It's a beautiful campground with trees and grass! The staff is friendly and they keep the park clean. Overnight stays are on concrete, it's an unusual set up but works well. My issue was parking on grass, personally just not a fan for my tires or leveling system. A few issues with power surges but they were working on it. I'd definitely go back. read more

This place is very nice and continently located very close to 1-75. The park is very well kept. The sites are spacious and the management team is very friendly and accommodating. We are traveling with pets so we were place directly across the road from a very nice dog park that runs along side the donkey area. This is by far one of the nicest places that we have done overnight stops at. read more

Perfect stop along the I75 Hwy. Very friendly people. We left Punta Gorda area and only wanted to drive a couple of hours. Interesting how they file you in to park. First come...first served!! We stayed two days, drove through Historical Alachua... quaint but not much was happening. But, also close to Gainesville. Plenty of spots to have breakfast, lunch & dinners. It was perfect location because we were heading over to Apalachicola through Perry. Back to the campground.... we thought it was a pretty location. Lots of trees. The property was clean. Interesting to be able to walk to the animal yard in the back. We did spot several fire ant hills....so be careful. Also, the macaws are caged up front behind the offices. We got there at feeding time. Very cool talking w/ one of the guys feeding them. Would we stay again...... YES !! read more

We needed a last minute spot on a Sunday evening and Angie stayed late to get us in even though we were still 45 minutes away! Eric escorted us right to our paved, clean and level spot with a view of the small farm! They were very accommodating and since this is a perfect middle spot for our round trips we make at least monthly , we are happy to have found it! we are often traveling at night and have last minute changes to our schedule often so accommodation is key for us and we are hooked! read more

Great place! Easy on and off the highway. A unique place to stay. They have a couple of dog parks too. Town isn't too far away either if you're in need of anything. There's a good variety of stores within 10-15 minutes. Would recommend staying here if you're in the area. read more

Unique campground! We stayed there two nights due to an event being held locally. The grounds are larger than I thought. Quite a few extended stay lots. Everything was clean and well maintained. We staff was very kind and helpful. We only encountered one front office staff and a gentleman whom escorted us to our site. Again, both of whom were very friendly. The over night parking area was different than I have seen. Pull though sites but lined up behind one another. Sites had decent spacing between each other. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the pool area but it also looked very clean. I loved visiting the animals on-site. The donkeys were very cute and talkative. We would return! read more

We stayed here on the way to Key West and again in the way back. Location was great, right off the highway. Staff were really friendly, Gail (Gayle??) being just the best!! The overnight sites are very easy to pull in and out of. They are setup two together, so if if you get assigned E1, you have someone in front of you in E2 so you can't just pull through to leave. We were just there for an overnight, so only used WiFi and cable, which worked just fine. Nice to know about this place for future needs. Would definitely stay here again. read more

We are staying here for an extended amount f time for medical reasons for my wife. They have been very accommodating to our needs. The office staff has been fantastic especially a gentleman by the name of Willy. He has been very helpful. Also the maintenance staff is awesome too. We needed a spot for a night after a long drive. The park is right next to I-75. This is a beautiful park and very well-maintained. Sites are asphalt with plenty of room. They rescue animals! The dude who owned it used to breed Mcaws. And those 80 year old birds are still on property. And any birds he sold, if for some reason you needed to rehome them, he'd always take them back. They've got peacocks, a donkey, emu, goats... The animals have plenty of room in a fenced off meadow area, but were friendly and came to the fence to get petted by my little girls. I swear, not only would my kids fall for "puppies in a windowless van" trick, so would I. So for the actual campground... It was a fine pull off the interstate for the night campground. They are right next to 75, friendly, have a pool and full hook up. The sites are a little funny, in that you do pull up behind other vehicles, but they leave a pull-out/drive through lane next to it. We are a 42 ft motorhome towing a jeep and didn't have a problem with it. read more

We just stop along the way for work but this campsite has two, yes, two dog parks. Beautiful rescue animals, close trash, and some wonderful oaks. Love this site. It is also close to shopping, Bass Pro and several other places. read more

