Five stars without a doubt. We booked a sunset cruise for a weekday during our vacation to Vero beach. Captain Kirby arrived to the dock early. His boat was clean and no less than five minutes into our hour and a half long cruise we saw dolphins. Captain Kirby was informative, funny and gave us a great restaurant recommendation (see my review on Riverside Cafe). His vast knowledge of the area and waterways made for a relaxing and stress free cruise. The cruise was private and his boat offers a bathroom, both of which are not common with other local boat tours. We will book another cruise next time we are in the area! read more

Had a very enjoyable and relaxing 90 minute ride around some of the Indian River Lagoon. Capt had lots of info on the waterway, wildlife, and area developments. Also got some local dining recommendations that we are looking forward to trying out. One important note; as a person who has mobility issues, the pick up area is very close to parking so getting to and from the boat and car were very easy. The boat itself was open and easy to get around in. I would recommend this for people who have these sort of challenges. read more

We got to see so many dolphins right off the bat and he is an explorer so he really wanted us to see the manatee. Maybe next time. Captain Kirby is great! He was very knowledgeable, kind and fun. We learned all about the river and saw some great things. He put us right on the dolphins which was something I'll never forget. An outstanding experience at a very reasonable price! We saw dolphins and a baby manatee and learned a lot about the area that we cruised through on a very comfortable boat. Capt. I can't say enough about Captain Kirby. We chartered him today, for a 4 hour fishing trip. He not only put us on the fish, he also provided invaluable insight to the area/ Indian River Lagoon. We caught 6 different species of fish, and then he took us on an Eco cruise, where we saw Manatees, Bull sharks(where they were spawning) and dolphins. He should be a must visit on your trip to Vero, and even if you are local, you may want to try him. read more

Had an absolutely wonderful time on our sunset cruise. Kirby was extremely knowledgable of all wildlife see on tour (birds, fish, and dolphins!), in addition to the history and landmarks along the Indian River Lagoon. We were able to book last minute (an hour) before we set sail which was really convenient! His boat was a perfect size for a party of 6-8. Myself and guest only paid 30$ per person to have the entire boat to ourselves for an hour and a half to watch the sunset over the lagoon with a bottle of wine (had we planned sooner we could've brought a cheese plate or other appetizers) Can't beat the price! My boyfriend and I are huge foodies and Kirby who is a local of the area was able to highlight all the best dinner and lunch spots based off our specific taste. After the cruise we went to a restaurant he recommended and had the absolute best dinner of our entire trip! Kirby also gave us information on surrounding towns and breweries to try. If you are not from the area and traveling through, I would highly recommend this tour as a great way to sight see the beautiful lagoon and be linked up with a cool down to earth local whose the captain of the boat! The experience and insight Kirby provided us for our trip was priceless. MUST DO ACTIVITY WHILE IN THE AREA. read more
