Where to begin? Let's just say if you are a fan of Walt Disney, the Disney company, or even just…read moreDisneyland the resort in general, this is a MUST! Don't walk, RUN to book this experience! Don't have someone willing to pay $160 for the tour? No problem, go solo like I did! I also wasn't the only one solo if you fear that you will feel like everyone is staring you are the odd one out. This is truly magical, and quite frankly left many in my group in tears! My tour was in February and I'm still gushing over this experience! As a kid, I always walked Main Street pointing at the lamp wondering what was up there. I longed one day to see it, just like Club 33 (still waiting lol). I had seen other tours, but my friend didn't want to pay any additional money past the ticket admission so I resigned to not going. After COVID, I knew when these returned that I would make the tour even if it was by my lonesome. I still like to think the spirit of Walt was with me, so I wasn't alone!!! The tour will start by walking down Main Street USA with lots of fun facts at Great Moments With Lincoln, store fronts, the refreshment center, etc. Don't want to spoil any of the fun stuff shared so you can experience the magic yourself. You will make your way to the backstage area to go up to Walt's apartment, which they just added ADA access if you know anyone who hasn't been able to partake in the tours before! Once you enter Walt's Apartment, there are no photos allowed besides through the photo pass photographer. Wear your magic band for easy scanning! You will get to see various items in the room, and even see the inspiration to the menu item of chili on the menu at Carnation Cafe. Once you finish seeing the gorgeous apartment that makes you step in Walt's footsteps as he envisioned and brought to life, the happiest place on earth, you will get to step out onto the patio just opened to the public for this tour this year! Your amazing VIP tour guide will pass out your choice of beverage selected and the cookie. If you have a nut allergy and cannot have the cookie, they will offer you a voucher you can use at a food cart! Love the inclusiveness Disney! What an amazing way to relax and soak in the magic you just encountered. This tour is something you will cherish for years to come! Honestly, writing this has made me want to book again.

You meet in the tour area near the guest relations building on Main St. Your tour guide who in our case his name was Sean gave us listening devices so we could hear him along the tour route. There was a group of about 10 or so on the tour. There are some interesting facts you learn about Main St as you work your way down. First, meet Tilly the ticket taker at the Main St cinemas. She's not only dressed for the period but they change her outfit to match the different seasons. Above the storefronts are various names written that are either disguised in meaning or actual names. These are all the people who helped contribute to the making of Disneyland. Is there something for Walt himself? Yes indeed, there is a door with his name on it and you must look on the right side of Main St to find it. It is interesting to note that Disneyland does not have a utilitor system underground like in the Magic Kingdom. There are underground areas for cast members but not a big complex system that runs the entire length of the park. Our tour also took us to some interesting places along Main St which included the Welte Orchestration which is the largest self playing pipe organ. It is located in the Penny arcade towards the back. Every so often it will play a tune from a prerecorded roll but if you don't want to wait you can get it to play for a small fee. Another interesting site is the refreshment corner. Mostly devoted to Coca Cola with original glass bottles in the windows, it is noted for the "design error" that took place when they were interspersing the different color red and white bulbs along the interior ceiling of the entrance. So they made a half red and half white bulb. See if you can spot it on your next visit. Sean made sure as we made our stops that we were in shaded areas to stand. From there we went "backstage" to tour the recreation of Walt's apartment. Since you are backstage no photography is allowed but they have photo pass photographers on site to take your picture at a couple of locations in the apartment Walt's apartment is small and he and his wife Lillian had two sofas that converted into beds. The motif is antique and floral since that is what Lillian loved. You'll see interesting things such as the gramophone, the toys on the floor for when their grandchildren visited, the tiny kitchen with retro appliances and of course the famous round light that adorns the window. This is in Walt's memory of his constant presence there and remains lit at all times. You can easily spot it from outside. We also got to see the bathroom and learned that once there was a firepole that ran up to the unit. That firepole was sealed off when one small boy tried to climb it and discovered Walt himself. So many tidbits. Afterwards we sat out on the terrace and had a giant shortbread cookie with the tour's name on it and drink of choice. It was great relaxing here in the sun and watching the people go by much like Walt did. We also got to chat with the other tour members and ask questions for Sean. For some reason I did not know about the souvenir lanyards and we did not get any. Nevertheless my name badge has the same design and will serve as my keepsake. The Magic Kingdom counterpart: Equal-Disney's World's closest counterpart is their famed "Keys to the Kingdom" tour-(reviewed separately) which I had the opportunity to take twice. That tour goes into much detail about Main St and how it was built and their surrounding windows. That tour is longer but it does provide a walk through the famous utilitor system. This tour is a hidden gem and sure it is more expensive than the others but for an opportunity to see life as Walt Disney saw it and see where he lived more than makes up for the cost. I highly recommend this tour and will take it again if I am able to visit again. Located near the left side once inside the park entrance on Main St in Disneyland, you are required to check in at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time.

