In Japan, I checked the currency rate and it is ¥161 to $1 USD, which is equivalent ~¥50,000. Definitely there is some mistake, I believe. Please Check my case, let me know what should I do. As I'm in Japan, I leave my message in review here. 2026 June 27 My fault to exchange currency in ICE International Currency. I checked others review and knew the answer of ICE customer service "Rate in YVR is much better than their online exchange rate". Roughly, they took 25% exchange fee from the official currency rate and it is quite match to my situation. Recommendation for future travellers: 1. Read other's reviews carefully before you exchange your currency. 2. Use your own calculator before you exchange the currency. 3. ICE system would fit to emergency exchange currency with small amount of money. 4. Everything is my (your) fault, ignoring other's reviews.

First of all, funny business counting the money back to me so I'd be confused as to how much I was actually getting - not cool. But 13 Mex for 1 usd is literally highway robbery and they should close this ripoff down. So fcking mad right now but I also hate to not have at least a few local dollars on me. Lesson learned. Congrats IAH, now not spending a single dime in this godforsaken airport because ICE just took like $50 from me for what? Nothing. Ugh. Negative stars if that was possible.

I really do not enjoy the mall, but I'm grateful that I was able to go to Baybrook and not have to deal with the Galleria. They have a few mall locations around town so it's very convenient. TCE is located near Macy's. If you park near H&M and go through the mall entrance, it's not too far. The website says they're near NY & Co. which is incorrect. Look for the kiosk near Icing and Journey's. Omar was the employee who helped me on both visits. He was very professional and nice. He explained the exchange rate, fees, and policies. The exchange rates are displayed on a digital screen. The exchange fee is $4. If you bring foreign currency back with the receipt, they will waive the exchange fee. If you're using a debit card, there's an extra fee of $1 though I didn't see this on my receipt. They will take paper money (they prefer denominations of 10s and 20s), but they do not take coins. According to the website, they have over 80 currencies, they'll mail money if ordered on the app, they match rates with banks, and they'll waive fees for certain professions with proper ID.

She was very friendly and polite and assisted me in exchanging dollars for currency of three Scandinavian countries I was to visit within 2 weeks time. I understand that Sweden wants to become a cash free country, but some cash is necessary to tip in the service industry!
