I asked him if it was could stop taking the meds that pretty much stop the progression he said yes. the next visit the technician told me I had macular generation and to keep taking he meds. this doctor would have completely missed it if I hadn't have told him. from there it all went down hill..several people came in and talked to me--ya know like they do in used car lots -that s what it seemed like to me. at last "the closer was brought in." and I was already feeling something was off and I asked her..do I need to take a trqnqulizler to hear this? SHE GAVE ME A CONFIDENT NO..well it turns out tthis would have cost me $6,000.00 out o;f my own pocket. I guess that chump change to little missy here...I was pissed that it cost me $350.00 just to find out the price of the procedure. I admit. there's no way to be exact..but dont try and tele the doctor doesn't know how much he charges for his own fees and don't tell me he doesn't know the cost of the lenses...ALL OF WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION PRIOR TO ANYTHING...I was pissed cause I felt like it was like a bait and switch..you've already invested 350 bucks of your own money and now..either your out that money or you fell you have no choice but to proceed..I find this highly immoral and unethical. ofcouse the doctor doesn't..and neither does the medical community..there are a lot of things you know the price of and the patient should be informed prior to investing money into it. I explained im retired and I don't have a lot of money I need that money back..because now they have shattered my trust in them and I want to see another doc but I can't afford to lose this money.. they refunded me half of it..then today I get a bill from them for an additional $45.00 dollars..why should I pay this doctor another dime when its possible he could've put my eyesight in danger because he din't properly diagnose my macular degeneration...I fell the whole thing was like a scam..maybe it wasn't an actual scam but all in all that's what it felt like.they need to treat their patients better..its taken me a while because my flood is still boiling..their whole system sucks ...and patients need to stop following doctors around like lost sheep and stick up for themselves. Person who answered the phone seemed super nice but…read more.. - First question- what's your insurance? - I tell her eye med- she says we don't take vision insurance- what's your medical insurance...BCBS - she asks HMO or PPO? - I tell her I'm not sure maybe an HMO? And she quickly tells me we don't take that either. Wow shut down at every turn. I actually just checked my insurance and it is a PPO. So if she just would've double checked or asked me to check my card I probably would've made an appointment. Now I'll never call this place back again and based on my experience, I can't recommend it either. I hope you have better luck with this place.

We live in Tequesta a short distance from the PBG vision center now and have decided to never go back. Today I had a 12:30 appointment and I arrived ON TIME. I was scheduled to see Dr Lima for a follow up exam. After waiting TWO HOURS with ZERO COMMUNICATION from anyone in that office, I left and will never go back. Why should a doctor or business make you wait for more than two hours for an appointment they made with a patient. No-one in the office would give me any feedback and I left PISSED OFF and vowed NEVER to go back. They may be good doctors but their business acumen and persona suck. Service was not in their training manual obviously! I would recommend to ANYONE thinking of going to this group to be prepared to be treated in a very poor manner. How they stay in business is beyond me. I've been President or CEO of four different businesses in my 81 years being on Earth. I cannot recommend more strongly, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR EYECARE. I used to see Dr Mangal a couple years ago and when i tried to make an appointment the schedule department (call center) refuse to schedule my appointment with him and told me there is a new doctor and schedule the appointment with Dr Bobo. When i got to the appointment she told me I need to see Dr Mangal and I have to reschedule. So, I explained to her that the call center did not want to make the appointment with Dr. Mangal and they booked me with her. So my appointment was reschedule and also the test that was done that day was done incorrectly. The nurse moved the machine in the middle of the test and the result were faulty. I took the day off for no reason because nothing was done!!!! The office just charged the copayment and file a claim for nothing!! I've trying to call the office but nobody answers/return calls. The only number where people answer the phone is at the call center and when I complained to them, they told me I must call directly the local office. It is 5 months that I am trying to resolve this issue and there is not a number for corporate or nothing Please look for another reliable doctor/ company if you have a condition, these people are not there to help, their only interest is the money and nothing else!!!

They are playing with peoples health. I've been patient. There is a federal law that states that they must give you your records within thirty days with written notice. There should be some common curtesy to keep things simple as they would expect the same for a new patient of theirs. Its all good, I'm writing the letter and hand delivering it today. I should not have to do this. Their billing system is from the 80s. Follow-up: I did go in person to get my records, they were very nice and got them for me. I did get the manager/records person has been out sick excuse, but I was very patient and called several times over several weeks. They weren't sure if the extension x212 was even valid (this is where the voice menu puts you). Another thing I'm kind of upset about is that my doctor left. So apparently my appointment was cancelled. I was not informed of this. No one from the office attempted to call me. The adjuster didn't want to send me to my original doctor even though he was in the system. She referred me to Dr. Kam. After reading the reviews on Yelp! I feared the worst. Boy, was I wrong! His office was very friendly and professional. Had me in for x-rays before I could finish my paperwork. After that I was escorted to an examination room where the PA saw me immediately. Next Dr. Kam came in and he was very pleasant and professional. Asked why I didn't see my original doctor and I told him the adjuster felt he was "crazy expensive." He just shook his head. Read the X-rays, examined my shoulder, and complemented the original doctor for doing a nice job. He reassured me that I had just strained a muscle. I was on my way and felt relieved! Follow up in a month to make sure I'm healing properly. So, the Doctor was great, the staff was very pleasant and the only negative thing I have to say about my experience was that the parking lot is a nightmare. And I'm very selective about who I let treat me! Five stars!

This experience made it clear that the focus is on money rather than patient care. I would not recommend this establishment.
