A day before the scheduled appointment, the guy who was supposed to come out called and seemed a little oblivious. Asked what time the appointment was for, could we move it up a couple hours, what work was I looking to have done. Which is strange as I gave all that info to the person when I scheduled the appointment. Day of the appointment, the guy giving the estimate arrived smelling like he had just dumped an entire bottle of cologne on himself. Then proceeded to try and convince me to NOT replace my doors because "it would probably be expensive" and apparently he had a track record of people he gave estimates to signing on to have work done and he didn't want to ruin his reputation/sales percentage. When I asked if he could do the quote both ways, he finally agreed after some arguing with me. After 90 minutes, he left my house and said he would email the quote that evening or the next day. Two months later, I haven't heard from him nor the company. No thanks Stanek Windows. If it's this difficult to just get an estimate for the work, I can't imagine how hard it would be to get your company to complete the work that you'd get paid to do.

They sent service under warranty to fix it. Two years later in 2024, the same window, other pane, also had a cam issue. They sent service under warranty to fix it. Now in 2026, the same window has another issue with the tilt latch not releasing. Also, a piece of the plastic trim on that window fell off. They told me that the window is no longer under warranty for service and that the service charge would be $495.00!!!!! This window has had problems from day #1. Stanek does not stand behind its products. Their service charge is unbelievable! Do not buy windows from this company!!

The rep was nice,answered all of our questions. Above all professional. The cost itself was within my expected range and its definetely good quality. We are actually saving money each month from the efficiency of the windows. Especially winter. Going to eventually get our bathtub redone by them when we can. Would recommend to anyone