This review is for the January 2026 Thailand tour…read more What an amazing trip, as we are still talking about it. Supera did an excellent job in showing us the highlights of this beautiful country. We were spoiled and treated like VIPs throughout. Highlights include: Temples - so many Buddhist temples, beautiful and unique. Elephant sanctuary - A highlight! Up close and personal with these majestic creatures. We walked with them, made and fed them medicinal treats. Tuk Tuk tour - a VIP tour of the streets of Chang Mai. So fun and enjoyable. Hotels resorts - beautiful, elegant and top service including massages and buffet breakfasts. Food - Supera goes out of their way to handpick local specialties that most tourists don't know about. The food was unique and delicious. A real treat. Transportation - buses, longboats, flights - all handled for us, including all luggage transfers. Our tour guide Betty Tsai. What a pro! She's the perfect mix of organization and keeping it fun. Her attention to detail kept us moving smoothly through the trip. She even managed to work with the Mandarin Oriental to get me a personal item I accidentally left at the hotel after checkout. Ms A - so cute, with excellent knowledge of Thai culture and history. This was our third Supera tour, and it won't be our last!

I had some questions about booking time and our service dog and he personally called me, recommended the perfect start time and said he would love our dog to join us, he gets hospitality and customer service. We arrived at the starting point and were greeted by our host, Jeffrey. He is one of the nicest guys you can ever meet. He loaded us all in the luxury Mercedes van, stocked with waters/treats, and off we went. The tour is 5 hours, with a lunch stop at the famous Farmers Market. Time flies though! You'll go through the Hills for breathtaking views, visit Hollywood sign, get the tourist Hollywood experience (Chinese Theatre/Dolby Theatre/Walk of Fame), see movie studios, celebrity past/present homes, Rodeo Drive, and much more. The entire tour our guide, Jeff told us facts and stories about the different areas we visited. His knowledge and stories were worth the price of admission. This was the ultimate LA in a day tour. Highly recommend. Private tours are the way to go and this is the one you want.

I don't always stop by here, but if I'm at San Fransokyo, I WILL stop by here!…read more There's nothing better than a good sour dough bread and you can get a free sample by walking in! Yay! Yippee! Getting anything free from Disney is an appreciated rarity. There's a lot of cool neat trivia about how sour dough is made, the yeast cultures that go into it, historical facts about Boudin, and you can watch them make and bake the bread right there behind a glass window. From start to finish, it's a nice activity that's not super busy and not cortisol spiking at Disney. Honestly, each time I've gone here, all the tables are full, but I don't blame them. It's indoors covered seating and a place you can enjoy your bread bowl and enjoy the scenes of making (and I guess breaking) bread. There's a small cart outside selling the sourdough (regular loaf and cool seasonal/Disney shapes) and it's right next to Aunt Cass's cafe if you would like a bread bowl and some chowder! Love it!

I did not realize The Bakery Tour is just one room explaining how bread is made. Okay so, the exterior is super cute within the San Frantokyo area with great themeing, and an adorable car outside. When I walked in, no one was there which I think may have been the first unusual anomaly for my pop in. Apparently there is usually a cast member handing out samples at the entrance. Just bad timing on that one, so no negative marks for that. Apparently they used to have video screens but now don't even have that in showing you how sourdough bread is made. Just a couple of plaques explaining the process. Cool I guess. I walked in and I walked out. Don't get me wrong, I love the bread and I love the adorable Mickey Mouse design - Vampire Mickey during Halloween! And other seasonal specials throughout the year. However the 'tour' isn't that at all and to be counted as an attraction instead of a shop is bizarre. Love you though, California Adventure!
