We were quoted for a new roof on our home in April 2025 and work began soon after. The workers had total disregard for our property. They stomped across our front garden, left their empty cans in our children's sandbox, and left nails just all over. They also smashed and snapped a huge limb off of our lilac bush (I watched them do this carelessly). They left extra pieces of roofing on the roof that blew off into the yard as well as a significant amount of nails on top of the roof of our porch. I understand the work can be messy, but this seemed outrageous. I was picking nails off our driveway for months afterward. The real issues started this winter. We live in Colden, NY and are used to harsh winters with an old roof. However, you'd think after almost $30k for a brand new roof you wouldn't have to worry about leaking/ insane ice issues on it. We have had leaking in the past that we were told would be remedied with the new roof. Instead, the leaking has been significantly worse this year causing more damage through our walls and ceilings. The first time they sent a repairman out to address the issue I was not asked if we were home or if they could come on the property. They called and told me (again, not asked) they'd be at our house in 20 minutes. While I appreciate the quick response, I am a SAHM with two littles and really did not feel comfortable receiving a call that someone would be coming into my home while I was home by myself. In addition to this, they gave the repairman the wrong address and he ended up stuck in my neighbor's driveway which was completely torn up when they pulled him out. The repairman did nothing but take photos of the house and shrug. He told me he couldn't do anything because the amount of ice on the roof would further damage it. The second time this happened, he took a ladder up to look at the issue and told us it was because of the siding. Our siding is old, however we are not convinced the siding is the issue. He found more pieces of roof that'd blown off in our yard and told us he was going to leave to reshape them and come back later that day to reattach them. He never came back, and we never heard from anyone again.

I called a few companies for estimates, but David the sales rep from City Fence was the friendliest and most helpful. He suggested I go with half vinyl/half chain link due to the size of my yard to keep costs down. Also had some other suggestions due to the extensive gardens I have in the yard. They weren't the cheapest nor the most expensive quote I received. After signing the contract, I was told it would be about 8-10 weeks (mid-fall) when they installed. They didn't get to my yard until January for the install and got 90% done within a week. Then- despite several phone calls to City Fence asking them to complete the job- they didn't return until April to put up the last few panels. And they only came out at that point because I refused to pay the final bill they kept sending me until the job was actually completed. Despite the fact that I love the fence and the installers did a great job, they're only getting 3 stars. Seems to be a real lack of communication between the sales reps and installers to let the customers know a realistic time-frame of when we can expect the fence to actually be installed. And then another breakdown between the scheduler and installers to actually get the guys to finish a job.

During a literal downpour the gentleman inspected the situation and gave us a reasonable quote of $1,200. We signed the contract knowing that the job scheduling would be unpredictable since this situation is dependant on weather On the date the work was done, we received a notification call about 30 minutes before arrival. 3 men arrived and immediately got to work. It took about an hour for the job to be completed. All of the refuse from the job was picked up, leaving no evidence that they were ever on site. The gentlemen were professional and very friendly. Before starting they explained exactly what they were going to do. My only problem was the 30 minute notice. A little more time would have been better but it doesn't impact the job. This is a great company to deal with.

They were there for issues I had been having when it rained, and on this particular morning, I hadn't seen it was raining - but I heard! I thought someone was breaking in, but it was the damn roof again!! Raining in my living room - not good! I was crying as much as it was dripping! I was getting more and more frustrated, had many people coming to help and give me prices, but as the old saying goes: "Action speaks louder than words", and they just never really followed through or showed up. I was desperate. It just so happened, by some random stroke of luck, I had scheduled an appointment that very morning with Joe White, salesman for Buffalo's Best. I was simply curious about them. Joe came in to see exactly what and where my issue was and knew it needed to be fixed sooner than later. Everyone told me to get more estimates on the job, but I felt Joe's price was fair for what I needed and the reviews I read were encouraging. Joe gave me hope and I trusted him, and so I said "Let's please just Git-R-Done" .... On Monday, October 27th, an amazing 'team' showed up, under the supervision of Domenic D'Angelo, and worked diligently from 8 AM to 5:30 PM. I needed a complete roof tear off and reinstallation. I was certain there was no way it could be done so quickly, but it was almost like magic! By dinner time, I had a beautiful new roof, everything was cleaned up and put back nicely, and to anyone who wasn't around on my street that day - they would never have known so much activity had taken place here. I was and still am in awe! The peace of mind alone is priceless. I cannot put a price tag on the feeling of security, after decades upon decades, that my roof is intact and leaks are a thing of the past, at least for the duration of my lifetime. I have a warranty transferable when I sell my house, and the assurance that if there are any problems whatsoever, Buffalo's Best Roofing will come to my aid and assistance immediately. It's not like doing business with a business, it's like making a new friend who I can trust and build a lasting relationship with. It all started with a new roof! I'm so appreciative to Buffalo's Best Roofing that I'm definitely going to get prices for new windows and doors come spring. Why not? After the storm January 2024 with 8 foot dropping in the greater West Seneca area. A week later with the melt we discovered a few of gutters had pulled away and a couple of wind driven siding needs. I contacted Mitchell and spoke with Faith in the office on Monday Jan 29, to be told someone would get back top me in the next couple of days. Wednesday Jan 31, 4:45pm I get a phone call from Mike Buffalo Roofing, could they stop in a few minutes as they had just finished a job close to me. 10 minutes later 3 trucks, 1 trailer & 6 men arrive and correct the damage. They did not have enough gutter hangers to complete the job and said someone would be back sometime in the week to finish up. Thursday Feb 1, literally at 8 am a Buffalo roofing truck pulls into the yard. 2 men are up on the roof before I can coat up and make my way outside, finishing the extra hangers.
