Thankfully, Tutor Doctor also offers tutoring during school hours, and that's when we began working with Zia. Zia was truly a godsend for my son. My daughter needed tutoring, so we called Tutoring Club. I initially spoke with a gentleman named…read moreRyan, who quoted us a total of $300 to $400 a month for 3-4 hours a week. When we got there, Daniel greeted us, and we did both the assessment and planning appointments ( he had us waiting 10 minutes past our appointment time for the planning appointment) with him. We later found out that it wasn't $300-$400 a month for 4 hours a week, but rather $360 a month for 12 months, covering 96 hours, and they run a hard credit check. This means she would be getting 6 months of tutoring for basically $360 bi-weekly, which felt misleading. I'd rather go to a tutoring place that doesn't do a hard credit check and is upfront with their prices. Additionally, Daniel was rude when I tried to discuss my daughter's needs; he would cut me off and talk about himself not even addressing or acknowledging what I just mentioned about my daughter.
