During the planning process, Susan put up with our multiple requests to change certain plans, adventures, etc. and she was able to accommodate every single request! Since we were mostly there to visit family, we didn't do a whole lot of sightseeing but Susan still executed a flawless itinerary for us by coordinating all of the flights, transportation, drivers, guides, etc. but also mixed in some touring as well. I think most travel agencies only work with clients who are traveling to experience the destination, so even more kudos to Susan for arranging this all for us. Her team in India is exceptional. We had points of contact and when there was a little mix-up with our room in Goa, they worked diligently with our resort to make it right. There was ALWAYS someone we could contact, night or day, and they were accommodating when we changed some plans on the fly as well. Our driver, George, stole from us and then told a false story about it! when waiting for the bridesmaids to descend, someone in the party paid him in cash when we were at the hotel (to my understanding, they're not even supposed to take payment beforehand, and he even angrily counted the money in front of him). We then had to go around the entire arena after he dropped us off at the incorrect entrance, which presented another problem. Unaware that someone in the party had already paid him, the matron of honor and bride gave him another cash gratuity. Without uttering a word, he accepted the packet. When the bride's family and I realized the next day that we had paid him twice, we called the firm. However, the driver insisted that our party member had never paid him, despite the fact that several witnesses had seen the money! As long as this dishonest driver continues to operate, we will NEVER suggest this company to anyone. They were really difficult to work with in attempting to make things right, and they never offered us an apology or a refund. If I could, I would rate something with a negative star. Very dissatisfied with the service we got on this important day.

During our holiday party, the driver refused to transport employees to pre-approved locations--despite written confirmation at the time of booking, which I retained. The three stops were all within half a mile of each other, and the venue itself was only three miles away, making the refusal both illogical and unnecessary. The driver was abrasive with our employees, and dispatch was equally unpleasant. While I understand the driver was following instructions, his tone and handling of the situation were entirely within his control and were unprofessional. The only resolution offered was removal of the driver's tip, which failed to address the broader issue of how the situation was managed by the team as a whole. Despite this, I gave Elite another opportunity for a Yankees game outing--and unfortunately, it was another poor experience. The bus's air conditioning was not functioning on the way down in 80-degree weather, making the ride extremely uncomfortable. We arrived at the stadium hot, sweaty, and exhausted. When I followed up the next day, the manager, Chelsea, was dismissive and unwilling to take any responsibility for the malfunctioning A/C or radio, citing that the vehicle had passed inspection prior to dispatch. She also questioned why I didn't report the issue immediately when the bus arrived, which was frustrating and misplaced. We were communicating with Ricardo (our very pleasant driver) how hot it was and he said it wasn't working properly. (Note: the bus arrived @ 4pm and I emailed them at 5:30pm.) The bottom line though is that it's unclear what could have been done mid-trip to resolve a mechanical issue, and placing that burden on the customer is unreasonable. There appears to be a consistent lack of accountability across the organization. The only remedy offered in both instances was removing the driver's tip, which does not address the root problems. The fact that their only proposed resolution is to remove the driver's tip is telling of how they treat their employees. This was an opportunity to make things right, but instead reinforced my decision not to use Elite again--and to advise others to avoid them as well.

We tightly packed a cooler and was greeted by an employee so she could help us load the onboard coolers with our drinks and snacks. She then directed me to the lirr train station to park as there is no parking on site (they should change the email so it doesn't state Dublin Deck anymore). Kevin was our host and Bill was our captain. Kevin helped facilitate some drinking games and Bill made the ride a breeze. The bathroom on board was the perfect size and worked out well even with such a large group. Cruising through the water dancing to some of our favorite music and cheering on other boaters as they passed by made for an awesome experience. Perfect for bachelorette parties, birthday parties and even signing up for a public tour and riding solo. I can't imagine anyone having a bad time.
