I called her back numerous times with no response. I then called the actual agency and spoke with someone directly. I left all my information again and she said she would get back to me. If I could give zero stars I would. Why do people use travel agents? So we don't have to do research. We trust that when we tell the agent what type of trip we are looking for that the travel agent will listen & has enough knowledge to fulfill this. Andrea at Blue Ribbon failed big time!! We stopped in after going to another travel agency & we were still price shopping. We explained we wanted to take a spur of the moment trip. In a week. We had narrowed it down to Playa del Carmen, Mexico. We wanted to be able to go over to Cozumel easily. We explained all we wanted was a fun resort & good food. After showing us several different options we said we would think it over & be in touch. My boyfriend e-mailed her the following day to set up one of the trips. We decided on the Secrets resort which she said filled all our requirements & she recommended. Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun. Fast forward to 2 days before we are to leave for our trip. We still haven't received any travel documents which were supposed to be delivered to our home. We went down to the office. Our agent was "off that day" & we were told we were going to have to wait while they contacted her to get an answer for us. A few minutes later, there she is but someone else is going to have to help us because she has someone at her desk. When we finally got to the resort we were not ready for what we found. The resort was horrific. The food was inedible. The small pool (one small swim up bar) was the main source for entertainment & it was seriously lacking. Water aerobics & pool Zumba is hardly what I consider a fun resort. We went next door to the Dreams resort for food & tried to transfer to that hotel but it wasn't possible. When we tried to make arrangements to go to Cozumel we realized we were not booked at the resort we chose. She booked us & we were at Secrets Isla Mujeres. We didn't even realize because the paperwork was late, we trusted our travel agent to fulfill our requests and to know what the resorts offered & it was another Secrets resort. This was by far the WORST vacation I have ever taken. We would not return to Blue Ribbon or recommend Andrea for anything regarding travel plans. Huge disappointment! read more

It was great working with Kathleen O'Connell from Blue Ribbon! We planned an entire vacation around visiting 4 Major League Ballparks and a many other sites during a 10-day, last minute trip. She helped us find the right hotels in the cities with great views and close to the sites we wanted to see. She also helped us minimize driving and parking fees. Andrea and the entire team at Blue Ribbon Travel were nothing but a pleasure to work with. When planning a girls trip to Punta Cana and none of us ever been there before we decided to reach out to a travel agent for more insight and advice. Andrea was recommended to me from a coworker who used her in the past and was also pleased with her service. After one phone call with Andrea and telling her exactly what we were looking for she recommended the Hard Rock Punta Cana Hotel & Casino. My friend and I were unsure at first but decided to trust the experts. We couldn't have been happier that we did. Even traveling during Covid, Andrea was right on the money about what they had to offer us. The Hard Rock had every single thing we were looking for in a 30 something's girls trip! Our flight times and arrangements were perfect, the price was so reasonable for everything we got, and no matter what concern I (we) had Andrea was always just a phone call away. We had one small glitch while there when we tried to confirm our transfer back to the airport the day before we left. It was no one's fault our cell service was just a little in and out from being in another country. I called Andrea's office explained we were there and having communication issues with the company themselves and Andrea immediately dropped what she was doing and confirmed it all for us, followed up with a text and a call to make sure we were aware it was taken care of, and even followed up after our return to make sure we were happy with our vacation, her service, etc. I am so happy we went through Blue Ribbon Travel, Andrea and her team.
