed the price tag from it to see how they would react... they took it back.. no questions asked.. young kid working was absolutely charming and helpful.. so moral of this long story.. if you need luggage go to BAG N BAGGAGE!!!!! read more

went in mall to just waste time. while at mall saw this store thought never seen it before. Very small figured why not. when came in there was 2 ladies sitting in back. the younger one asked if she could help me. then this older lady came out all grumpy looking. tried with selling me a overpriced bag fro a company never heard of. said zipper dont break. for the prices they ask would hope hope not. The customer service in the store is poor and all smashed together junking looking store younger lady was writing something in what looked like a notebook. when a computer was right in front of her. just looked very 2nd rate. read more
