Plenty of room to drive our 43 through..

Perfect stop along the I75 Hwy. Very friendly people. We left Punta Gorda area and only wanted to drive a couple of hours. Interesting how they file you in to park. First come...first served!! We stayed two days, drove through Historical Alachua... quaint but not much was happening. But, also close to Gainesville. Plenty of spots to have breakfast, lunch & dinners. It was perfect location because we were heading over to Apalachicola through Perry. Back to the campground.... we thought it was a pretty location. Lots of trees. The property was clean. Interesting to be able to walk to the animal yard in the back. We did spot several fire ant hills....so be careful. Also, the macaws are caged up front behind the offices. We got there at feeding time. Very cool talking w/ one of the guys feeding them. Would we stay again...... YES !!

Unique campground! We stayed there two nights due to an event being held locally. The grounds are larger than I thought. Quite a few extended stay lots. Everything was clean and well maintained. We staff was very kind and helpful. We only encountered one front office staff and a gentleman whom escorted us to our site. Again, both of whom were very friendly. The over night parking area was different than I have seen. Pull though sites but lined up behind one another. Sites had decent spacing between each other. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the pool area but it also looked very clean. I loved visiting the animals on-site. The donkeys were very cute and talkative. We would return!

    Love the miniature donkeys!

Be sure you checkout the site and amenities before paying. They refused a refund for us after only 20 minutes.

Luckily, Casey Jones RV Park was just down the street. I called late Monday afternoon, spoke to Rose, who was so friendly and accommodating. Explained the RV repair situation and that we didn't know if our stay was going to be 1,2 or 3 nights. She said.."no problem". I asked for 2 nights, not knowing what the future held. They were very flexible & accommodating. Day 3.... AM..... . yeaaaa, RV was fixed. I gave my many "thank you's" and said goodbye. We were checking out !! Well, we got about 4 miles down the road.... engine alerts came back on and we turned the Coach around and headed back to repair shop. I called back to Casey Jones RV and asked for a 3rd night. Again, they said "no problem... and said that they even saved my same spot for us". . Almost like they knew we'd be back !! Now on Day 4.... RV fixed and we got on our way to continue our trip. Besides being very close to the Truck Service Center....... This park is nice, quiet and easy in & out for our 43 ft Coach. Reasonable overnight prices as well. YES..... I would stay here again & recommend to others.

We are a small, family owned & operated park with 14 sites. We offer 15/30/50-amp service, full hook-up to self-contained units only (No public restroom/bath house at this time), picnic tables, and fire rings. One of our favorite things about our park is the old general store we had moved approximately 36 miles across Suwannee County, for our future office. Many people stop by just to snap a quick picture along their journey. Keep your eyes open for different types of wildlife, including hawks, owls, deer, turkey, and rabbits. Rustic Oaks RV Park - They moved an antique store front over 30 miles to relocate it to their property. It's super cute and eventually will become a small store.