We stayed seven weeks while my husband was undergoing radiation at Shands in Gainesville. CG managers were extremely helpful about working with our changing medical scheduling. We also received a medical discount during our stay. There were also other Shands' patients staying there since it is probably the closest CG to the hospital. The CG is right off I75, so it is easy to get around the area. Many overnight campers also stayed there. When you arrive, a campground tech takes you to your site and guides you into your space. WIFI and Cable TV were acceptable. When ants popped up on our site, the tech took care of them promptly. Restrooms were old but also very well maintained. There are a number of very good local restaurants nearby--Brown's Country Buffet, Mi Apa Cuban Cafe, The Conestoga in nearby Alachua, and The Great Outdoors in High Springs. High Springs also has some cute antique shops. There are also some chain restaurants close by--Moe's SW Grill, Zaxby's, McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, Wendy's, Subway, Taco Bell, etc. 13 miles south on I75 there is a very nice mall at Exit 387. There's a great selection of stores and restaurants in and around the mall, which is still very much alive. This CG is very convenient for an overnight stay or for medical treatments at Shands. The hospital is about 20-25 minutes away. We would definitely stay again for either purpose. We say "Thanks" to the CG staff who gave us a successful visit. read more

The worst Campground you will ever find. Pam, a Harvard Grad with a Traumatic Brain injury, takes a while to get her bearings in new places. So after asking a few people how to get back to our RV, they called the police on her and the officer came out and said " there is nothing here", insinuating that there was no reason for him to be there. His report will be part of the law suit! Please stay away from this heartless RV Camp! read more

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. The owner is as rude as they come, especially when dealing with customers who are friendly. My daughter, her friend, and one of my employees were using the pool and the owner had absolutely no class in dealing with them. Very unprofessional and nasty. I'd move on.... read more

For dog people a 5, great 150'x150' enclosed run that is right next to some of the 4 legged animals. It is a little walk from the overnight spots but not that far. Interesting parking and layout all paved. Clean place and friendly staff. Probable closer to a 4 1/2 star. Everything you need right down the street too. read more

A nice place to spend a night while traveling. The campground is spacious and easy to get to. There are lots of trees on the sites, it is scenic here. They have lots of birds, horses, and other animals here, kids love it. There is not much else to do in the immediate area, but Gainesville is fairly close by. read more

The over-night parking sites are a little odd but didn't cause a problem for us. This campground has nice green rolling hills with beautiful trees and farm animals on the perimeter. Be sure to check the rescue area for exotic birds. The laundry room was immaculate with a nice library. We had a lovely stay. read more

This is the worst campground ever. I gave a review on their Facebook page. I only told the truth, what I saw, what I was told and text messages lying about us and they said they were going to have their attorney look at it and see what they could do against me. They also said my husband not I were never to step foot on the property again, which I find amusing since I dont plan on it and they need a trespass warrant to forbid us on their property. Let's just say if you are a veteran, you dont kiss but and will not be lied about or manipulated this is not the place to stay. Take a look at their animals which you can see are not taken care of. They have alcoholics riding around on company golf carts drinking and certain employees will wash your car, RV or make repairs for a cost while on company time. I recieved 2 packages which were opened. If I could give zero stars I would. Hands down WORSE PARK EVER!!!!!!!!! read more

Campground was clean and staff was friendly. The only complaint I have is we went to the pool for three days and on the last day they made my one year old get out of pool. There is a sign that says must be potty trained but I assumed that was if they didn't have on a swim diaper. He was wearing a swim diaper. So might not be as family friendly for smaller kids. read more

Let me say first and foremost what a wonderful staff this campground has. Barb, Erick, Ike, & Ronnie, to name a few, are fantastic! Jan, the new office manager, is doing her best to adapt to her position under new management, and as we have gotten to know each other, she is a very nice lady who wants to help the customer. There have been some bumps in the road during the transition from the former owner to the new owner, and that's the reason we are not rating the campground with more stars. Primarily, we aren't happy with the increase in rates. For years, the price was $37/night, with Good Sam, which is perfectly in line with other campgrounds in the area if you shop around. The old owner went up to $39.50/night with Good Sam during the last year, which was no big deal. However, the new owner has gone up to $49.45+tax, with Good Sam discount applied...without completing any changes to the park yet. That's a 33.65% price increase over the last 12 months. If the improvements were already finished, maybe we could understand such a significant increase, but they are not. For this reason, we have decided to make other plans, which is sad. We will miss the sweet people who work at Travelers and wish them the best. read more
